Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Power System

Elysium Citadel, Elysium _________________________________________________________________________________________________

"I need to hear each of your opinions," I said, my tone firm yet open. "What do you believe would be the best power system for the Syntari? Share your thoughts on how we can build a framework that supports their growth and potential."

Zenith, calm yet filled with anticipation, responded first. "This power system is essential for their development, but it shouldn't be too restrictive. They need the freedom to surpass our initial expectations and evolve in ways we might not foresee."

Elys added thoughtfully, "We should categorize all the energies within the Origin dimension to give the Syntari structured access to each type."

I nodded, taking in their insights, and gestured for the rest of the Council to share their thoughts. To aid their vision, I transferred knowledge of future powers and potential threats the Syntari might face, giving everyone the foresight to shape their suggestions accordingly.

Lunaris spoke up next, "The power system should have built-in limitations, encouraging us to master our current abilities before progressing to new ones. This will ensure depth and discipline in our growth."

Sage agreed. "We need a way to categorize individuals by power levels. This would help us assess their capabilities and effectively manage Elysium."

Chronos added, "It should be a continuous, never-ending process for the Syntari to gain powers, so there's always room for growth."

Fortuna chimed in, "With every milestone, they should gain unique abilities to motivate them toward greater achievements."

Warden offered his view, "The system should incorporate a mechanism for self-regulation. Transparency and traceability in accessing each energy type would allow us to monitor for any misuse or deviation from the intended path."

Seeker then said, "There should always be something new or innovative for the Syntari to discover, allowing each to distinguish themselves and bring out their unique potential."

Mystic nodded thoughtfully. "We could implement subdivisions within the main power system. Broad fields of power could be categorized, creating more specific paths that enhance each Syntari's mastery."

Shade added, "High-tier powers should have layers of permissions and checks. Not everyone should access certain abilities without meeting specific criteria, as this would help us identify anomalies early and act preemptively against any internal or external threats."

Finally, Cipher spoke. "The system should also include auxiliary abilities and external power sources, allowing us to evaluate the true strength of each Syntari and ensure that none in a particular field are left behind."

I nodded in agreement with their points and continued transferring pre-built power systems from other worlds, future timelines, and even fictional realms from my previous life. After much debate and lengthy discussion, we finally drafted a power system. The whole process felt as if we were creating a constitution—a foundational framework to guide and shape the Syntari's future.

I reviewed the power system we had selected one more time, reciting it clearly to ensure everyone fully grasped its structure and intent.

"To begin, we'll categorize the mastery of energies or powers into five distinct levels of progression:

Basic: This is the starting point, where an individual is just beginning to harness new powers or abilities.

• Control: 0-10% control. At this stage, the user has minimal control, and their application of the energy is inconsistent or unstable.

Adept: This stage marks the beginning of gaining tangible control over the power.

• Control: 10-50% control. At this level, the individual has a growing understanding of their abilities and can apply them in basic, structured ways. For the Syntari, this level corresponds to their birth, where they naturally begin to manipulate energy.

Proficient: Here, the individual has a firm grasp on their abilities, able to control most aspects of the energy or power.

• Control: 50-90% control. The user is highly skilled and can handle most applications of the energy with efficiency. For Syntari, this means they can manage all the major applications of their powers or energy, such as defensive, offensive, or support abilities.

Master: At this level, the user has complete mastery over their energy or power.

• Control: 90-99.99% control. The individual can wield the full potential of their power, manipulating all aspects with precision and without limitations.

Grandmaster: The pinnacle of mastery, where the energy or power is controlled as if it were an extension of the user's very being.

Control: 100% control and the ability to derive new powers or applications from the pre-existing power. A Grandmaster can innovate and go beyond the limitations of the original energy, unlocking new forms or uses that weren't initially possible.

Each of these stages represents a critical step in the development of the Syntari's mastery over their powers, creating a clear path of progression from basic control to unprecedented mastery and innovation."

I continued, breaking down the details. "The Syntari power structure follows a tiered system, starting at the Human level and advancing all the way up to the Boundless level. Each tier is divided into three stages: C, B, and A, representing low, middle, and high points of power. But it doesn't end there. Each of these stages is further broken down into Low-End and High-End distinctions, providing a more precise hierarchy. This way, we can track our evolution and growth on a much more refined scale."

Ryan moved to the next point. "The tiers range from basic physical capabilities at the Human level to transcendent and limitless abilities at the Boundless level. Here's the breakdown:

• Tier 1: Human (1-C, 1-B, 1-A)

• Tier 2: Superhuman (2-C, 2-B, 2-A)

• Tier 3: Urban (3-C, High 3-C, 3-B, 3-A)

• Tier 4: Nuclear (Low 4-C, 4-C, High 4-C, Low 4-B, 4-B, 4-A, High 4-A)

• Tier 5: Tectonic (5-C, High 5-C, Low 5-B, 5-B, High 5-B, 5-A, High 5-A)

• Tier 6: Substellar (6-C, Low 6-B, 6-B, 6-A, High 6-A)

• Tier 7: Stellar (Low 7-C, 7-C, High 7-C, 7-B, 7-A)

• Tier 8: Cosmic (8-C, 8-B, 8-A, High 8-A)

• Tier 9: Multiversal (Low 9-C, 9-C, 9-B, 9-A)

• Tier 10: Higher Infinity (Low 10-C, 10-C, High 10-C, 10-B, High 10-B, 10-A, High 10-A)

• Tier 11: Boundless"

I've drawn inspiration/fully copied for this system from the VS Battle Fandom, a concept I've encountered in my past. It's a remarkably versatile framework that allows me to categorize all power levels, with the flexibility to introduce new tiers as necessary.
