A few days passed, and the big wrestling event was finally in Royal Woods. At least, the set up arrived. It was still early in the day, and the wrestling match would be later on.
Lincoln had gotten dressed for the day, the boy very much excited for the big event. He checked to make sure he had his ticket, which gave him a great view of the ring.
"This is going to be so great, I finally have a chance to just relax and enjoy myself," LIncoln said. "If I'm lucky that is."
Suddenly Lynn had kicked his door down, "Yo Lincoln! Ready for a brawl!?"
Lincoln furrowed his brow at his rowdy sister, "Ugh, Lynn! Don't just barge into my room! Suppose I wasn't dressed?"
"Pfft, like we've ever seen each other naked before," Lynn said. "You don't have anything I haven't seen yet."
"First off, not the point," Lincoln said. "Second, I could have something you haven't seen. Like...chest hair!"
"Oh gee, how could I have forgotten about all three of your chest hairs?" Lynn sarcastically quipped.
"It's still something!" Lincoln said.
"Whatever, just wanted to see if you were ready for the big fight," Lynn said. "Maybe seeing such a macho group will toughen you up."
"It's mostly just women wrestlers though," Lincoln said.
"Yeah, and they're way more macho than you," Lynn taunted. "Even I've got more testosterone than you have."
"You know, if it's bad for a boy to not be masculine, wouldn't it also be bad for a girl to not be feminine?" Lincoln asked.
"Pfft, being feminine is a waste of time," Lynn said. "Masculinity is where it's at."
"Geez, I figured becoming a cheerleader would help you embrace that feminine side to you," Lincoln said. "Honestly, I like that verion of you better. You can be tough and feminine you know."
"I prefer tough," Lynn said. "Check out Firestar, you think she'd be where she is now if she were feminine?"
"Since when are you a Firestar fan?" Lincoln asked.
"Hey, her powers are cool, the only lame thing about her is that she's friends with Spider-Man," Lynn insisted.
Lincoln facepalmed in annoyance, "Yeah, you would say that." He focused his attention on his sister, "Look, I just want to get ready for the show later. Ronnie Anne and Sid are going to be here soon as well, and I gotta talk to Stella about something."
"Is Stella coming?" Lynn asked.
"She might, her aunt and uncle are wrestlers, so they might make an appearance," Lincoln said. "Granted, their style is a bit different, so I don't know if they'll actually fight. Maybe Stella's aunt."
"Rumor is that they might offer an open challenge," Lynn said. "If that happens, you can bet that I'm taking that offer up. Royal Woods will see the return of The Brawl Monitor."
"That would be pretty cool actually," Lincoln said. "I always thought your Brawl Monitor persona was awesome. I bet you could be the greatest wrestler in the world one day."
"Oh...um..." Lynn awkwardly rubbed her head. She was not expecting such an honest compliment from her brother. "Well, duh, of course I am." Lynn straightened up, putting on a more confident act. "There isn't a sport that I can't do. Baseball, Lacrosse, Roller Derby, and even Wrestling. I can do it all."
"You're definitely ambitious," Lincoln said. "It's something I respect about you."
"You got ambition too, bro," Lynn said. "If there's one good quality that you have, it's that you're determined. Very few can match your persistence."
"Uh, wow, thanks Lynn," Lincoln said.
"Like seriously, you could fail a bunch of times and you never give up," Lynn continued.
"...Thanks?" Lincoln was unsure about this gratitude.
"Like seriously, you've even straight up embarrassed yourself and you still continue on," Lynn further stated. "The stuff you go through, most people would have just given up by now, but you just don't. Not sure if you're aware of how bad things get but-"
"Alright, thank you Lynn," Lincoln said, having had enough. "Now, I really need to get myself ready for later."
"Sure thing bro," Lynn said, then made her leave.
Lincoln sat on his bed, already feeling exasperated. "Lynn can be so weird sometimes. Still, at least she's excited too. This is one of the few things we can enjoy together. I just hope it goes well."
Not too long later, a few cars had pulled up in front of the Loud House. Stepping out were The Casagrande family, along with Lori and the Chang Sisters.
"Finally made it," Bobby said. "So, shall we pop in and greet the fam?"
"That's the plan," Lori said.
The big family rang the doorbell, to which Lynn Sr was the one who answered. "Hello, and welcome to...Lori!"
"Dad!" Lori embraced her father in a hug. "I've missed you."
"Oh same here, pumpkin!" An Emotional Lynn Sr said as he held his oldest child tightly. "You really need to visit more often. I know you're fine, but your mother tends to worry."
"I'll try dad," Lori said as she pulled away. "As you can see, I brought the entirety of The Casagrandes."
"Oh yes, here for the big wrestling show, right?" Lynn Sr asked.
"You bet," Hector said. "We've been waiting for months."
"Si, I am so eager to see La Tormenta in action," Frieda said. "Her style is so inspirational, especially for my artwork." She pulled out a canvas featuring the wrestling star. "I call it, The Hurricane of La Tormenta!"
"My, how invigorating," Lynn Sr said.
"Excuse me, Mr. Loud?" Ronnie Anne interjected. "Is Lincoln home?"
"He should be upstairs," Lynn Sr said.
"And The Twins?" Adelaide asked.
"Lana and Lola are upstairs too, sweetheart," Lynn Sr said.
"Thanks!" Adelaide said, the girl rushing into the house.
"Adelaide, wait up!" Sid said, following her sister while Ronnie Anne followed both girls.
"Well, come on in and make yourselves at home," Lynn Sr said. "I have some food cooking in the kitchen."
"Oh you do?" Rosa asked as she made her way into that part of the house. "Oh, it smells good, but it could use a few kicks to the recipe."
"Uh, what type of kicks exactly?" Lynn Sr asked, following the older woman in.
Carlota made her way to the stairs, "I'm gonna go check on Leni."
"Oh, I should too," Lori said. "Come on Bobby."
"Right behind you, babe," Bobby said, following his girlfriend.
In his room, while Lincoln was sitting on his bed and texting Stella and Christina, he heard his door knocking. "Come in!'
Ronnie Anne took the invitation to enter the room, greeting Lincoln upon doing so, "Yo Lame-O!"
"Oh, Ronnie Anne, Sid, figured it'd be you two," Lincoln said. "You actually knocked before entering."
"That's us, super courteous," Sid said as she and Ronnie Anne each sat on different sides to Lincoln on his bed. "So, big event tonight."
"Super big," Lincoln said. "Really excited to see La Tormenta."
"Aren't we all?" Ronnie Anne asked. "She's definitely going to kick ass. Sid and I are all for it."
"I heard tonight there might be some open challenges," Lincoln said. "Think anyone will take it?"
"Probably, there's always going to be some poser who thinks he can fight," Ronnie Anne said. "Half the fun is seeing the ego knocked down a peg."
"I guess, I'm just wondering if it might be anyone we know," Lincoln said.
"Why? Worried that Lynn might go for it?" Ronnie Anne asked. "She has wrestling experience, doesn't she?"
"Yeah, against amateurs," Lincoln said. "I don't want her getting hurt against professionals."
"Lynn's tough, she'll be fine," Ronnie Anne said.
"One of our classmates from Great Lakes is coming too though," Sid said. "Her name's Becky, and she's a big wrestling fan. So she might take up that challenge."
"Becky? Sounds familiar," Lincoln said. "Though I could be confusing that name with one of my sisters' friends."
"Oh yeah, Becky is a common name," Sid said. "It's not like any of us with unique names."
"Uh, Sid?" Ronnie Anne said. "Your name is very common."
"Yeah, for guys," Sid said. "How many girls do you know are called 'Sid'?"
"I personally don't know another 'Sid', but it's still a common thing to call a girl named 'Sidney'," Ronnie Anne said.
"I'll believe it when I hear it," Sid said.
Ronnie Anne shrugged it off, "Fine, whatever you say, Sid."
"Oh, you know who should take the open challenge?" Sid asked. "Spider-Man!"
"That would be cool," Ronnie Anne said.
"Uh...that may not be a good idea," Lincoln said. "He has powers, wouldn't that be cheating?"
"Hey, if he's a mutant, then those powers are a natural part of him," Sid said. "Complaining about his powers is like complaining that one guy is just naturally faster than the other."
"That seems excessive," Lincoln said. "Anyway, Spider-Man may not actually be there, he has to patrol Royal Woods."
"You got a point," Ronnie Anne said. "I heard he did something big recently."
"Yeah, he stopped some gang from selling alien weapons," Lincoln said.
"Oh yeah...geez how'd those guys get alien weapons?" Sid asked.
"I wish I knew," Lincoln said. "That's a scary thing to think about. Crooks like that are getting such dangerous technology."
"If things got bad, you think The Avengers would have come to Royal Woods?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"I hope so," Lincoln said, the boy now worried about his own capabilities as a hero.
"Well I hope that alien thing is done with, otherwise it could reach Great Lakes," Sid said. "Thankfully our town is pretty peaceful, save for that Lizard incident."
"Oh yeah, everyone was worried about you two," Lincoln said. "But at least it turned out alright."
"Yeah, good thing that Spider-Man just happened to come to Great Lakes," Ronnie Anne said, glancing at Lincoln almost suspiciously.
"Well, I think he caught wind of some stuff, so he decided he should go to Great Lakes and be a hero there," Lincoln said.
"Spider-Man was very friendly up close," Sid said. "The way he spoke felt so familiar too."
"Familiar huh?" Lincoln nervously asked. "That's great."
Ronnie Anne rubbed her chin, still remembering the tape she saw recently. "So, Lincoln. I've been meaning to ask. How have you been since passing out at the zoo a few weeks back?"
"Huh?" Lincoln asked. It took him a second to understand what Ronnie Anne meant. "Oh right, yeah that was weird. But I'm fine, nothing to worry about."
"That's good," Ronnie Anne said. "Still, for you to pass out, what could have happened?"
"I just got light headed, that's all," Lincoln said.
"Didn't you run a fever?" Sid asked.
"Uh...well...I guess my body just had an overreaction," Lincoln said.
"Huh? How does that happen?" Ronnie Anne asked.
Lincoln grew increasingly nervous, trying to figure out how to free himself from this topic. Fortunately for him, he heard his phone going off. "Uh, I gotta take this."
The boy ran out the room, leaving the girls behind for a moment.
"So...wanna search through his stuff?" Sid asked.
"Huh? No!" Ronnie Anne said. "Why would you want to?"
"To see if he's hiding anything," Sid said.
"That's a terrible idea," Ronnie Anne said.
"Hey, you're the one wondering if he has any connection to Spider-Man," Sid said.
"All I did was ask about him fainting, that's all," Ronnie Anne said.
"But the video," Sid said.
"Sid, it's Lincoln, him being connected to Spider-Man is a bit hard to believe," Ronnie Anne said.
"Don't you want to know his identity?" Sid asked.
"I do but..." Ronnie Anne shook it off. "Let's just forget about it for now."
Sid shrugged it off, "If you say so."
Outside, Lincoln was speaking in a hushed tone to Stella. "Ronnie Anne and Sid are here, they're coming with my family to the wrestling show."
"That's great, hopefully I'll have time to see them," Stella said.
"They're spending the night, so if you don't see them today, there's always tomorrow," Lincoln said. "Anyway, you, me and Christina have some planning to do."
"Right, try to meet us in the base, assuming you can get away from Sid and Ronnie Anne for a moment," Stella said.
"I'll come up with something," Lincoln said. "Talk to you soon."
"Bye," Stella said, then hung up.
Lincoln placed his phone away, but just as he turned around, he came face to face with Lana, the girl's presence startling him. "Oh come on Lana! I get enough of that from Lucy!"
"Sorry, I meant to get your attention sooner than I did," Lana said.
"Do you need something?" Lincoln asked.
"I overheard you talking to Stella, given that we're all going to a wrestling event tonight, how are you going to skimp on your...other duties?" Lana asked.
"I'll just ask Christina to cover for me," Lincoln said. "Right now I gotta see Stella, that means trying to get away from Sid and Ronnie Anne."
"I think I know how to do that," Lana said. "Follow my lead."
A couple of minutes later, while Sid and Ronnie Anne waited in the room, they heard the doorknob turning, the two turning to see Lana arriving. "Hey, Sid? Ronnie? I think Adelaide wants to see you two."
"What does she want?" Sid asked.
"She has a fun story to tell to me and Lana, and wants you there to verify it," Lana said. "Mainly since Lola may not believe her otherwise."
"She seriously wants us to sit in a room while listening to one of her bogus stories?" Sid asked. "No way, that's dumb. Besides, we're hanging out with Lincoln."
"Oh he left," Lana said. "Lola made him go out and buy some cookies. He won't be back until later."
"Wow, seriously?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"Lincoln does not ever tell Lola 'no' to something," Lana said. "So yeah, I'm being very serious right now. And so is Adelaide."
"Ugh, alright fine," Sid said. "Just for a bit."
"It shouldn't take too long," Lana said.
Outside while the plan in the house was working, Lincoln booked it to the park. "Really glad Lana's able to help out. I just hope Sid and Ronnie Anne don't get too bored."
While in her trailer, La Tigressa looked over the strange vial that Miles Warren had given her. She was definitely curious about what this power could do for her, but she also had some reserves.
"This could restore my honor, I'd be crazy not to use it," La Tigressa said to herself. "But, would it be considered cheating?"
Despite her hesitation, her desire to win and reign supreme started to cloud her mind, and curiosity began to rise.
"You know what, why shouldn't I do this?" La Tigressa asked. "I bet there's tons of those so-called superheroes who take these kinds of things! No one gets superpowers that easily! If I have a chance to have a better life, then I owe it to myself to try!"
Despite her claims, she still had some reserves.
"Still...can I even trust that guy?" La Tigressa wondered. "Or am I going to regret it?"
A bit later, Lincoln had arrived at the Superhero Base, where both Stella and Christina were seen waiting, the former reading a technology magazine, the latter listening to music through her headphones.
"Hey girls," Lincoln greeted, getting the attention of the two.
"Oh good, you made it," Stella said, with Christina noticing Lincoln as well. "Was it hard getting away from Ronnie Anne and Sid?"
"Lana covered for me," Lincoln explained. "It won't last too long though, so let's make our plans quickly."
"It shouldn't take long," Stella said. "So obviously with this wrestling event you're going to, you're going to be focused on that, and not your superhero work."
"Yeah...that's not bad, is it?" Lincoln asked.
"I don't think it is, you did earn yourself a break after all," Stella said.
"Like I've said, if you need time away from being Spider-Man, I can step in with no problem," Christina said.
"Thanks, I'll try to do a quick patrol if I can today," Lincoln said.
"Don't worry about it, just hang out with Ronnie Anne and Sid," Stella said. "Christina and I can handle things here."
"That's great," Lincoln said.
"I might swing by the show though, my aunt and uncle plan on being there," Stella said.
"So they are coming huh?" Lincoln asked. "Are they fighting too?"
"Probably, I think my aunt wants a shot at La Tormenta," Stella said. "Which she may not get since Princess Valentina is fighting her, but my aunt may try something."
"It'd be amazing if she did," Lincoln said. "I think Lynn wants to fight as well."
"Isn't she only fifteen?" Christina asked. "Isn't there a minimum age requirement?"
"Well she has experience as a wrestler," Lincoln said. "She was The Brawl Monitor for a while. Her opinion on wrestling did sour a bit after that fiasco, but she's still got some interest."
"I just hope if she does fight, she knows what she's doing," Stella said.
"It should be fine," Lincoln said. "Okay, let's get down to planning for tonight."
While Lincoln handled that with his friends, both Ronnie Anne and Sid had managed to get away from the Loud House for a bit, finally free of the girls.
"I can't believe Lincoln ditched us like that," Ronnie Anne said. "He's not a very good host, is he?"
"Well Lana did say that Lola sent him out, so it's not like he had much choice," Sid said.
"Whatever, I need a burger," Ronnie Anne said, gesturing to a nearby restaurant. "To the Burpin' Burger we go!"
"Oh cool! Suburban Fast Food!" Sid said. "Maybe it's me, but Fast Food from the suburbs just hits differently."
"Guess it depends," Ronnie Anne said as the two went inside.
As they went to find a seat, Sid was quick to spot someone very familiar to the girls. "Ronnie Anne, look!"
Ronnie Anne turned toward where Sid was pointing, and to her surprise, it was an old tenant at her building, Blanca Guzman. However, she and Sid knew her by one more name.
"La Tormenta?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"Careful, there's people around," Sid said. "We don't want to give away her secret identity."
"Right, we don't," Ronnie Anne said. "We should leave then and let her enjoy some time to herself."
Before the two could leave, Blanca noticed the girls and waved them over, "Oh girls! Fancy seeing you here!"
"Uh...so much for leaving," Sid said. "I'm surprised she even remembered us."
"Well we did nearly ruin her career," Ronnie Anne said.
"Oh yeah..." Sid cleared her throat and waved to the woman. "Hey Blanca! It's been a while."
"Didn't expect to see you two in Royal Woods," Blanca said as the girls came over. "But I think I have an idea as to why you're in town."
"You bet," Ronnie Anne said, taking a seat at the table with Sid next to her. "The two of us are pretty excited for what to expect later."
"I'm glad, it's going to be a great show," Blanca said. "How have you girls been doing?"
"We've been doing great," Sid said. "Life's been typical for us. School, chores, hanging out with friends, the usual."
"I heard there was trouble at Great Lakes recently," Blanca said. "Something about a giant reptile."
"You mean The Lizard?" Sid asked. "Yeah that was a weird time, but it's fine since Spider-Man handled it."
"Spider-Man, I've heard a lot about him," Blanca said. "A young and rising hero."
"We've actually talked to him, he's really nice," Ronnie Anne said.
"He's part of the reason we're in town today, obviously not related to the other reason, but we'll make the best of the situation," Sid said.
"Ah, I see, so you've come to see your favorite superhero?" Blanca asked.
"Well Sid is, I like Spider-Man but I'm more interested in the event tonight," Ronnie Anne said.
"Huh? You're so interested in Spider-Man," Sid said. "You're the one who has suspicions about his secret identity."
"Secret Identity?" Blanca asked, the woman narrowing her eyes at the girls. "You're not planning anything sneaky, are you?"
"Who? Us?" Sid asked. "What makes you say that?"
"Remember what I said to you girls," Blanca reminded. "We agreed that if I forgave you for what you did in my apartment, you wouldn't meddle in anyone's life. This goes beyond Lucahor stuff, this boy fights crime and dangerous villains. If his identity is secret, then it's for a reason. It's not about preserving honor, it's about safety."
"Yeah, we know," Ronnie Anne said.
"Furthermore, he probably wants his personal life private from his superhero stuff," Blanca said. "You girls need to be respectful of that."
"Yeah, you're right," Sid said. "Sorry about that."
"Yeah, sorry," Ronnie Anne added. "We won't bug Spider-Man or try to figure out who he is."
"Good to hear," Blanca said.
"So, moving on from that, how are you liking Royal Woods so far?" Ronnie Anne asked. "This used to be my hometown, and I do like coming here, it feels nostalgic."
"Oh, so you lived here? That's nice," Blanca said. "I like this place, it's nice and quiet."
"Aside from all the crooks lately," Sid said. "But it's still a nice place."
"Do you have any family here?" Blanca asked.
"No, they all live in Royal Woods," Ronnie Anne said.
"Her best friend lives here," Sid said. "A boy named Lincoln Loud."
"Best friend? That's cute," Blanca asked. "It's great that you still keep in touch."
"Yeah, Sid and I are having a sleepover at his house," Ronnie Anne said.
"My sister's going to be there too, so she can hang out with some of Lincoln's sisters," Sid said. "Would you believe me if I told you that Lincoln has ten sisters?"
"Wow? Ten sisters? That's a lot of family," Blanca said. "Is it just sisters?"
"Yeah, no brothers," Ronnie Anne said. "Poor kid is surrounded by estrogen. It's a big reason why he liked hanging out with my big brother at one point."
"Boys sometimes just need to hang out with other boys," Blanca said. "Just like girls need to just be with other girls. This boy sounds nice though."
"He is, so nice that Ronnie Anne's family wants her to marry him one day," Sid said, much to Ronnie Anne's irritation.
"Sid!" Ronnie Anne scolded, a slight blush appearing on her face as a result of her friend's blabber.
Blanca stared in disbelief for a second, before giggling at the thought of Ronnie Anne's family trying to play matchmaker for her. "Married? Wow Ronnie Anne, you must have quite the supportive family."
"It's embarrassing, I like Lincoln, but not that way," Ronnie Anne insisted. "We're friends, simple as that. Besides even if I did like him, I live in Great Lakes, and he can't handle long distance."
"Are you sure about that?" Blanca asked.
"He broke up with his last girlfriend after she moved," Ronnie Anne said.
"Didn't she break it off with him?" Sid asked.
"I don't know the details, it was a very sensitive thing that happened and I don't think we should bug Lincoln about it that much," Ronnie Anne said. "Not that it matters, Lincoln and I are not going to date."
"That's a shame since you and Lincoln would look super cute together," Sid said. "And, if you're not careful, another girl might just swoop in and take Lincoln for herself."
"Fine by me," Ronnie Anne said. "Hell you could have him if you want to yourself, Sid."
"Who? Me?" Sid began to entertain the idea of dating Lincoln, with a blush appearing on her face now. "Oh I couldn't possibly date Lincoln. He's out of my league."
"Sid, it's Lincoln, most girls are out of his league," Ronnie Anne said.
"To be fair, he had two girlfriends in a short period of time," Sid said.
"Two?" Blanca asked. "Wait, is this boy actually nice? He's not just playing with girls' hearts?"
"No way, Lincoln wouldn't do something that scummy," Ronnie Anne said. "The first girl had to break up with him because while he liked her, he was so busy with school and stuff that he didn't have the time he would have liked for her."
"The second girl broke up with him because of some unfortunate incident that happened on Halloween," Sid said. "But Lincoln did care a lot about those girls."
"I promise you he's a nice guy," Ronnie Anne said. "Don't take the girlfriend thing out of context. With so many sisters, he definitely has a better idea of how to treat a lady."
"As long as he's not some player," Blanca said. "I never respected guys like that."
"He's cool, you can trust me on that," Ronnie Anne said. "Anyway, let's move on from this. No more Spider-Man, and no more Lincoln."
"Yeah, I just want a burger," Sid said. "A nice, suburban burger."
"Ask and you shall receive," Blanca said, then called over a waiter. "Hey, I got two new guests ready to order!"
Despite everything, Ronnie Anne couldn't help but think about Lincoln, "I wonder how the Lame-O is doing regarding this crap with Jordan?"
At her home, Lori was seen in the backyard talking with Bobby, Leni and Carlota. The girl looked happy to be back home, even if for a bit. Happy as she was in Great Lakes, she did miss Royal Woods, and feels at peace whenever she's back in her hometown.
Well as peaceful as a chaotic house of siblings gets. But sometimes even Lori misses that chaos.
It wasn't just them, as some school friends like Becky, Chaz, Joey and Dana were also present, seeing their old friend once again. Gavin, Fiona, Miguel, Mandee and Jackie were also invited to spend time with everyone.
"It's so great being back here," Lori said. "I wish I could come by more often, but three hour drives are not the easiest things to do."
"We're glad you made an effort," Becky said. "To think you'd go on to be a city girl, Lori."
"It was not part of my plans in life, but that's the fun of it all," Lori said.
"Are you going to stay in Great Lakes, or come back to Royal Woods after you graduate college?" Dana asked.
"I haven't thought too much about it, but I do know that Bobby wants to inherit his grandfather's Bodega," Lori said.
"Plans can change, if anything I can open a Bodega here in Royal Woods," Bobby said. "Ronnie Anne or one of the cousins can take the Bodega."
"I don't want it," Carlota said. "Carl might though."
"So it works out," Bobby said. "Carl gets what he wants and I'm happy here."
"It'd be awesome if you two came back," Dana said. "It'd be like getting the gang back together."
"Bigger and better than before too," Leni said. "What about you Lori? What will you do when Bobby starts his Bodega?"
"That's easy, I'll be helping him run it," Lori said. "I'll handle the business and the marketing."
"Marketing?" Becky asked. "Like commercials and stuff?"
"That, and it will be another part of my career," Lori said. "I figured that when I turn into a Pro Golfer, I can use my fame and money to help fund Bobby's Bodega. Then when I retire from Golf, I can handle more of the business aspect and literally grow our business beyond just one store. We could have an entire food chain."
"And we can be business partners," Chaz suggested.
"Uh, sure, there's probably ways for you to fit in," Lori said.
"He's gotta be joking, I don't think any of us are a good fit," Becky said.
"Besides, you want to be careful with nepotism," Miguel said. "When you're in charge, hiring friends is never really a good idea."
"Pfft, aren't you the one who says that if any of us start our own fashion business, that you, me and Leni would be in it together?" Fiona asked.
"That's different, we're already co-workers," Miguel said. "Logically speaking, it's a good employment strategy to work with those you're already close with business wise."
"Can't argue with that logic," Jackie said.
"Call me if you do start something," Carlota said. "I have a very popular streaming show about fashion after all, I can bring in big numbers for you with my viewers."
"Sounds great, I'll keep you in mind for sure," Miguel said.
"Well, I have time to figure out the finer details," Lori said. "Things are going well for me so far in school anyway. Classes aren't easy but I'm getting by."
"Lucky you, college sucks for me," Chaz said.
"Same, most of it feels like stuff I'm never going to use in life," Becky said. "So why bother?"
"You'll be fine, just push through," Bobby said. "Think of all the benefits you'll get when you finally earn your degree."
"Depends on the degree too," Fiona said. "Me, Leni and Miguel are just focused on finishing Community College, which is shorter. We already have good job experince from our store, all we need to do is take that experience and make it big."
"Has Luna figured out a college she wants to go to?" Jackie asked.
"I think she just wants to go local," Leni said. "She's not interested in a University, unless she can get a degree in Rock and Roll."
"Is that possible?" Mandee asked.
"I don't know," Leni shrugged. "If there's a Clown College like Luan wants to go to, then there might be a Rock and Roll college."
"I think Music Colleges exist," Dana said. "She can learn about all types of music production there. I think she'll enjoy that."
"That's the big thing," Lori said. "If you're going to go to college, it needs to be a place where you'll feel comfortable in succeeding. If you go just anywhere for some random degree, it's literally going to suck."
"Exactly, all of the other Loud sisters just need to find a college that fits their needs," Bobby said. "Take Lana, I bet when she gets older, she'll want to go to plumbing school."
"That does sound like something Lana would enjoy," Leni said.
"The big problem though is that she has to take a bunch of unrelated classes," Chaz said. "Like what for? We just want the one thing."
"That's always the downside," Joey said.
"We could try a Trade School," Jackie said. "Not sure how much it will work out."
"Who knows?" Becky said. "But honestly, this is kind of boring. We're back together and we're talking about college? I thought the point of the weekend was to forget about school?"
"Well I literally live in the dorms, so I can't forget about my school," Lori said.
"I thought you lived with Bobby?" Chaz asked.
"There's that too, when I'm off for break, if I don't come here, I stay with Bobby," Lori explained.
"I drive to the school, it's easier than paying money for a dorm room," Bobby said.
"Hey my dad can always try to get you a discount if it's too much trouble to drive," Carlota said.
"I'm fine, thanks," Bobby said.
"Always good to have connections," Gavin said. "It comes with good options."
"Totally," Mandee said.
"Speaking of college, and this is the last I will say on the subject, for Becky's sake," Dana said, earning an annoyed glare from her friend. "I heard that Lincoln already picked out a school."
"He did," Leni said. "He's going to New York City University," Leni said. "He's going to major in Astronomy."
"Wow, all the way in New York?" Becky asked. "That's far."
"It is, but he's determined to get there," Leni said. "He's a Straight A Student, so he shouldn't have too much trouble getting a scholarship."
"I just hope they don't expect him to do sports too," Miguel said.
"Ooh, I hope not, he's not athletic," Leni said. "But, do video games count as a sport? He can get in with that too."
"ESports are pretty big nowadays," Dana said. "So maybe."
"Geez, as kids we were told that video games would get us nowhere," Chaz said. "Now you can win like a million dollars from tournaments and stuff."
"I'm just happy that Linky can show off some of his talents and be rewarded for it, rather than shamed," Leni said. "I remember when my sisters used to shame him for liking Superheroes, now they're super popular."
"Hey, you shamed him too," Lori said.
"No I didn't, I would never shame Linky for anything," Leni said.
"You used to tell him that video games would rot his brain," Lori said.
"I only said that out of concern," Leni said. "Turns out video games are harder than they look, and Linky's smart to figure out some of the puzzles."
"Especially in JRPGs," Dana said. "He even gave me tips. They worked out so well."
"Well what about the time we were looking for that large stash of money?" Lori said. "You were kind of mean there."
"I don't remember being mean," Leni said.
"Well I do," Lori said. "And don't forget about the Sister Fight Protocol."
"Hey! That started because of you, not me!" Leni said. "You knew I wanted that dress!"
"Hey, I saw the dress first!" Lori said. "I'm the oldest, thus I get first dibs."
"Being the oldest doesn't get you everything, Lori," Leni said.
"Hey, enough," Bobby said. "No fighting over this, that day wasn't easy for me either. Delivering pizza to your parents was like walking through a minefield."
"Besides, it was years ago," Dana said. "Let it stay in the past."
"Must have been bad though," Gavin said.
"It was, I remember how tense things were afterwards," Becky said.
"Lincoln made things worse by trying to get involved," Lori said. "He meant well, and he usually is good at mediating when he needs to. That time, he was off his game."
"Well you did kind of use his room without his permission," Bobby said, then earned a glare from his girlfriend. "What? It's true!"
"He's not wrong, we told him to stay out of it but we did make things inconvenient for him," Leni said. "I would have been confused too."
"Well at least since then, he's learned not to meddle," Lori said. "So it worked out."
"Well, I like that he tries to help, it shows just how nice of a boy he is," Leni said. "Looking up to superheroes probably brings out the kindness in him."
"Wondering if the superheroes are the reason he wants to go to New York in the first place?" FIona theorized. "He says he wants to attend school, but he more than anything probably wants an autograph from The Avengers."
"That's fine, Lincoln should meet his personal heroes," Leni said. "If we're lucky, we can meet them too. They seem nice."
"I wanna meet Thor," Becky said as a blush appeared on her face. "And his muscles."
"Oh me too," Dana said.
"Same," Jackie said.
"Kind of curious myself," Miguel admitted.
"Thor's overrated," Chaz said. "All he does is swing a hammer."
"Tch, you're just jealous that you don't look like Thor," Joey teased.
"Put a sock in it," Chaz said.
"Hey it's true," Becky said. "He's got long, flowing, blonde hair."
"And lightning powers," Jackie said.
"And a Hammer that only those worthy can wield," Dana said.
"How do you know the last part?" Bobby asked.
"It's part of Norse Mythology," Dana clarified.
"Honestly, it'd be a shame if Lincoln went to New York," Carlota said. "He'd be even further away from all of you."
"Well, yeah that's true," Lori said.
"I would miss him, but I want him to be happy," Leni said. "Contrary to what Lori might think, Lincoln's precious to me."
"Hey! He's precious to me too!" Lori snapped back. "Just because we fight, doesn't mean I don't love him!"
"Girls, please," Bobby said. "Just accept that even if both of you had disagreements, you both care about your little brother. I don't always get along with Ronnie Anne, but we're still there for each other."
"Same with me and my brothers," Carlota said. "And they're annoying as hell sometimes. Especially Carl."
"My little brother's a pain sometimes, but he's also really sweet too," Jackie said. "I'd miss him if he went away to college. That's years away since he's still young but still."
"Missing Lincoln is one thing though," Carlota said. "The other thing is that now he's going to be further away from Ronnie Anne."
"Huh?" Lori asked. "What does that mean?"
"Think girl, they're already in different cities that are three hours apart," Carlota said. "Once Lincoln moves to New York, it will be that much harder to maintain a relationship. New York is pretty far from where we live."
"...Oh crap, you're right!" Lori said. "How are Lincoln and Ronnie Anne going to hook up now?"
"Again with this, Lori?" Leni asked. "Why are you so worried about Lincoln being with Ronnie Anne? He's got plenty of options here. He's already had two girlfriends."
"Within the span of two months too," Bobby said.
"How?" Chaz asked. "No offense to the little guy, but how did he get two girlfriends in such a short amount of time?"
"Well, he's very cute, and girls like that," Leni said. "He's also sweet and sensitive. Me and the sisters did a great job making him lovable."
"Too lovable, he's going to miss his chance to be with Ronnie Anne," Lori said.
"Lori, you know our sisters hate when you act like this," Leni said. "Like it or not, Lincoln may not hook up with Ronnie Anne. Like I said, he has options."
"Yeah, like Stella," Jackie said. "She's really cute, and she's great at Arcade Games. Lincoln loves video games, so a girl that plays them is definitely going to be attractive to him."
"Doesn't Ronnie Anne play video games?" Lori pointed out.
"Yeah, with Sid, they both enjoy playing video games together," Bobby said, earning himself a glare from Lori. "What? What did I say?"
"Lincoln and Stella are just friends," Lori said. "He told me himself that she's not interested in a boyfriend."
"Things change, girl," Mandee said. "I've seen the two at Gus's. They have a special chemistry, and in time, they just might fall in love."
"Which is fine, because Stella is a nice girl," Leni said. "Lana likes her too."
"Hey, our sisters like Ronnie Anne too, don't they?" Lori asked.
"Well yeah, but Stella's grown on us," Leni said. "Not that it matters, in the end it's Lincoln's choice. So long as he's dating a nice girl, then we need to respect that."
"What if he likes boys?" Chaz asked, earning himself a glare from the others. "I'm just asking."
"Linky only likes girls," Leni said. "I should know, because Lynn told him he was acting gay once, and I don't think he liked it because he tried acting differently right aferwards."
"Plus, I've seen him looking at those underwear model magazines in our store," Fiona said. "That kid was drooling like Niagra Falls."
"I also caught him watching a pornographic video with two girls once," Lori said. "Literally with his pants down."
"Uh, that sounds awkward," Mandee said.
"Boys will be boys, it's normal," Jackie said. "They see two women doing that, and it makes them curious."
"Did you happen to catch the name of that website he used?" Chaz asked, earning more glares. "What!?"
"There's nothing wrong with him being gay though, is there?" Miguel asked.
"Of course not, but that's not what Lincoln is," Lori said.
"Yeah, true. No one wants to be called something they're not," Miguel said. "But honestly, do kids still use that as an insult?"
"Don't worry about Lynn, she's just a pain," Leni said.
"Some things just don't change," MIguel commented. "Oh well, no use letting the negatives outweigh the positives."
"Lori, just let Lincoln like whoever he wants, his happiness matters too," Dana said.
"I know, but I still say he'd be happy with Ronnie Anne," Lori said.
"Honestly babe, it's not worth fighting over," Bobby said. "Ronnie Anne couldn't handle long distance either. She's also not interested in dating right now."
"...Ugh, I still don't want to give up that easily," Lori said.
"Babe, it's not worth it, just give it a rest," Bobby said. "Besides, do you want Lincoln experiencing first hand what you recently did?"
"...Fine..." Lori lamented, though still not quite ready to quit regardless.
"Is everything alright, Lori?" Leni asked.
"Yeah, just some minor mishap," Lori said. "Don't worry about it, let's just move on. Anyone got something interesting to share?"
"Well, speaking of romance, did you hear about what happened at my college?" Dana asked. "It's spicy."
"Talk to us," Mandee said as Dana began to tell her story.
The arena in which the show would be taking place started to gather, with fans lining up and ready for what they hoped would be a good show.
Among them were the duo of a Younger Becky, as well as Artemis, two kids from Great Lakes, and classmates in Ronnie Anne's school.
"Finally! The day has come!" Becky cheered. "Oh how I've longed to see this coming fight! It's going to be beyond Epic! La Tormenta vs Princess Valetina!"
"Should be great..." Artemis said, the boy looking around.
"What's up?" Becky asked.
"Ronnie Anne is supposed to be here, isn't she?" Artemis asked.
"You'll see her soon," Becky said. "I just want to get our seats."
"Yeah, sure," Artemis said, still looking around.
As the two navigated around the arena, they bumped into the duo of Clyde and Chloe, who were on their way into the arena as well.
"Hey sorry about..." Becky took one look at Clyde, a look of admiration appearing on her face. "Whoa..."
"Sorry about that, I wasn't looking where I was going," Clyde said.
"Oh, that's no problem," Becky said, giggling a bit. "We're from out of town, so we're a little lost."
"Out of town huh? Makes sense," Clyde said. "What city?"
"Great Lakes," Becky said.
"Wow really? Someone I know lives in Great Lakes," Clyde said.
"Is her name Ronnie Anne Santiago?" Artemis asked.
"Wow, good guess," Clyde said.
"Well we know she comes from Royal Woods, so it was the safest best," Artemis said. "How well do you know her?"
"Not too well, I just went to the same school as her," Clyde said. "If anything I've had more run-ins with her brother than Ronnie Anne herself."
"Our friend Lincoln's closer with Ronnie Anne," Chloe explained.
"Oh, so you know Lincoln Loud?" Artemis asked.
"Yeah, you could say that," Clyde replied, a bit too nonchalant for Chloe's liking.
"Yes, we know Lincoln, he's a good friend of ours," Chloe said.
"Um, how close is Lincoln with Ronnie Anne, if I may ask?" Artemis asked, earning a curious glance from Becky.
"I never knew Ronnie Anne that well, but Lincoln has talked about her quite a bit," Chloe said.
"Things are complicated between them," Clyde said. "For a while, no one could tell if the two were dating or not."
"D-d-dating!?" Artemis asked in disbelief.
"Ronnie Anne would insist that she and Lincoln weren't dating," Clyde said. "But she's also protective of him and can really be...like, it's hard to say with her. She's just unpredictable."
"Sure sounds like the Ronnie Anne we know," Becky said.
"As for Lincoln, he says he doesn't feel anything for her," Clyde said. "But, he isn't the most honest guy in the world."
"Clyde!" Chloe scolded, then focused on the two tourists. "If Lincoln says he wasn't dating her, then he wasn't. He definitely isn't now considering he's had a girlfriend recently."
"Had?" Artemis asked. "So...they broke up?"
"I suppose the usage of past tense should make that obvious," Chloe said. "I don't want to get too deep into the details since it's personal for Lincoln, and for anyone he's dated."
"So, what are the odds of him dating Ronnie Anne?" Artemis asked.
"If you're trying to set the two up, don't bother," Chloe said. "Lincoln's not interested in dating."
"Oh, I wasn't going to do that at all, I was just curious," Artemis said.
"How do you two know Lincoln so well?" Becky asked.
"Clyde here has known Lincoln for eight years," Chloe explained while gesturing to Clyde. "They're best friends who are always there for each other." She glanced right at him, "And are always there for each other, no matter what."
"Wow, you two must be right," Becky said.
"Yeah...maybe," Clyde said, sadly looking to the side.
Chloe groaned in annoyance, "Never mind that, point is Lincoln is a friend of ours, and he's a good kid."
"I don't doubt it," Becky said. "I've seen him once or twice at Great Lakes. He's mostly hanging out with Ronnie Anne and Sid, but he seems like a cool friend to have."
"Well, speaking of friends, Clyde and I were going to meet with some of them," Chloe said. "Wanna join?"
"Oh definitely," Becky said, getting in close to Clyde. "Mind giving me a tour?"
"Uh..." Clyde began sweating nervously at how close Becky was to him. "Sure."
Chloe furrowed her brow as she led the way, "Come on, Rusty, Liam and Emma are waiting."
Within the arena, The Louds were making their way along the front row, joined by The Casagrandes and their guests.
"Wow, these are amazing seats!" Bobby said.
"Yeah, we really lucked out," Lana said. "Maybe we'll be lucky enough to get hit by teeth."
"How is that lucky?" Lisa asked. "Honestly I shouldn't even be here. Otto's still in town and-"
"Oh lighten up Lisa," Lola said. "Take time to enjoy yourself."
"I fail to see how being in observation of vicious brutes fighting each other is enjoyable in any way," Lisa said.
"It just takes a lot of getting used to," Leni said. "Easier when you appreciate the fashion, and the drama."
"It's good to spend time with family, Lisa," Adelaide said. "What better way than with an old tradition of Lucha Libre?"
As Luna moved through the crowd, she spotted a girl whom she was very familiar with. "There's Sam!"
"And she's with Benny!" Luan said.
"Hey! Girls! Over here!" Sam said, waving the two over.
"Uh, Sam? Problem," Benny said, gesturing to a suspicious looking Lori.
"Right...Luna did say she'd be here," Sam nervously said.
"Should we be worried?" Benny asked.
"Hey, it's been a while, maybe Lori stopped caring about the fact that you and I took the virginities of their sisters," Sam said. "After all, we're practically adults."
"Yeah, besides there's no consequence," Benny said. "I used protection, you have biology on your side, and neither Luna or Luan regret anything."
"And neither do we," Sam said.
"So we've got nothing to worry about," Benny said.
Those worries rose again when Lori was seen inches away from the teens, glaring right at them. "I've got my eyes on you two."
Sam and Benny nervously glanced at one another, trying to hide their worries with a thumbs up to the eldest Loud child.
"Hey, check it," Lynn said, gesturing to a nearby booth. "We're so close to where the announcer is."
"Don't get any funny ideas," Luan said. "That's my job."
"I'm just saying, I bet I can really liven things up with my own brand of commentary," Lynn said. "I do have some wrestling experience after all."
"Just be careful getting sucked back into this," Lucy said.
"I got this," Lynn said.
Suddenly the fireworks went off, just as Clyde was getting closer to his seat. "The event's starting!"
Artemis looked around, spotting Ronnie Anne among the others, "There she is! Hey! Ronnie Anne!"
"Hi Lincoln!" Chloe waved.
The two noticed the other kids, both waving back at them.
"Becky! Artemis! You made it!" Ronnie Anne waved.
"Hi Chloe! Hey Clyde!" Lincoln waved.
While Chloe was happy to greet Lincoln, Clyde seemed a bit hesitant, much to Ronnie Anne's confusion.
"What's with Clyde?" Ronnie Anne asked. "He doesn't look happy to see you."
"It's complicated," Lincoln said. "Tell you later, let's just get ready for the fight."
"Uh...alright then," Ronnie Anne said, the girl still looking worried for her friend.
"Yo Clyde! Come sit next to me," Becky said, saving a seat for the boy while shifting her eyebrows up and down.
"Uh, sure, if you want," Clyde said, taking a seat next to the rough and tough girl.
Chloe raised her eyebrow, but shook it off, opting to sit between Clyde and Emma, the latter holding out some snacks.
"I got a candy bar for you," Emma said.
"Thanks," Chloe took the bar and aggressively bit it while focusing on the ring.
"Allllllllllright then!" Came the voice of the announcer. "Who's up for some, Luchaaaaaaaaaaaa Libreeeeeeeeeee!?"
Fireworks began going off as music blared throughout the arena, getting everyone excited for the coming event.
"Awesome! I'm getting pumped up!" Sid cheered.
"We have a big day for you folks! Including our main event!" The Announcer said. "The big showdown between...Princeeeeeeeeess Valentinaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
The crowd immediately jeered and booed the wrestler as an image of her face came on the screen.
"And her challenger! The Weather Forecaster of Lucha Libre..." The Announcer hyped. "The one! The only! Laaaaaaaaaaaa Tormentaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
The crowd began to cheer once an image of La Tormenta came onto the screen.
"I love this lady's name, it suits her," Lana said. "La Tormenta sounds like...The Torment! She's going to unleash a torment of pain on her opponents!"
"Actually Lana, La Tormenta is Spanish for 'The Storm'," Carlota corrected.
"Oh...sorry, my mistake," Lana said.
"It's fine, it's an easy mistake to make," Carlota said.
"Maybe you should try learning some Spanish," Carl said in a teasing tone. "It should increase your intelligence."
"Lay off Carl," Carlota warned.
"I'm just offering some advice," Carl said. "If Lori's family knows more Spanish, then Great Grandma Lupe might like them more."
"Carl!" Carlota scolded. "Don't start with that!"
"Huh? What does that mean?" Lana asked.
"Ignore him," Carlota said. "And don't worry about the Tormenta thing. What you said was actually clever, it could work as a second catchphrase for her."
"Oh really? Sweet," Lana said, the girl focused back on the fight, much to Carlota's ease.
Lori however, couldn't help but overhear part of the conversation, the girl looking really worried. Fortunately Bobby was quick to comfort his girlfriend as he focused on the ring.
"We have a surprise guest today, give it up, for Bella Big Bucks!" The Announcer said, just as the woman came to the ring.
"What's she doing here!?" Lynn asked in disbelief.
"Well she is a wrestling promoter," Lincoln said. "Maybe she works here now."
"Oh bogus, she better not have brought over those losers she had me fight," Lynn said.
"Howdy there, Royal Woods! It's your girl! Bella Big Bucks! Coming to you straight from Royal Woods Arena!" Bella announced. "Now, I've been in this game for a while now, this is my go to arena for all of your best wrestling matches. I had some really tough fighters under my belt, including..." Bella's eyes narrowed at Lynn. "Well I'll be, is that The Brawl Monitor!?"
The spotlight shined on Lynn, the girl barely fazed by the sudden attention she got. "Yo!"
"So, finally come crawling back here?" Bella asked.
"I'm here to see a fight! That's why I'm in the audience!" Lynn called.
"Hon, what is going on?" Rita asked her husband.
"Not sure..." Lynn Sr spoke up. "Excuse me! Is there any reason you're putting attention on my daughter!? And being rude about it too?"
"Aw...Brawl Monitor came with her daddy! Isn't that precious?" Bella asked.
"Yeah, I can tell you're being condescending, and I really do not appreciate that," Lynn Sr said.
"Dad, it's fine, let it go," Lynn said.
"I will once this lady dials it back," Lynn Sr said. "Lady! I am only asking you once! Focus the spotlight away from my daughter, and go back to doing your job!"
"Oh, a job huh? I have a job, that's to promote fights," Bella said. "So how about this? I hereby offer you an open challenge! To you and your precious little girl! A two vs two match! What do you say!?"
"And there it is," Lynn said. "Dad, she's just baiting us."
"That's fine, I have an idea," Lynn Sr said, then focused on Bella. "I accept! Whoever you got, I can take it all by myself!"
"Dad...you're tough, but these guys are...wait, Bella only hires amateurs," Lynn realized, before standing up. "You know, maybe this will work."
"Excellent, so we have our first match tonight!" Bella said. "The Brawl Monitor and her daddy against a husband and wife duo from The Philippines!"
"Philippines? Husband and Wife?" Lincoln asked.
"Ooooh, wonder who it's going to be?" Sid wondered.
With Clyde, he and his friends were just as curious.
"There's no way it's them, is there?" Rusty asked.
"Ah got a bad feeling about this," Liam said, the boy glancing toward Lynn, feeling very worried.
Lynn Sr entered the ring, rather clumsily as Lynn jumped over the ropes. "Bring it on, Big Bucks!" Lynn tore off her gym clothes and into her wrestling gear.
"How did she do that?" Sid asked.
"Don't ask," Lincoln replied.
"Okay Bella, show me who you got," Lynn said.
"I'm glad you asked," Bella turned to the entrance ramp. "Behold!"
Within seconds, a husband and wife duo came to the ring, both looking ready for a fight.
"No way..." Lincoln said. "It's Stella's aunt and uncle!"
"Whoa really?" Sid asked. "Say, where is Stella?"
Not too far away, Stella, who was watching from the stands, shook her head in annoyance and left. "I knew coming here was a mistake." She picked up her phone and called someone. "Hey Christina, I'm going back to base."
"Is Lincoln there?" Christina asked from a rooftop, the girl in her Firestar costume.
"Yes, and so is his family, who is currently wrestling against my family," Stella said.
"...Huh?" Christina asked.
From the audience, Lincoln called out to his sister. "Lynn! Be careful! That's Stella's aunt and uncle!"
"Don't worry, I'll go easy on them!" Lynn reassured.
"That's not what I'm worried about!" Lincoln called.
"Ah can't believe Lynn's gonna wrestle against Stella's aunt and uncle," Liam said. "Hope she'll be alright."
"Lincoln's sister is one tough girl," Chloe said.
Lori grumbled in annoyance, "Can't my family have a normal outing for once?"
"Hey, it makes life exciting at least," Bobby said.
"Well, at least my friends are late, so they won't have to see this," Lori said.
"Hey! There's Lori!" Dana called as she and her group entered from the side. "And there's her sister and father in the ring!"
"Wow, are they wrestling?" Fiona asked. "That's awesome."
"And of course..." Lori lamented.
"Stand back Lynn," Lynn Sr said, stepping forward. "Let your old man handle this. I won't let you lift a finger."
"Dad, that may not work out so well," Lynn said.
"Nonsense, it will work out perfectly," Lynn Sr said. "After all-" The two grabbed Lynn Sr by the shirt and pulled him in, with the sounds of a beating taking hold. "GAH! SO MUCH PAIN!"
"I got you pops!" Lynn bounced off the ropes and into the husband and wife duo as a scuffle was heard.
While this was happening, La Tigressa was observing from her trailer, the woman feeling more and more irritated. "Great, now they're letting complete amateurs in. This is a mockery of Lucha Libra." She turned to the serum that Miles Warren had given her. "That settles it."
The woman took the serum and tossed the container aside. She felt fine at first, before suddenly a sharp pain jolted through her body. La Tigressa fell over, holding herself in pain as the substance began to take over her whole body.
It wasn't long before she began sweating profusely as she began having trouble breathing. Her eyes began turning yellow as claws began to grow, and fangs formed in her mouth.
All that could be heard after a while was a sinister cackle from a woman who was once human.
Back in the ring, Lynn was holding her own against her opponents, despite her father already being too hurt to fight. This did cause some concern for her relatives and friends.
"Come on Lynn, you can do it," Liam cheered.
Margo was also nearby, along with Polly and Paula as she cheered her best friend, "Come on Lynn! You can do it!"
Adelaide looked to be on the edge of her seat, "Lynn's tough! She's taking on two adults at once!"
"She's definitely stubborn," Lola said. "But it's working for her."
"Don't Stop Believing, Lynn!" Luna cheered. "You got this!"
Lynn did her best to outmaneuver the two, "I've met your niece by the way, cool girl."
"Aw, thanks," the woman said.
"We're very proud of our little, Stella," the man said.
As the fight continued, a loud roar was heard throughout the arena, spooking everyone.
"Uh...what was that?" Lola asked.
"I don't know, but it sounded really scary," Adelaide said, the girl clutching onto Lana for safekeeping.
"It's fine, probably just the special effects," Lana said.
Suddenly parts of the entrance ramp were suddenly destroyed by some quick claw strikes, startling the crew and the audience.
"Uh...folks, I'll be honest, I'm not sure what's happening," The Announcer said. "Senora Big Bucks, any idea what's going on?"
"I don't know, but something tells me we're going to get high ratings," Bella said.
Coming down the ramp was the fully mutated La Tigressa, the woman snarling as she came down the ring, glaring at everyone in the match.
"Is that La Tigressa?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"What's she doing here?" Sid asked.
"All of you...out of my ring," La Tigressa warned.
"Excuse me, we're in the middle of a match," Stella's aunt explained. "So if you don't mind-"
La Tigressa grabbed the woman by the throat and aggressively threw her out of the ring and into the crowd.
"Hey! That's no way to treat my wife!" Stella's uncle went to attack, but La Tigresa punched him hard across his jaw, knocking him into the corner and started assaulting the man.
"Hey! Are you nuts!?" Lynn shouted.
La Tigressa was getting brutal, striking the man to the point of bleeding, and even using her claws to scratch his face, causing more pain for the fighter.
"Holy shit!" Lynn shouted, then found herself being stared down by La Tigressa.
"Are you next?" La Tigressa asked.
Lincoln's spider-sense began ringing at an alarming rate. He wasn't sure what was happening, but he wasn't going to take any chances when it came to his sister.
Without saying a word, Lincoln got up from his seat and left. Most of his family was too distracted or worried about Lynn, but Sid took note of his departure.
"Where's Lincoln going?" Sid went to follow Lincoln, this catching Ronnie Anne's attention.
"Sid, where are you going!?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"Quick! Security!" The Announcer said. "Remove La Tigressa from the ring!"
Some guards ran in to stop the woman, but using her cat-like reflexes, she managed to lay out all of the guards, leaving a few with some scratches and other types of injuries. One guard got his ribs crushed with a knee strike, the other got his arm broken with a kick, and one took an uppercut into the crowd.
"None of you are worthy foes!" La Tigressa shouted. "Bring me La Tormenta! She's the only one who can give me a good fight!"
Lynn still stood at awe in the ring, almost too terrified to move. She then noticed her father in the corner of her eye. "Dad! Run!"
La Tigressa turned back to Lynn, "Still here? Do I need to teach you a lesson?" As La Tigressa went to strike, Lynn dashed in to tackle the woman.
"Get away from my daughter!" the man shouted. This resulted in a large scratch across his chest and getting kicked through the ropes and into the crowd.
"Dad!" Lynn cried out in worry.
Rita began to panic, between seeing her husband hurt and her daughter in danger, she didn't know what to do. "Someone! Save my daughter!"
"Daddy?" Lily said in worry, the youngest Loud now worried about her father.
"We gotta do something!" Luna said, standing up. "Loud Family! Charge the ring!"
Just before anything could happen to Lynn, she was suddenly lifted away by the newly arriving Spider-Man, the hero landing on top of the ramp with his sister in his arms.
"That was close..." the disguised Lincoln said as he turned to his sister. "Hey, are you alright?"
Lynn began blushing, the girl now in the arms of the hero she didn't even know she knew. "Uh..." It took her a second to come to her senses as she leapt off of Lincoln's arms. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Spider-Man?" La Tigressa asked.
Lincoln swung over to the ring, staring down La Tigressa, "Listen, I don't know what's going on, but this does not seem like a wrestling match!"
"This is more than just Lucha Libre, it's about honor!" La Tigressa warned. "And don't worry, I plan to come for you soon. But right now, I want La Tormenta!"
"You called!?" Came a voice from up the ramp. Stepping into view was the popular lucha libre wrestler, that being La Tormenta.
"There you are!" La Tigressa said, the woman snarling in satisfaction. "Come and face me, La Tormenta! Today we end this rivalry for good!"
"Wait, um, Miss Tormenta, ma'am?" Lincoln said, getting her attention. "You shouldn't need to fight, you already have a match later. Besides this woman is too dangerous right now. Maybe you haven't noticed, but she has claws."
"I'm aware, but I'm not going to stand by and do nothing," La Tormenta said. "To ignore this is an insult to my honor."
Lincoln shook his head, "Look, I get the honor thing, but I still think that-"
"Chill Spidey, it's La Tormenta," Lynn said. "If anyone can do it, she can."
"Gracias, chica," La Tormenta said, glaring across at La Tigressa. "Today's Forecast calls for...Pain!"
She ran to the ring to stare down her opponent, ready to fight as hard as she needs to. Everyone was at the edge of their seats, unsure of what to expect.
"This looks bad, better bring in...the cage," Bella pressed a button, and a cage formed around the ring, locking the two wrestlers inside.
"That can't be good," Lincoln lamented, expecting a tough fight for the famed Luchadora.
In the crowd as well was Miles Warren, the man looking satisfied with the results of his medicine. "Have your fun my Tiger friend, just remember our deal."
An unexpected battle was about to take place, with stakes higher than they originally had been.
