Chapter 9 - Pressing Visits and Visiting Press

Ever since Class 1A picked their leading Students for Class President and settled into their routine, things began to be a little simpler for a school dedicated to drawing out Pro-Heroes, each one having their own aces when it came to certain subjects as the weeks went on.

Momo and Iida were both considered the highly academic ones and often sat near the top when it came to written assignments and with non-physical schoolwork, both of them being equally willing to aid in helping others to study and get a grasp.

Bakugo and Kenshi both seemed to hold the top spots when it came to combat training along with physical exercise; The only difference being was that Bakugo tended to veer into Drill Instructor territory when people like Kirishima, Sato or anyone who could afford to handle Bakugo's attitude, while Kenshi took it slower and ended up being the more popular one when it came to help getting drills and understanding better since he was the more open/patient when it came to helping others.

"Alright, let's try this again; Remember what Aizawa said?" Kenshi said as he stood in a ready position while holding a rubber ball, Aoyama was next to him and looking a little nervous even though he had asked Kenshi for help.

"To hit as many targets as I can…And not collapse in the process." Aoyama said as he adjusted his belt; He had been quickly picked up on for his Quirk by Aizawa since it was effective but it had an abysmal side effect on his stamina and stomach. "But I don't understand, I can shoot as many times as I can but I keep missing them…It does make for a beautiful light show."

Kenshi nodded; "Well, that's because you fire laser beams, not actual bullets…You tried leading your shots?" He asked as he then decided to try showing by pointing to the moving targets. "So you look at the targets here and follow where they go, yeah?"

"Oui, but by the time that I fully charge a blast, it's already gone." Aoyama mentioned as he tried firing one, only to miss it by the corner as it began it's trail back along the line.

"That's where the leading comes in, you count the timing and slowly charge up your shot until you can lead it." Kenshi said as he watched a target on the top row moving back and forth, readied a ball by rearing his hand and waited for the right moment before throwing it in a fastball special, not just causing the counter to beep but the whole target to have a baseball sized hole in the middle of it. "Time your shots and wait for the right moment, then boom! You have yourself a hit target."

Aoyama nodded as he followed Kenshi's advice and began slowly charging his Navel Laser; Watching the target on the middle row moving back and forth as he tried to carefully hold on to his shot. When it finally reached the middle; Aoyama blasted and caught the target dead centre. "I got it!"

"Awesome! If you can keep up a good rhythm and aim for where something is instead of where it'll be, then you'll be golden." Kenshi said as he wandered off, leaving Aoyama to continue his practice. One thing that he picked up on since they started school was that learning more about individual Quirks made for interesting hypotheticals, right now had his own training to undergo before he recalled another meticulous note-taker when it came to heroes and Quirks.

"Yoshiyasu, where are you going? We are still in the middle of a set training period." Iida pointed out as he stopped to grab a juice since he had been training on his start speeds; While he and Uraraka became friends, Iida still had a hard time trying to get a read on Kenshi while they were at school.

"I uh…I kinda have somewhere else to train up, Mr. Aizawa's request and all." Kenshi admitted as he decided to stop for a little and catch up. "He said that he's got something to match what I have to work with since the whole test thing."

"Okay, but why not do it with the rest of our class since we're all trying to improve together." Iida asked as he glanced to Momo who was currently trying to test out how to better create items for her Quirk. "I'm certain that training with classmates would help with inspirational thinking." He pointed out as he gulped down an orange juice, the mechanics of understanding Kenshi's prowess was as mind-boggling as his Quirk itself.

"Well, you remember the whole thing with Bakugo during Quirk assessment…And the Combat training?" Kenshi pointed out as he watched Bakugo blow up a training dummy with an open palm slap. "He knows that I can take a hit now, so I'd much rather avoid stepping on a landmine if I even breathe wrong around him."

"I suppose that does make some kind of sense but you do have to address this problem at some point." Iida followed up as he crossed his arms; "While I can understand you not wanting to take risks when it comes to being in close proximity; You still can't let someone like him know that you make such precautions to avoid him even now…Otherwise, he will think that he still has a hold on you."

"I'll…I'll keep that in mind, later…" Kenshi agreed before he waved to Iida and Ochako who jogged her way over to try getting in on the conversation but felt her mood alter a little when he walked off.

"What's going on with him?" Uraraka asked when she saw Kenshi walking over to Aizawa to talk. "Is he still on his whole "I'm gonna try outdoing Bakugo however I can!" thing?"

"It looks like it but I think he's deliberately trying to avoid Bakugo more than actually show he's trying to excel." Iida admitted as he noticed that despite Kenshi's promise to make himself a good Hero, he tended to tiptoe around Bakugo. "But I still think that he can…It's why I voted for him as a Class President."

With his task set by All-Might and urged by Melissa, Kenshi tried to dedicate as much time to understanding his Quirk since UA was the one of the few places to actively do so. "So where exactly do I start with this?"

The training room that was set aside for him was Advanced Training Room Epsilon; A large indoor training arena that was open space for free movement and a corner that had a line of training dummies that were programmed for practice and for sparring, along with various other training equipment for staff and upper classmen to practice and better hone.

For this particular part of training, Aizawa had tasked Cementoss to help oversee the others while he and All-Might helped to try coaxing out a better understanding. "I can understand why you would want to look this over but how come Mr. All-Might is here too? Wouldn't he be better at helping the others?"

"Because considering what I've seen of your Quirk, Recordbreaker…All-Might has abilities that are the closest to your's; He's explained to me that you have…other abilities that seem to stem from this." Aizawa explained as he read over a clipboard before glancing up to Kenshi with an apprehensive look. "And while I have a hard time believing that this is all from one singular Quirk…I shouldn't have to repeat myself on a previous discussion we had."

All-Might nodded as he understood the boy's feelings of being singled out or any potential implications of preferential treatment. "There is nothing to fear, young Yoshiyasu!" He said with a thumbs up and then gestured around them; "Since this area is reserved for heavy duty training…You know, for things like Staff training since the likes of myself, Cementoss and Mr. Power Loader tend to need more intensive and open spaced training to test ourselves, I spoke with the Principal and he has agreed to the whole thing and Mr. Aizawa has promised to help with certain aspects if he needs to."

"But…But what about th-"

"Just so you know this now, All-Might told me about your whole business being a Polymorph…Currently the only ones who know this are you, All-Might, myself, the Principal and the School Nurse." Aizawa explained as he held up a list given to him by All-Might; "Right now, that bit of information stays between us; I won't say anything outside of this room and neither will they but who YOU tell is your own discretion."

"I…I see, so where do we start?" Kenshi explained as he felt a little relieved that Aizawa at least understood that even though he wanted to be a hero, he didn't want all his powers revealed to the class. "Having Bakugo know I have super strength and the capacity to tank his explosions is bad enough…"

All-Might cleared his throat as he gazed over the list that was given to him by David and Melissa, taking notes of the missing supposed abilities. "Right now, our primary task is to ensure that you can know what the full extent of your powers are; What they do, how far they can extend and more importantly…What your limits are."

Kenshi nodded as he saw Aizawa bring up a list from a tablet he was working on. "So do you have any tips on this?" He asked as he saw the list of remaining animals and potential abilities to decipher from.

Sheep - Currently Unknown:"Attack the dozing Sheep and fear the Ram's horns."

Rat - Currently Unknown:"Where a bird sees stillness from above, a rat can see more from below."

Monkey - Currently Unknown:"A creative man can be a sheep, a monkey or a lion yet still remain a man."

Dog - Currently Unknown:"The Noble Dog is best friend to man; it restores youthful energy to its holder and grants time without end."

Tiger - Currently Unknown:"The Noble Tiger counts on the Forest, just as the Forest counts on the Tiger."

"As far as what I can tell, Young Yoshiyasu…Most of this stems from theory when we last checked on this, though this last one does give me some ideas." All-Might mused as he remembered the mumblings passed around by David and Melissa; "You had been able to fly during the Entrance Exam if I remember right."

"I remember shooting up into the sky against that robot…"

Aizawa seemed to remember that because he had been a part of the surveillance process and Kenshi's act on the Zero Pointer Robot was front and center. "Can you recall how you did that? Because I can't see anything on this that relates to you somehow being able to fly."

Kenshi nodded as he tried to wrack his brain on that time, "I was trying to save Uraraka from getting squished…One of my powers is Levitation and tried to use it to float myself up to see if I could push it back…I don't really remember much else besides that."

"With adrenaline running through your system like that, I guess I can't blame him for not knowing exactly to the letter." All-Might thought as he then kept repeating that riddle in his head. "Wait, the tiger counts on the forest….just as the forest counts on the tiger…"

"Maybe it's something to do with animals?" Aizawa asked as he reread the notes and noticed something odd about the symbol for the Tiger; "It really is a riddle…It's Balance."

"Balance?" Both Kenshi and All-Might asked in confusion as they heard Aizawa's comment.

"Hold on…What exactly does a tiger have to do with balance? Like he can't topple over?" All-Might tried to follow with the other teacher's thinking but he couldn't think of any good reasoning.

"That can't be right…I have trouble on terrain if I move too fast with Super Speed." Kenshi agreed as he tried to stand on one foot but found himself wobbling whenever he moved himself.

"That's not the only kind of balance to exist, you two…" Aizawa pointed out as he then counted all the kinds of balance in life; "If we're looking at this from different perspectives…This particular symbol is more out of place among the other 11." He explained as he gestured to the Tiger symbol which unlike the others had two tigers in a circle similar to Yin-Yang.

"Or if it's something like Spiritual Balance…" All-Might suggested as he tried to come up with some kind of input; "You think that…Maybe it's what balances the other abilities with the others?" He asked curiously as he noticed Kenshi trying to slowly fly up into the air.

"It's plausible." Aizawa mentioned as he watched Kenshi awkwardly trying to fly around the room to get used to the added speed. "Normally when children are born; They inherit the Quirk from the mother, the father or they develop a fusion of the two…But with what you told me and the fact that Yoshiyasu hasn't experienced any physical or mental backlash from this mass gathering of abilities COULD possibly be the result of that idea of Spiritual Balance." He theorised and watched with a deadpan expression as Kenshi mistimed his acceleration and rocketed into a wall. "Though I guess it makes sense that there are hiccups with some aspects."

Kenshi groaned as he sat himself up and rubbed his head; "Okay…A lot more tricky to figure out than running at super speed…" He muttered as he got up; "So I guess it's fair to say that this can open up some new avenues?"

"Some? Do you realise the kind of possibilities that you can make for yourself by just being able to fly alone?" All-Might explained as he was still shocked that his successor could somehow still surprise him. "If you can mix the right power with each other and balance it properly…It could make you fly like a jet plane if you get the right mix of Speed and Levitation…It's only by practicing each of your abilities that you could discover more things to accomplish."

"Well…That still doesn't answer how I'm gonna figure out the others…That still leaves four left to figure out…" Kenshi mumbled as he looked to one of the lines of training dummies and then tapped it on the forehead; "Don't suppose you know anything to help?"

The dummy lit up for a brief moment and then suddenly thrust out a quick jab that grazed Kenshi's face, though thankfully in the time that he had trying to duck and evade any sucker shots or sudden moves from Bakugo, he had an almost quick reaction time to minimise the damage especially after the last Battle training.

This sudden outburst by the previously inert dummy caused warning bells to go off in Aizawa's head when he saw and looked to All-Might who had been equally caught off guard, "Did you turn the simulations on?"

"I haven't even touched them! He just touched the dummy an-wait…I think I know!" All-Might managed to realise what this was; "Those dummies won't fight or move unless they are activated and these things are moving like they're actual living beings."

Kenshi was ducking and weaving around each haphazard swing from the dummy and managed to knock it off of it's feet with a powerful front kick, only to groan in frustration when he saw it kick back up again; "How strong is this thing?!" He thought to himself as he ended taking a dozen swift jabs to the stomach to knock him down.

"Alright, I think test time's over for this." Aizawa grumbled as he activated his Quirk on both the Dummy and on Kenshi; Watching it freeze in mid swing before collapsing to the ground like a puppet that had it's strings cut. "Okay, Troublemaker…What was that?" He asked as he walked over toward the rising Kenshi.

"I…I don't know; One minute I was looking at that dummy then next thing I know, I'm getting sucker punched by training equipment." Kenshi admitted as he nudged it; "You are down now, right?"

The dummy remained unresponsive while All-Might pondered over the events and Aizawa double checked the training gear. "It wasn't just that, my boy." All-Might pointed out as he stood the dummy up. "You asked it a question and there was a brief glint around it for a moment before it….woke up."

"Nothing over here, by all accounts; This thing hasn't even been turned on and there's no autopilot set on this." Aizawa mentioned as he came back; "Though the way it moved and fought…You think this might be like a Possession or a Puppet Quirk?"

"I've seen a lot of Quirks on other people but it CAN happen." All-Might then looked to Kenshi; "How do you feel now?"

"Well…When I tapped that dummy, I felt a little off but now that it's gone down." Kenshi felt himself and then stretched; "I feel like I got my second wind!"

"Maybe we discovered another power." All-Might said as he checked the notes and like a light bulb went off in his head, he started scribbling; "Yoshiyasu, my boy! I think we've found out what the Rat's power does…Animation!"

"Sentience in inanimate objects is a rather uncommon power but as long as you don't abuse it, I think it can work." Aizawa nodded along as he filled in the gaps on All-Might's notes; "So judging by what just happened; You need to make physical contact with an inanimate object and it'll come to life…Though I think this only extends to human-like objects, so we should probably be careful with how you use it, especially if it leeches your stamina."

"Noted…Though how come it didn't do this before when I touch something like an action figure?" Kenshi asked out loud before placing the Dummy back in it's line. "Maybe that question I asked is like a summoning ritual or a keyword? Then what'll happen if I use it on something like a construct or on a robot? How much energy will it expend if I try and use it on a bigger target or maybe that one giant robot statue in the big city o-"

"Cool it down, Yoshiyasu…That motormouthing is gonna burn you out." Aizawa called out before this problem child muttered himself into a stupor. "Now we have a handle on another one, I guess all we can really do i-"

"Mr. Aizawa! I think we need help, Sero and Tsu both got tangled up during Quirk practice and we need help with trying to get them untangled." Mina called after she banged on the door.

Aizawa then sighed as he looked to All-Might with a cautionary expression. "If you're gonna spar, be careful…He might be strong but I don't think the principal will like it if either of you get too carried away." He warned before heading out of the door.

"Honestly, sometimes he's civil and sometimes he gets all stiff…" All-Might thought before looking to Kenshi; "Do you feel well enough to spar? It might be able to get the creative juices flowing."

"I think I have a round or two but maybe against the dummies. As much as I wanna be confident in myself, I don't think that I have that much power to contend with y-" Kenshi started but then got shocked when he saw All-Might deflate rather suddenly and the once skintight suit had now hung off of his shrunken body like a bad fitting suit on a kid.

"Well, If you were…It'll have to wait." All-Might finished and sighed as he wandered over to the bench. "I think I overdid it in previous classes and overshot my time with coming here…"

"The time limit…That's right." Kenshi thought as he decided to take five too. "Well, at least it's not completely bad, better doing it here then in the middle of teaching everyone." He said optimistically though he noted the lack of response from his mentor and realised this hit harder than just a matter of timing.

"I guess so…But may I be honest with you, Young Yoshiyasu?" All-Might asked with a hint of vulnerability in his voice, thankful when he saw the nod. "Back in my prime; I could take on dozens of villains at a time and be done by dinner…Now I struggle just to hold on and fight as many as I can in three hours." He said as he clenched his bony fists; "Time cut short because I got caught in a bad way and that took more away from me than just my stamina…I know that I'm supposed to be glad to have passed on the torch to a younger generation but…There is a small part of me that craves the chance to still be a Hero, to prove myself as a Symbol of Peace even though I don't have One For All anymore!"

Kenshi couldn't help but feel upset for All-Might; Being out in the countryside didn't diminish everything he heard about the Number One Hero's exploits, even in magazines was enough for him to consider as a figure to look up to, at least for people with a Quirk. "If I knew that it would make him feel this way, I could give One for All back to him…But what would that say when he entrusted this whole thing to me?" He thought to himself as he tried to find the right words to try reassuring All-Might however he hadn't expected to say this one phrase that could go either way. "What if I can help?"

"I…I beg your pardon, young Yoshiyasu?" All-Might asked as he was thrown for a loop; "I'm not sure I…Quite follow."

"Well, I've been thinking about this since I realised that I could, you know…imbue something with my energy to bring it to life." Kenshi explained as he was still unsure how or whether this would work or not. "If I can bring something to life by touching it…Maybe I can do the same with my Healing?"

All-Might blinked as he processed; It was one thing to be able to do what he did earlier, however this went far beyond something as simple as a training exercise. "That…Even for you that shouldn't be possible…Not that I doubt you, young Yoshiyasu but this is something that is too demanding for something like a Healing Quirk."

"But it can't hurt to try, can it?" Kenshi tried to insist as the idea started to sound more and more like a good idea, however he also lacked the understanding of what All-Might had told himself for years.

All-Might on the other hand was torn; Ever since his career changing injury, he had gone to every kind of doctor that he could think of and pulled in favours to try anything to fix the damage done to his internal organs. The fact that no one was able to help made it all but hopeless and the only thing that did even a little to help him stabilise was the treatment that David formulated, even though he could see nothing but a genuine, heartfelt desire to help…All-Might didn't want to get his hopes up. "Young man…It truly does reassure me that you want to help but I…I can't."

"But if it helps the improbable then even if it doesn't work, maybe that can be a good step forward in my abiliti-"

"Young Yoshiyasu!" All-Might stopped him with a hoarse voice, struggling to both keep a hold of his appreciation but at the same time, he didn't want to let this ruin anything if it didn't work. "This isn't a matter of being a Hero or training anymore…What happened to me was a long time ago, no doctors, Quirk…Not even Recovery Girl can permanently heal the damage that was done to me." He explained as he opened up. "It's not that I'm ungrateful for your offer, I am actually very thankful that you would do something like this for me…But I just…I don't want to raise my hopes just for it to fail again and then have you feel guilty in the process."

"Then I'll put everything I have into it." Kenshi stated resolutely and stood up. "I'll change that "I think I can" and turn it into an "I know I can" because that's what a Hero is meant to do, right?" He continued as he looked to the bands on his arms. "I don't know if I'll ever be able to use One for All in the same way that you or anyone before you could…But I intend to make sure that I can use the power that I have now to make even one person's life a little better, whether I'm a low ranking Hero or the Top Hero!"

All-Might was shocked into silence; There were rarely times that he saw a young Hero throw everything into helping someone and even less to do it with no chance of success or reward. "Young man…" He mumbled before looking down and clutching his stomach. "Alright…Let's see if it can change something." He finally decided that for once in a long time, he was going to place his faith in someone else rather than letting everyone rely on him.

Kenshi took a deep, steadying breath as he tried to focus on every kind of thought or correlation that sat in his mind about healing. "Okay, just take it easy…You're not performing brain surgery, you're just…going to use your Quirk that you know little about to heal someone's alleged irreparably damaged body and hyped yourself up big time….God, why did I think this was a good idea?!" He mentally screamed and walked over to All-Might.

"Alright, let's do this…" All-Might exhaled before lifting the top of his costume up to expose the twisted wound; "And if this doesn't work, Young Yoshiyasu…I won't hold it against you."

Kenshi put all his focus on healing thoughts as he tried to channel everything through to his hand; everything slowly faded away until the only thing that was there for him was himself and the wound he was attached to.

And then it all went blurry as Kenshi could see a faint light…

Followed by another…

And another…

Until his vision danced with starry lights that blinked out of his vision as fast as they appeared: Blues, whites, oranges and several other colours that moved so fast that it was like Kenshi had been staring into a strobe light without blinking.

Then the lights faded into black.

By the time that Kenshi could open his eyes again though his vision was blurry, he was currently laying in what looked like a bed; The stinging smell of sterile chemicals and the sound of rhythmic beeping suddenly clued him in on where he was.

"Did I…Did I dream all of this? Bakugo's explosion…Meeting All-Might and getting into UA? Was it all just some…fever dream?" Kenshi thought to himself as he could hear the muffled talking of someone behind a door and closed his eyes again when the bright lights stung them.

"So let me get this straight, the boy who's Quirk could smash a giant robot into junk and break nearly all of UA's Quirk assessment records has landed himself in my office because of…whatever this is?" Chiyo Shuzenji aka Recovery Girl grumbled as she opened up the door with both Nezu and Aizawa following along with her.

"Believe me, I'm not exactly sure what it was that happened…At least I can say that it was a good thing that All-Might was there to get him to the clinic as quick as he did." Aizawa mentioned as he turned to look at the supposedly sleeping Yoshiyasu. "Still, I wasn't exactly told on what happened but I'll need to drill All-Might on this later so we can understand the full story."

"You'll have no need to worry, Aizawa…Besides, you have your other students to look out for, don't you?" Nezu asked as he looked to the much taller teacher.

"Yeah, All-Might was quick enough to navigate around everyone to try and get Yoshiyasu to the clinic…But everyone's going to find out eventually so I'll wait until Problem Child over there is awake enough to explain to them." Aizawa explained as he left the room; "Make sure that he DOES tell you the truth…I'm not sure what exactly happened but if it has All-Might being cagey with the details then I think I should have the right to know the context, especially if it concerns a student." He added before shutting the door behind him.

"Honestly…" Recovery Girl sighed as she hopped up onto her chair and started tapping on the keyboard; "I know that All-Might chose this kid to be his successor and all, however I draw the line at him inadvertently causing one of his students to collapse whenever he uses his Quirk."

Nezu sat up on a visitor's chair and decided to wait until he could hear Aizawa was out of earshot; "We are in agreement on that…But All-Might did mention that our young friend here is a late bloomer in terms of his Quirk and still trying to figure it out for himself, I can excuse one or two incidents as a Quirk related hiccup but this definitely needs some questions answered."

A groan interrupted them as Nezu saw Kenshi start to stir and wake up. "Wh…What happened?" He asked groggily and flinched a little when he saw Recovery Girl shuffle over to him.

"You've managed to end up in the Infirmary, dear…All-Might said that you had collapsed and had a fit during your training class." Recovery Girl elaborated softly as she knew that something like this wasn't exactly easy to explain. "Do you remember what happened?"

"I…I was training with All-Might...And then I-Wait, is All-Might okay?!" Kenshi asked as he felt bits and pieces come back and suddenly felt the concern build.

"He's fine…A little spooked when you lost consciousness but other than that, he's just making a phone call while a nurse is checking him." Nezu explained as he looked to the boy before deciding to make his inquisitions; "So, Mr. Yoshiyasu…I'd like to know whether this is your Quirk or if this is One For All that's causing the hubbub with you and All-Might."

Kenshi instinctively felt his body stiffen and tried to prepare himself for an excuse he could draw on but then he remembered what All-Might said during his "Succession".

"The only people who know about the secret of One For All are the Principal, Recovery Girl and a few dear friends of mine, I will only advise you to exercise discretion when it comes to your time to decide who to tell."

"You know…About what All-Might entrusted to me." Kenshi asked and the subsequent relief washed over him as he saw the two nod. "Well…I don't really know why I can't use it…Everything else has just been through my own Quirk." Kenshi explained and started to go through what he had experienced when Aizawa left. "After that, I saw a bunch of flashing lights and then I woke up here."

"Has this ever happened before? Whether it was in or out of school grounds?" Nezu asked as he started to make tea for the three of them but kept an empty cup in case someone stopped by. "Because I'm certain that we're going to need to take more extensive notes since this now concerns your well-being."

Recovery Girl glanced to her screen as she saw the results of her test taking come through; "Well, the fact that this is the result of your Quirk answers some questions…but with One for All in the mix makes it inconclusive as to what brought this on, I'd say it's rather lucky that you were brought to me when you did."

"I can appreciate that you're still determining what your thresholds are and this is most likely a case of Quirk exhaustion by overdoing it." Nezu explained; "For now, I will say to just leave it at that but I need you to make a promise with me and Recovery Girl, young man."

Kenshi nodded as he got up from his chair; "Yes, what is it?" He asked as he mulled over what was said.

"Until we can fully determine the extent of your abilities plus what remains to be discovered, I want you to promise me that you won't use your powers for something like this unless you absolutely have to." Recovery Girl finished as she turned to face Kenshi with that same serious look; "Quirk Exhaustion is nothing to take lightly; You could put yourself in a weak position, injure yourself or worse."

"I promise…No more risk taking unsupervised, so what happens now?" Kenshi asked as he was still feeling a modicum of concern regarding All-Might and what happened.

"I've received a message from All-Might stating that he had to go meet with a specialist for his condition, so I imagine he will be there for a couple of weeks." Nezu explained as he pat Kenshi's hand; "If anyone asks then we can simply say that he is busy at his agency in the capital…No one is hardly going to question whether the Number One Hero is busy with Hero work."

"But what about the press? Wouldn't they jump at the chance to catch All-Might in action?" Kenshi asked curiously as he had noticed quite a few reporters were starting to crowd around the streets near UA ever since the news of his teaching spread.

"They do." Recovery Girl admitted as she handed a small gummy to Kenshi; "Which is why the government has the "Media/Pro-Hero Proximity" Policy when it comes to Hero duties…Now it's the end of school hours so get yourself home and rest."

Kenshi nodded though he felt a little disappointed; "I've lost half the day because I messed up with my Quirk?" He asked and was about to let the guilt grow but that stopped when he got a bonk on the head from Recovery Girl.

"There's no such thing as messing up when it comes to your Quirk." Recovery Girl points out as she then gestured to his chart. "You just need to keep practicing with it and taking proper precautions to ensure that you don't risk yourself and others."

Kenshi nodded as he swallowed down the gummy and headed out of the door; "Thank you for your help." He said to the two before closing it behind him and leaving the headmaster alone with Recovery Girl to take everything into consideration.

"It is rather odd…" The anthropomorphic headmaster mused to himself as he thought on the recent events. "Despite all of what Aizawa reported back to me about his scores in the Apprehension tests, Yoshiyasu is remarkably clumsy with his Quirk when push comes to shove…"

Recovery Girl nodded; "All-Might said he was a late-bloomer so I can't fault him for lacking in control, especially when most children tend to have more experience by the time they get to High School age." She remarked while looking at his chart. "But to add in the uncertainties of One for All on top of what he's still trying to handle on his own…Honestly Toshinori..."

"Hey kid, you go to UA, right?" A woman quizzed Kenshi with a microphone in hand as he adjusted his backpack; "What's it like to have the Number One Pro-Hero as one of your teachers?"

"I-Uh…" Kenshi stammered as he saw the crowd of people mobbing him and other students while on their way in to school. "He's great." He said to try giving something to work with but unfortunately for him, reporters tended to take more miles than a speeding car when they were given an inch.

"Hey, hold on! You gotta give us more than that!" The reporter continued as they tried to probe; "You got THE All-Might as a class teacher, most kids would kill for something like that!"

"GET THE DAMN MIKE OUT OF MY FACE BEFORE I USE THAT CAMERA FOR YOUR OWN COLONOSCOPY!"

This was probably the one and only times that Kenshi was ever thankful for Bakugo being the way that he was as he ducked into the crowd of students to get past them and through the gate. Luckily once every student had crossed the borders of the school; A large metal gate clamped shut and made their message very clear for anyone looking to push issues.
