Izumi Pov.
"Then, as-"
"Get to the point." Aizawa interrupted me as soon as I started to speak. I stopped stiffly and looked at him curiously. Aizawa just crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.
"Now, now, Sensei, I was about to say something really important-"
"To the point." Aizawa repeated slowly, I pouted.
"Fiine." I clicked my tongue. "So, what is it you want to know?" I asked easily, gesturing for Mai to sit next to Mirko. She simply nodded and headed towards the chair. I just looked at Sir Nighteye, who stood up.
"Shie Hassakai, Chisaki, Overhaul, Eri, Rewind. Everything you know." Sir Nighteye said directly. I hummed.
"Very well, before that, could I read the report and the information you have? There are… some gaps I need to fill and lines to connect, and it would be good to have it so I don't forget to mention anything important." I said easily. Sir Nighteye looked at me and nodded, then glanced at Bubble Girl, who nodded as well, and handed me the tablet with the entire report. I took it with a smile that made her blush and began to quickly read the report.
I didn't need to read everything in detail, at least not the parts I already knew, so I was able to quickly skim the report and the information Sir Nighteye had gathered, and to my surprise, it was far more than I expected. It included Shie Hassakai members, confirmed and suspected houses, shelters, and lairs, operations they were involved in either directly or indirectly, as well as those that weren't confirmed, and much more. After several minutes, I couldn't help but whistle in awe.
"This is truly impressive," I said to Sir Nighteye as I looked up. He frowned.
"Are you finished?" he asked, almost suspiciously. I nodded. I handed the tablet back to Bubble Girl.
"Yep, thanks, that helped me connect the dots I was missing." I said lightly.
"Do you know anything about Eri-chan?" Izuku asked immediately. I raised an eyebrow and laughed slightly.
"I know several things—" Izuku and Mirio stood up almost immediately. "—but we'll go in order, first the Shie Hassaikai." I told them. They seemed like they wanted to argue, but I just stared at them. They nodded listlessly. "Raise your hand if you know about… All Might's niece. About Tenko Shigaraki, Tenko Shimura, or as she's called now, Tenko Shirakumo." I looked around the room. I saw several people raise their hands.
"Tenko?" Izuku asked, confused.
"What's the point?" Sir Nighteye asked first. I hummed softly.
"It's very important. The first time I saw Chisaki with my Observation Haki was when I looked at Tenko during the USJ incident." I said easily, and I could see several of their eyes open.
"That long ago? That was 5 months ago." Aizawa said with a frown, I nodded.
"And that's why it was confusing to see a vision about her," I said easily. And yes, Overhaul here was a woman. "Tomura Shigaraki was All For One's student. As you know, AFO is able to steal and grant quirks. To summarize, AFO stole Tomura's quirk when she was a child, a quirk that allows her to propel herself through the air, and replaced it with Decay."
"Now, Decay doesn't really exist as such; it's a modified copy of a very distinctive quirk, one where the restorative aspects were removed, leaving only destruction. 10 points to whoever guesses who the original belonged to." I said dryly.
"Overhaul." Sir Nighteye said solemnly, and I nodded.
"Yes," I said, nodding. "I could see Chisaki through Tomura, since she had a copy of her quirk, but it wasn't until I saw All For One that I was able to find out more," I said with a grimace. "All For One had an orphanage, one that was owned by her most fervent and loyal follower, Kyudai Garaki. The orphanage was intended to raise children as potential heirs to All For One."
"And Kei Chisaki was one of them. It was at that moment that Garaki acquired samples of her blood and managed to replicate and modify Overhaul, turning it into Decay," I said solemnly. "Now, all of this up until now has only been glimpses of the past, but the next time I saw her, it was more troubling."
"The next time I saw Chisaki was when I saw Mirio." I said as I looked at Mirio, who opened his eyes.
"Me?!" Mirio asked, surprised. I nodded.
"And she wasn't the only one I saw." I said easily, reaching into my shadows and pulling out one of my notebooks. I quickly searched through the sketches I had made and showed them to the other heroes present. "This is-"
"Eri-chan!!" Izuku and Mirio exclaimed simultaneously, jumping to their feet in surprise. I held up the picture in the notebook. The picture was of Eri, a six-year-old girl with long, wavy hair and a small horn on the right side of her forehead. She wore a worn dress and bandages on her arms and legs.
"You... you really saw her." Sir Nighteye frowned and reached for the notebook. I snatched it away, which made him look at me in surprise. I simply tore out the page with Eri's drawing and handed it to him, then dropped the notebook into my shadow once more. Sir Nighteye slowly picked up the picture and looked at me suspiciously. I just smiled brazenly at him.
"I'm sorry, Sir Nighteye, but I don't think you'd want to read my lesbian fanfiction, although there's a really good one about Mirko and Ryukyu if you're interested." I said with a lascivious smile.
"Do you have to?!" Mirko demanded forcefully. My eyes flashed with amusement as everyone stared at me with horror and disgust, especially Sir Nighteye, who snatched the picture of Eri away from me. I chuckled. Yes, better than them seeing my notes about future events.
"What did you see about Eri?" Aizawa grunted, massaging his temple, trying to get back on topic. I hummed softly.
"Not much, but some important things, like for starters, her quirk is called Rewind." I said with a hum.
"Oh... that's Rewind." Izuku said with a frown.
"I'll stop you before you start babbling." I told Izuku dryly, he just blushed. "Rewind is... a really powerful quirk," I said, frowning. "It's an accumulation quirk that resides in her small horn. The size of that horn determines the intensity of its power. Essentially, from what I've been able to gather, it allows Eri to revert a living body to a previous state, so she can physically rejuvenate someone, heal wounds, and undo body modifications." I explained simply.
"That... is really strong," Sir Nighteye murmured.
"Moreover... it is capable of pushing someone to a point where they were not conceived." I said solemnly, and I could see several loud gasps.
"That's...horrible, I admit, but I can't see the correlation with the quirk-erasing bullets; the effects were different." A black heroine interrupted—oh, that was Rock Lock.
Yes, I remembered correctly, she had a quirk similar to Clockblocker's; she could immobilize anything inanimate in a fixed location in space. It was definitely weaker than Clockblocker's quirk, but Rock Lock's could be used on anything she touched and even after she let go, so… pros and cons. I nodded in her direction.
"You wouldn't see it, because Chisaki modifies Eri's blood and quirk. Essentially, if I'm right, the drug is modified so that Eri's own blood is capable of attacking by reverting a person's DNA and biology to a previous state of quirk phenomena. What she's essentially doing is forcing a devolution in the human body." I said with a frown; I could see everyone's eyes widen.
"Wait, is that... even possible?" one of the heroines asked tremulously.
"Considering the drug is already in circulation, yes," another person said tersely. "Luckily, it's temporary," they added.
"For now." I interrupted, which froze everyone. "From what I understand, the Shie Hassaikai is in... decline. Honestly, they have an astonishing lack of money to manufacture and perfect the drug." I said with a grimace.
"The League of Villains," Sir Nighteye interrupted. "There have been some rumors that the Shie Hassaikai was trying to make contact with them." He said, and I just nodded.
"But... they're not in Japan, are they?" added a heroine, I just wrinkled my nose.
"They're not. The last sighting was during all the trouble in the United States and in Africa with Moord Nag." Gran Torino agreed with a grimace. I wrinkled my nose.
"Do you know where Eri is, Miyamura? Any other important information?" Aizawa asked with a frown, and I wrinkled my nose.
"Not really," I said with a grimace. "I saw several things, but most of it is covered in Sir Nighteye's report." I didn't really want to lie, but there was a lot I couldn't mention without giving anything away. "The only thing I can think of is that Chisaki is really dangerous," I said with a grimace.
"We already know that." A heroine said almost dismissively; I shook my head.
"No, I saw the report. Chisaki's quirk, Overhaul, is more dangerous. It's located in her hands, but a simple light touch is all it takes for Chisaki to activate it. She only needs less than a fraction of a second to kill someone."
"And that's not all; you can use it for much more than just destroying and restoring objects. You can destroy matter and rebuild it over a wide area in various forms that are hostile to your enemies. Or you can even use it to heal allies and return them to a biologically perfect state."
"It depends on how Chisaki wants to play. She could be much more dangerous and annoying than usual, but the most important thing, and the most dangerous thing, is that she can combine two different objects or beings into a single entity that possesses components of both... including their quirks," I said solemnly. I could see several people shudder.
"Wait... you mean... she could become another All For One?" Midoriya asked, almost horrified. Several people shuddered even more. I grimaced.
"Maybe? I have no idea what its limit is, only that, if what I saw is true, then it's a possibility, and if what I believe is true, then the auras of both of us also combine." I said with a grimace.
"Eraser Head." Sir Nighteye said immediately, Aizawa just nodded solemnly.
"We'll be on the lookout, and I'll focus on Chisaki," Aizawa said without hesitation. Sir Nighteye nodded. I could see the other heroes sighing almost unconsciously.
"And that would be all-" I paused momentarily.
"Did you remember something?" Aizawa asked, I shook my head.
"Something like that? Not about visions, but maybe I know someone who has information about the Shie Hassaikai." I hummed, pulled out my scroll, and quickly looked up a specific number.
"Who are you calling?" Sir Nighteye asked, frowning.
"Do you mind if I use that?" I asked, pointing to the screen displaying Shie Hassakai's information. I didn't wait for a response until I linked my scroll to the screen and immediately dialed the number. My scroll beeped a couple of times until the screen lit up and showed me a person.
"Izumi?" Raku Ichijou asked in surprise before smiling. "Izumi!" he repeated happily.
"Raku, it's good to see you're doing well," I said with a smile as I looked at the scrolling screen.
" Hey! Is that Miyamura?!" I sees Chitoge bring her face closer to the screen.
"Chitoge." I said to her with a smile. Chitoge 's eyes sparkled.
"Are you coming to the mansion?! It's been way too long since I've had a comedy show made with your quirk!" Chitoge complained.
"Chitoge!" Raku complained, and I snorted.
"Unfortunately, this isn't a social call," I said with an apologetic smile. They both looked confused. "I need to speak with your father, Raku," I said seriously. Raku froze and frowned.
"My father?" Raku asked, confused.
"Yes, there's something I want to ask him, something only he could know." I said easily, and Raku frowned even more.
"It's about..." Raku made a face, I nodded.
"Yes, can you put it on the call?" I asked with a crooked smile. Raku just sighed and nodded.
"Let me go get him." Raku said simply. I could see him stand up with his phone in his hand and start moving as the screen flickered.
"Hmm, why did you call Ichijou -san?" Izuku asked, confused. I just glanced over.
"You'll find out soon enough." I said playfully, as Raku moved around his mansion, I grabbed a small long tripod phone stand from my shadows and placed it far enough away so that we could all fit in the scrolling camera.
"Hey ! Izumi! Raku told me you were looking for me! How can I help you?!" a cheerful voice asked as his face appeared before he froze upon seeing the image on the screen. "Wow, a hero gathering," Issei Ichijou said.
"Issei Ichijou, head of the Shuei Clan, a faction of the Yakuza," Sir Nighteye said solemnly.
"I'd say it's a pleasure to meet you, Sir Nighteye, but I'm still confused by what's happening," Issei said, slurring his words.
"Issei-sama, I apologize for the inconvenience, but we're involved in a Yakuza-related case, and we need information about the Shie Hassaikai," I said directly. Issei's eyebrows raised.
"Oh? This is getting interesting. I'm listening, Izumi," Issei said with a smile. I grimaced and quickly summarized the whole Shie Hassaikai matter to Issei.
"That idiot." Issei spat with a growl.
"Hey, Miyamura!! You better beat the crap out of that bastard!" Chitoge said, appearing on the screen.
"And save that girl Eri!" Raku said, snatching the phone away.
"That's what I'd try to do if I could talk to your father," I said curtly. Raku froze as the camera cut back.
"What do you need?" Issei asked directly. I just nodded.
"Anything helps, even the smallest piece of information." I told him without hesitation, Issei hummed.
"To begin with, Eri is not Kai Chisaki's daughter," Issei stated immediately. "The former leader of the Shie Hassaikai is a woman with strong moral principles; in fact, we agree on several things about how to run the Yakuza."
"She adopted Kai as a child, so they're not related either. Recently, the Shie Hassakai was nearing its end; the former leader was coming to terms with it, but Kai wasn't."
"Going back to the girl, to Eri, she is the biological granddaughter of the former leader; in fact, she is the true heir of the Shie Hassakai. I don't know what really happened, but at some point, Eri's mother left her in the care of the former leader, who in turn left Eri in Kai's care, hoping that she would change, but obviously that didn't work out."
"All of that happened overnight. The former leader fell into a coma. We're all sure it was Chisaki who did it, but we had no proof, so she took control of the Shie Hassaikai and runs it with an iron fist."
"The members of the Shie Hassaikai will follow her orders even if they go against all the principles of the Yakuza, out of fear of Kai. I don't know much more, the only thing I know is that, until a few weeks ago, they were in need of money, a lot of money."
"As I mentioned, the Shie Hassaikai is in decline, like most Yakuza, due to the increased presence of heroes, but it affected them even more. They came looking for funding, and I refused to give it to them. They kept asking for money from other Yakuza factions or even other criminal organizations in the underworld."
"Until they simply stopped. I don't know who gave them the money, but it was at that moment that their operations began to expand beyond their territory." Issei said without hesitation, and I nodded with a grimace.
"So they really did find someone to sponsor them," Sir Nighteye said, frowning. "Is it really going to be the League of Villains?" Sir Nighteye muttered.
"Not necessarily," Lady Nagant interjected, frowning. "That's not the only way to make money," she added. "Dungeons are an extremely easy way to do so, and hunters don't do background checks before licensing anyone," she said tersely. I could hear more than one person swear.
"I will begin tracing the records of all the gates that were opened in Osaka in recent weeks and the groups of hunters who cleared them," Sir Nighteye said immediately.
"Thank you, Issei-sama, that helps." I said with a smile, Issei just shook his head.
"Don't worry, Izumi, I'm sorry I don't have any more information to share. When Kai took command of the Shie Hassakai, most of the information between our factions practically disappeared," Issei said with a sigh.
"Don't worry, that was more than enough, all the information is useful." I said easily, and Issei nodded.
"Very well, I'll send you all the information I have available on the places that belong to Kai, and by the way, Izumi, do us a favor and take down those idiots, what they did to the Shie Hassaikai and to the name of the Yakuza is intolerable." Issei said coldly, I snorted.
"Don't worry, I'll do it." I promised. Issei nodded before smiling broadly, his previous, completely serious self instantly disappearing.
"Alright, don't forget to stop by the mansion, I miss your cooking!" Issei said cheerfully.
"You too!?" I heard Raku shout in disbelief, Issei just laughed.
"Sorry, son, but you can't compete against Izumi's quirk, it's simply illegal!" Issei said, bursting into laughter as the call cut off. I shook my head, letting the tripod and my scroll wheel fall into my shadows.
"So... that's all I've got." I told the heroes who were just staring at me.
"You have... contacts with the Yakuza ? Not just an informant, but you're friends with the son and heir of the Shuei Clan ?" Gran Torino asked, raising an eyebrow. I shrugged.
"Raku is a good person, we've been close friends for several years, we went to school together, Izuku met him, we met up with them a few times," I said easily, everyone turned to look at Izuku, who blushed.
"I didn't know he was part of the Yakuza!" Izuku exclaimed in a panic, I sighed.
"Shuei Clan is bad either. In fact, they're quite docile, especially now that they recently signed that whole truce with the Beehive Gang, since Raku is married to Chitoge, who's the heir." I said, shrugging. Everyone stared at me incredulously.
"Is that blonde the daughter of the leader of the Beehive Gang?" someone asked incredulously.
"Any other surprises you'd like to mention?" Aizawa asked, massaging his temple.
"Several, but I'll keep them a secret for now," I said playfully. Aizawa just shook his head.
"Let's wrap up this meeting," Aizawa said wearily. I chuckled as I walked away to take a seat. I glanced over at Mirko, and... she was asleep. I didn't even know why I was surprised anymore. I chuckled again as I sat down and let Sir Nighteye take control of the meeting once more.
