The orb slowly moved aside, and a stone passage opened behind it. The walls shifted with a low grinding sound. The light inside the chamber dimmed, but the path ahead stayed visible.
Rhys raised his hand. "Stop. Everyone take a moment."
The team paused. Breathing steadied. No one rushed forward.

Lyra glanced down the passage. "So the temple stops teaching… and starts checking if we deserve to go further."
Caria rolled her shoulders and adjusted her grip on her sword. "If something attacks, I'll hold the front. Just say the word."
Rhys nodded. "Only defend if needed. This place reacts to intent. We don't want to look aggressive."
Puddle floated forward a little, light steady and calm. "Path safe… for now."
They stepped into the passage.
