Chapter 361: Mo Yu: I Have a Child?
On his way back to the capital from Yunlan Mountain, Mo Yu kept hearing the name "Yan Alliance" everywhere. This news made him pause for a moment before he smiled and nodded in understanding.
After Yunlan Sect was destroyed, the Jia Ma Empire had fallen into a power vacuum. Since Mo Yu had no plans for the Yuan Manor to take root in the Northwest Continent, it was only natural that Xiao Yan would take over.
The establishment of the Yan Alliance had caused an immediate and huge sensation in the Jia Ma Empire. Many were shocked by this new alliance of powerful forces.
The Empire's three major families, plus the Alchemist Association, formed an alliance that rivaled the former Yunlan Sect in strength. No one had expected that Xiao Yan would quietly and efficiently accomplish something that Yunlan Sect could never achieve.
Many began to realize that, in the future, the Jia Ma Empire might belong to the Yan Alliance. Yunlan Sect had truly been replaced.
Mo Yu was quite pleased with this turn of events. After all, being part of the Xiao family, he knew that the existence of the Yan Alliance would greatly increase the safety of his family.

At that moment, Xiao Yan and his two brothers came out and, hearing Mo Yu's words, Xiao Yan smiled lightly. "The creation of the Yan Alliance owes much to your full support, cousin Mo."
"Heh, it was nothing, just a few resources," Mo Yu waved it off before turning to Xiao Li. "Second Brother, are you planning to stay with Yuan Manor or join the Yan Alliance?"
Xiao Li chuckled. "I'll stay with Yuan Manor. The Black-Corner Region suits me better than the Jia Ma Empire."
Upon hearing this, both Xiao Yan and Xiao Ding smiled faintly. It was clear that they had already expected this answer. Though they were united as brothers, they each had their own path, and Mo Yu was not an outsider to this.
"Mo Yu, come with me."
As the group was chatting, a cold voice suddenly rang out. The sound caused everyone to stiffen, and they slowly turned to see Queen Medusa standing lazily by the stone railing. Her enchanting eyes scanned the room.
Seeing her, Hai Bodong and Jia Xingtian quickly took a few steps back, while Xiao Yan and his brothers exchanged surprised glances at Mo Yu.
"Cough, I'll go see what's going on," Mo Yu said, clearing his throat as he walked toward Queen Medusa with a smile.
"What's going on? Do you need something?" he asked her with a gentle tone.
"It's not me. The elders of the Snake Tribe want to see you," Medusa replied with a complex expression.
Mo Yu was momentarily confused, then his eyes flickered strangely as he glanced at Medusa's slender, graceful belly. Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, he mumbled, "The Snake Tribe elders want to see me... Could it be... you're pregnant?"
Hearing his words, Medusa froze, her beautiful face showing a hint of confusion. After noticing his gaze, she seemed to understand what he meant. Biting her lip, she shot him an irritated look.
"Stop imagining things! Come if you want, or don't!" she huffed before turning away, disappearing from sight.
Seeing that Queen Medusa was upset, Hai Bodong and the others shivered and gave Mo Yu sympathetic looks. It seemed that dealing with this fiery woman would be tough in the future.
Xiao Yan was also inwardly thankful that his own fiancée, Xun'er, was gentle and sweet, unlike Queen Medusa, who was always taking her frustrations out on Mo Yu.
On the other hand, Mo Yu sighed in relief after hearing Medusa's words. He had been worried that she might have accidentally gotten pregnant after that incident between them.
Although he didn't mind the idea of having children, he felt that now was not the right time.
Shaking his head, he saw Medusa's disappearing figure and quickly said his goodbyes to Xiao Yan and the others before hurrying to catch up.
Though his incident with Medusa had been an unexpected misunderstanding, the fact remained that he had taken her body. Now, being summoned by the Snake Tribe elders felt oddly like he was meeting her family.
Following Medusa through the city streets, they eventually arrived in a darker part of the city. This area was near the walls, where the tall shadows made it seem gloomy. It was where many of the Snake Tribe's strong warriors resided.
Due to Medusa's recent breakthrough into the Heaven Devouring Python form, the Snake Tribe no longer wanted to remain in the harsh environment of the Tagor Desert. One of their main goals in coming to the capital was likely to discuss a new place to live.
However, most of the Snake people were still resistant to living alongside humans, so it would take time for the two groups to fully integrate.
The area where the Snake Tribe lived was heavily guarded. Snake warriors carrying weapons patrolled constantly, but when they saw Medusa, they immediately knelt in respect, their eyes full of reverence.
After passing through several streets, they finally stopped in front of a large courtyard. Medusa waved her hand, and the gate opened automatically. She walked in, with Mo Yu following closely behind.
No sooner had Mo Yu stepped inside than a massive shadow came hurtling toward him, accompanied by a fierce gust of wind!
Sensing the sudden attack, Mo Yu's expression didn't change. Letting out a soft hum, he clenched his fist. Without even using his Dou Qi, he met the attacker head-on with pure physical strength.
Boom!
A deep thud echoed through the courtyard as dust exploded into the air. Mo Yu remained motionless, but the attacker was sent flying, tumbling through the air before landing heavily on the ground.
Looking up calmly, Mo Yu saw a large, muscular male Snake person standing before him. The man had a fierce look and black snake tattoos coiling around his arms.
The man stared at Mo Yu in shock. During their clash, he hadn't sensed any Dou Qi. This meant that the human before him had defeated him using only raw physical power!
"Who are you?" Mo Yu asked, his voice calm as he looked at the peak Dou King Snake person.
"Commander Mebas of the Snake Tribe!" the man replied, his gaze filled with a mix of hostility and respect. "The strength of Yuan Manor's leader is indeed not just talk!"
After saying this, Mebas bowed respectfully to Medusa before retreating.
Medusa's eyes flickered with a hint of thought as she watched Mo Yu. Then, with a sultry voice, she whispered in his ear, "It seems your strength has grown again during this time. Not bad, you haven't embarrassed me."
With that, she reverted to her usual cold and haughty demeanor. "Follow me," she said, turning and walking deeper into the courtyard.
Smiling at her playful attitude, Mo Yu followed, all the while feeling the intense stares of the Snake warriors on him.
As Medusa and Mo Yu entered the inner courtyard, the atmosphere became lively. The Snake Tribe warriors couldn't stop gossiping, discussing how Mebas—one of the strongest Snake warriors—had been so easily defeated. Many thought their queen had found quite the impressive human partner.
After passing through several quiet paths, they stopped in front of a bamboo house hidden deep within a bamboo grove.
Medusa's face grew serious as she knocked lightly on the door.
"Come in," came an elderly voice from inside.
The door opened, and Medusa glanced at Mo Yu before stepping in. Mo Yu could sense four powerful presences inside the bamboo house, though none were as strong as Medusa. However, they were all at the peak of Dou Emperor, stronger than Hai Bodong or Jia Xingtian.
After gauging the strength of the Snake Tribe elders, Mo Yu followed Medusa inside. As he stepped in, the door closed behind him.
Inside, the faint glow of lanterns illuminated four elderly figures. Medusa was already sitting quietly on a cushion.
As Mo Yu approached, the elder in the center slowly opened her eyes, and her slitted pupils locked onto him like a snake eyeing its prey. A cold shiver ran down his spine.
When the central elder opened her eyes, the other three followed suit, and four waves of chilling energy converged in the air, forming a giant black serpent above them.
The black serpent's cold, emotionless eyes bore down on Mo Yu as an invisible pressure gathered, pressing heavily on him.
Feeling the intense pressure, Mo Yu remained calm. With a thought, poisonous green lightning erupted around him, enveloping his body.
The green lightning immediately caused the atmosphere to become even more toxic. The dark, venomous energy that radiated from Mo Yu's body was so potent that the pressure from the four elders was quickly overwhelmed.
Even the black serpent in the air flickered, becoming more transparent.
"What kind of lightning is this? It resembles the legendary Netherworld Poison Flame!"
The central elder's cloudy eyes flashed with surprise. Even after all her years, she had never seen or even heard of such a terrifying lightning.
Medusa was also stunned. She knew that Mo Yu had various mysterious types of lightning, but this green, poisonous lightning was new to her. She suddenly recalled the poison-wielding Little Doctor Fairy and felt a strange discomfort in her heart.
The black serpent gradually dissipated, and the central elder finally spoke. "You must be Mo Yu, the leader of Yuan Manor?"
"Indeed," Mo Yu replied calmly, smiling as he cupped his hands in greeting. "I greet the four elders of the Snake Tribe."
"For someone so young, you've already reached the level of a Dou Emperor. Your talent is truly extraordinary," the elder remarked, though her smile was anything but friendly. "I am the Great Elder of the Snake Tribe. These are the Second, Third, and Fourth Elders."
As the Great Elder introduced them, Mo Yu politely greeted each one, his demeanor calm and unshaken, exuding the quiet confidence of someone in a position of power.
The elders, who had originally planned to be more aggressive, found themselves slightly flustered in the face of Mo Yu's composure.
"We have called you here today because there is something we must ask you," the Great Elder said, her voice hoarse and serious.
"Please go ahead, Great Elder," Mo Yu replied evenly.
"This matter concerns our tribe's leader, Medusa." The Great Elder's voice grew sharp. "Before she could take human form, Medusa was a virgin. Even though she has now transformed, she was supposed to undergo the tribe's ceremonial cleansing ritual before any relations with a man. But when she returned, she was no longer a virgin. She claims this is your doing."
As the elder spoke, her voice became cold and harsh, and all four elders glared at Mo Yu.
Mo Yu, having expected this, simply nodded. "It was me."
"In that case, according to our tribe's laws, you must face the punishment of being devoured by a thousand snakes!" the Second Elder growled, her voice icy.
Hearing this, Mo Yu's silver eyes glinted, and he let out a cold laugh. "And what if I refuse?"
