Valeria made a sound somewhere between a gasp and a whimper, her hands clenching into the velvet sofa cushions.
"So here's the new price," Julian continued, his fingers tracing along her exposed slit. "I'm going to take you right here, right now, in front of all these people. And you're going to let me. You're going to submit completely. And in exchange..."
He pulled out a pouch and tossed it onto the table beside them. It landed with a heavy clink.
"That's twenty gold," Julian said. "More than you'd make in half a year. But you earn it by giving me exactly what I want, exactly how I want it, with no more protests or attempts to control the situation."
Valeria stared at the pouch. Twenty gold. That was... that was extraordinary. That was life-changing money.
