Marisa also raise her head when she heard what Tamara said and where she is staring at, and she meets the ladies, but when she want to look away, her eyes and that of Cheyenne's meet, she stops and stares at her, while asking Tamara
"Who is she?''
Tamara looks at her but don't know which of them she is asking after so she question
"Which of them are you talking about?''
Cheyenne is putting on a maroon jeans and Tan polo, with white sneakers while Erika has a white jeans, a brown polo with a jacket she puts on when they arrived at the mall, so Marisa answer
"The one on your mother's- in- law left side, wearing a tan polo"
"Oh the queen herself, she is the one I told you about, Logan always takes her side in all conversation that relates to his friends, he won't like to have anyone badmouths her be it me or any of his family members and the worst is that the girls have more statue and grounds in his family than me who is going to be the bride"
Tamara complains
Marisa frowns her brows and ask
"What is her name and how did she relates to your in-laws?''
"Cheyenne Balzary Waltz, the only daughter of Colonel Balzary Waltz and the granddaughter of Formal Major Agnes Waltz, the whole family is in army and she is also in the army, just that I don't know what rank she holds but I know that Logan respects her quite a lot and is driving me crazy and as of how she is related to my in-laws, Logan said she is his friend but their friendship is quite deep than what it looks like"
says Tamara with gritted teeth but Marisa went into a deep thoughts while looking at Cheyenne, since the group happens to make a stop on seeing something beautiful and Mrs. Rosita is checking the price on it
"Hang on, she is related to Waltz
cooperation?''
Marisa suddenly asked
"Yes, I heard her father is also a great business man and so is her younger brother, you must have heard of 'Mie cheery Pete's foot wears' it is one of the biggest here in Arctic city"
"Yes, my brother wanted to partner with them for some business earlier last year but it didn't work out well, why, is she related to the owner?''
says Marisa
"Silly, her brother owns it, she is a princess you see"
Tamara says with a hint of jealousy and envy in her voice
'But why do I found it hard to believe that she is related to the Waltz and those eyes…it seems very familiar"
Marisa mumbles.
Not long the Cheyenne and her group approach them.
Tamara hurry stands to greet her mother- in- law as soon as Mrs. Rosita draw closer to them even Marisa joined but her gaze never leaves Cheyenne
"Good day mother"
"Oh dear, I hope we didn't keep you two waiting for long?"
Mrs. Rosita, even though she don't like the soon to be daughter-in-law much , it didn't stops her from being nice to her and since she is a gentle woman, every words from her mouth is always gentle, hearing her, Tamara smile shyly and shakes her head
'No'
"Greetings Mrs. Noah"
Marisa went to Tamara's side and greets with a smile, Mrs. Rosita looks at her and then at Tamara, who went and hold Mrs. Rosita hand even pushing Abby who is holding it earlier aside before she introduce
"Mother, this is Marisa, my childhood friend, and also the chief bride's maid I told you about"
"Oh, Miss Traylor, dear is nice to meet you in person"
Mrs. Rosita smile warmly to Marisa as she says this
"it is a pleasure to meeting you too Auntie and I have heard quite a lot about you from Tamara, she seems to like you more than the husband she is getting married to"
Marisa comments, Cheyenne and Erika in the other hand held themselves from laughing out loud but their eyes betrayed them when they heard her fake words, even the smile on Mrs. Rosita's lips didn't reach her eyes, showing that she don't believe what Marisa just say, Zoey seeing the awkwardness around them, she clear her throat and say to Tamara
"Miss Tamara, nice to meet you, I am Zoey, Brother Logan is my cousin"
"Hi, so you are my cousin sister-in-law then"
Tamara smile to Zoey which she respond and nods to her words
"Yes, and you have met Abby, Cheyenne and Erika before, I invited them to help with shopping, they are my sweethearts"
Mrs. Rosita's love for the girls shows just in her eyes, since her eyes shines as she speaks about them, she touches Abby's chine who giggles like a child and hug Mrs. Rosita's arm, while Mrs. Rosita pats her head so lovely, even Marisa could see the love she has for the girls from just her actions
"We meet again Miss Tamara"
Erika say when she felt Tamara's boiling eyes on them
"Indeed Miss Erika, Miss Cheyenne, is nice to meeting you again"
Tamara says to them, Cheyenne just bow slightly to her with a lazy smile
"Why being so formal now, she is soon to be your sister-in-law, you should address her as one"
Mrs. Rosita reprimands the girls
"That won't be necessary Auntie, Miss Tamara herself don't like us, why do we need to build a relationship with someone who don't like us"
Abby is always known to be a straight forward person, she always speaks what is in her mind and everyone knows that about her, Erika chuckles on Abby's words
"Abigail Tomlinson Cullen!"
Mrs. Rosita calls her in her full name, which only happens when she is angry, Abby shuts up immediately and to ease the mood,
Cheyenne opens her mouth and comments
"Auntie, she is going to be Logan's wife in two weeks, why not we leave the 'sister-in-law' till then, now we come to shop, and we have wasted enough time already, come on, let's be useful"
hearing her voice which is calm with a calm temperament, Marisa looks her up and down and comments inwardly
'It took quite long time to master how to speak like that, how come she is good with it?''
Erika backed Cheyenne's words, so Mrs. Rosita has no choice but to put the words aside, and lead the way to where they will start with the shopping,
Erika and Abby were giving the task of buying gifts, Cheyenne ended up with Marisa since she knows quite a lot when it comes to their task, they were told to buy gifts bags and gift boxes, while Mrs. Rosita, Zoey and Tamara went on with clothing and some room decoration stuffs, since Tamara is joining Logan in his room, some changes have to be made.

It's around 5pm that they all meet at the counter table to pay for what they bought
"Ohm….Miss do you do home delivery?''
Cheyenne ask the girl at the counter, who smile warmly and answer
"Off course ma'am, which of the goods do you want us to deliver for you?''
Cheyenne points at the corner, where sorts of bags were packed, and amongst them is a bicycle and everything young children of Pete's age will love,
Cheyenne after putting a white card on the counter says
"Here is the address, my car is not big for all of it so I couldn't take all of them at once, sorry if I disturbed"
"Is nothing Miss, is our duty"
The girl at the counter respond professional
"Thanks a lot. Auntie, is that enough or is there another things you wishes to buy?"
Cheyenne queries Mrs. Rosita who is checking her list of things
"You girl, I think is enough for now, but if there is something I need, I will happily send Carlos or Niamh, those two have being lying lazily with Logan"
hearing this, Abby, Erika, Zoey and Cheyenne laughs, but that stops immediately Marisa's questioning voice come
"You are from the Waltz family Miss Cheyenne?''
Cheyenne looks at her then back at Tamara, and then nods and question
"Did something happen Miss Marisa?''
Marisa give a forced smile and replies
"Nothing at all Miss Cheyenne, I asked because I saw the name on the card, don't get me wrong Miss Cheyenne"
"Why should I? you are only being curious, and is nothing, and by the way, my full name is Cheyenne Balzary Waltz, I hope I have answered Miss Marisa's question"
Cheyenne says this with a low voice but the tone carries a lot of weight, even Marisa felt that the aura around her has changed and she couldn't help swallow her saliva and nods to Cheyenne with a fake smile
"She is the little princess of the Waltz my dear, by the way I will also have this deliver to our house, why not we go and have some food after words I am starving"
Mrs. Rosita suggests
"Likewise me, I have being walking around the mall the whole afternoon, let's go have something to eat"
Abby joins
"Off course, aren't you the foodie, you are bound to be starving"
Erika tease
"let my baby be, come let's go now, Tamara dear, join us as well"
Mrs. Rosita held Abby and Zoey after paying the money for the goods and drops address for where it will be delivered
"Sure mother"
answer Tamara, but Mrs. Rosita has walk pass her before she respond.
"They seems to be the daughter while you are the servant, is that what you are going to go through, Tamara?"
Marisa says while staring at the back of the five ladies in the front
"I will put them in their place when I go into that family, I don't like the guy but that doesn't mean that I will allow them walk on me like I am nothing"
Tamara says with hands clenched into a fist
"They are doing it deliberately to show off,
and all three of them apart from his cousin sister, they seems to be from a good background"
"You are right, they came from a powerful families which my little Lukens family can't even stands before''
Tamara respond in a tiny voice
"Hey! Why worried, why am I there for then? Relax; if they come for war, I will make sure to put them in their respective places, they are nothing but daddy's princesses"
Marisa assured and Tamara smile proudly when she heard this.
They later meet at a simple restaurant but one of the best when it comes to great meal in the whole town, everyone orders and Marisa insisted on paying for it, she ask them to treat it as her first time meeting them gifts, so none of the girls complain instead they eats to their satisfaction since they are already use of someone paying for their meals, they don't find it strange.
After eating her full, Cheyenne drops her cutleries and picks her glass of water to drink some but meet Marisa eyes, who has being watching her for a long time, Cheyenne didn't look away instead return the gaze and at the end Marisa takes her eyes away from her
"Are you done already Cheyenne dear?''
Mrs. Rosita worried asked
"Yes auntie, I can't eat more, my stomach is full now"
Cheyenne answer with a smile
"You hardly eats, don't starve yourself my dear, you have become more thin than Abby"
"Seriously Auntie Rosita, Sister Cheyenne is way more thinner than me before, is not new"
Abby adds
"She is right Auntie, Cheyenne hardly eats"
Erika joins
"She is a Missus of a reputed family, she is maintaining her stature Miss Erika''
Tamara chimes in
"Stature indeed, she has being like this since we known each other, even granny Agnes is worried about her"
Abby says
"Why not shut up and eat your food, not everyone is a foodie like you, Auntie, don't worry I am fine and I am not maintaining any stature Miss Tamara"
Cheyenne respond one after another, Tamara sneer inwardly
"By the way, I was meaning to ask, will you ladies be free this weekend?''
Marisa suddenly asks
"We came back for Logan, so this week till his wedding, we are available, do you need something Miss Marisa?''
Erika answer with a question
"Perfect. Tamara has being like a sister to me and my family, we want to do all that she loves before the wedding, so this weekend we planned to go horse riding, I asked Logan but he said I have to talk to you ladies first, I forgot about it earlier, so what do you say?''
Abby's eyes shines same as Zoey hearing it
"I am in, I have never ride a horse before"
Zoey happily comments
"I am in too, when are we going?''
Abby joins.
"This Saturday, my brother and his friend is arriving tomorrow for the wedding, so we plan to have fun together, what do you say Miss Cheyenne?"
Marisa say, Cheyenne has being looking at her from the moment she starts talking and she saw the sly smile on her lips when she turn to ask her opinion, she smile and answer with her calm voice
"My brother needs some help in the company and I have make plans to go help him out this weekend, so I am sorry, I won't be attending"
"That is true, he seems quite tired from overworking, since we are here now, we are going to help, I hope Miss Marisa don't mind?"
Erika backs with innocent eyes,
Marisa laughs but it didn't cross her eyes,
"Off course not, but I will be happy if you attend, is for the bride and groom anyways"
"She is right girls, and you can't let Abby and Zoey go on their own, how about adjust the schedule and I am sure your grandmother won't mind"
Mrs. Rosita chimes in
"In that case, if we have free time, we will surely let Miss Marisa know about it, how about it"
Cheyenne pointed
"That is more like it, I will be looking forward to seeing you girls"
Marisa says
Cheyenne and Erika just give a low
'hmm'
and don't say anything else, Cheyenne watch them as they go back to finish their meals.

At the end of the day, Mrs. Rosita appreciate the girls for their help before boarding the car that is sent for her with Zoey and bide them good night. Cheyenne, Abby and Erika also bide Marisa and Tamara good night and drove out
On their way while driving home Erika starts
"What is going on in that girl's mind?''
Cheyenne just laugh, while Abby who picks up a thick book from the back seat, says
"So she is 'the' Marisa Traylor you spoke
about Captain"
She emphasized with her fingers
"Fool, so you just realized it now"
Erika sitting at the passenger seat says to Abby
"Come on, I slept off while reading her details, but I must say, the girl really match the cold and domineering boss lady I have read about in books, even just sitting down, she gives out a cold aura, she is powerful"
Abby praises
"You aren't wrong. on the first day I saw her, I felt it, but the thing is she is always a cold person, she is lucky that she is beautiful"
Cheyenne comments and the two laughs
"She seems curious about you, she kept on looking at you, like she is looking for something that she put on your body"
Erika suddenly recslls
"And Captain didn't let me down, since she return her with a cold one also, she ended up looking away, I guess this is not the end of it"
Abby boost
"A person like her will always have dirty plans up her sleeves, I will spare her if she don't cross her boundaries but if she does, I will make sure she regrets it"
Erika swear with furry eyes
"Okay that is enough guys, don't show your emotion before her, try and hid them, remember she has being in business field for years now and she can read people's thought very well, we can't alert enemies now, with so much going around''
Cheyenne advice and the two nods
"But Captain, are we really not going to the horse riding?"
Abby ask with anticipation in her eyes, Cheyenne look at her through the rear mirror and see through her, she sigh and answer
"I didn't lie earlier about Miles, he seems to be going through some problem, I want to go have a look at the company first, you know he won't say anything to avoid father's lectures"
"Then let's go have a look tomorrow, we aren't doing anything tomorrow"
Erika suggests
"Yeah and Abby if everything goes well, we will go, today is just Sunday, so we have like what six days to think about it"
when Abby heard this, she smile happily and went back to be a chatter box.
Cheyenne and Erika just shakes their heads and don't comment in anything she says as they drive home....
