The Card Knights were tall and imposing. Their bodies were made of individual cards of different suits and numbers folded like origami into the shapes of knights. Their weapons were much the same. There were 52 of them!
"I think I should introduce myself. I am Deckard. One of the Members of the Motley Crew of the Barbary Pirates and Hard Rock fleet."
"And I am the User of the Deck Deck Fruit, which allows me to control, manipulate and even turn into cards. Each of them has a unique property to them, each suit that is. I feel it necessary to give this introduction so that I may better understand my opponent"
"Yeah well we aren't telling you anything!" Leroy said as he dug his feet into the ground and attempted to leap forwards to Deckard, fist reeled back!
"Gum Gum! Shot!" His fist slung forward but was stopped by a sudden wall that floated in the air made entirely of cards! They were piled on top of one another like one would do by spreading them across a table to shuffle
'He stopped my blow?' Leroy thought. He hadn't put all his strength behind it, but he expected it to do something! In his mind and much like the rest of the crew, they figured that the opponents would get gradually stronger, but thing guy was clearly far superior than those before
"Straight Flush!" Deckard yelled as he slammed his hand forward, limb bulking up with layers and layers of cards, then it connected to the card wall.
The ball of cards slammed into Leroy with astonishing and surprising force! Sending him skidding backwards! Hand clutching his ribs "Damn!"
"I assume you weren't imagining someone like me so soon? As I suspect that the Twins, the two jabbering idiots they are, gave away our hand." Deckards eyes shifted, Kale already dashing towards him with Kikumori pulled back!
With a quick flick, Deckard held a card betwixt his fingers, shooting it up into the air to block the blade! A loud clang reverberating!
'Those cards are like steel!' Kale thought to himself, bouncing back. Noir then came into the fray, leaping up into the air and doing a front flip axe kick! Only for Deckard to raise another hand, the limb turning into a sculpture of cards and shoot out in a geyser!
"Flush!" The force caused the Chef to be sent in a rewind! Flipping backwards and landing back where he had started. "This guys like one of those CPA agents…" That force was familiar. It was like that of Yuwaku. But that was truly only an estimate
"Go!" Leroy shouted as he leapt back into action, the other two monsters leaping in tandem with their captain!
At the same time, the Card Knights began their own attacks. Suddenly lifting their card weapons, halberds, swords, hammers, maces. Dezzi was able to hear the slight movement of the cards and leapt up out of the way, but Kirk and Jeanne weren't so perceptive.
The weapon passed through the Steam-Human, in response Jeanne raised her hand and released a pressure wave of steam! It was a momentary reflexive move, she manipulated the pressure like clenching her fist and suddenly flexing out!
It caused a shockwave of steam to push out like a boiler explosion! Soaking the card knight and also causing it to rupture into a rain of cards!
"Hey! Guys!" Jeanne yelled, watching as kirk slammed his staff into his own knight, causing it to shatter into cards only to reform moments later "They're cards aren't they? They might be hard but their still just origami!"
She ran up to the knight, braced her arm and held her hand open! A ball of steam formed and compressed into only an inch before rupturing out in a pressure wave! Soaking the cards and tearing them!
"If they're soaked ,they become malleable and I doubt they'll be able to reform!" She said looking back at the Card knight. The top half that was covered in the boiling steam. The lower half was beginning to pull away and fly back to deckard where they sank into him
Kirk gave a quick nod, he knew exactly what he had to do!
"Atmo Acid Rain Spalsh!" The tip of the staff began to bubble and pop, a greenish yellow liquid forming before shooting out in a spray towards another Card knight that was in mid swing!
The acid soaked and began to eat away at the cards before falling apart! They may have been sturdy, but in their current state they were still fundamentally cards. Rectangular, flexible, and susceptible to liquid!
With a quick twist of the staff he caused it to fall into four section, and slammed it into the mushy mess! Cards exploding into chunks! This time, the cards did not return to Deckard
"Dezzi! You guys! You need to destroy the cards fully to put them down!" Kirk said to the remaining crew "Aye Aye!" Dezzi said, pouncing into a shock paw and slamming it into a Card Knight that stood at over 10 feet tall! The Shock burnt and ruptured the cards apart into a burnt pile!
Raven was up next, raising her hands! "Hyperion Sakura!" From the ground, dozens of hands bloomed and then hands from those, and more from those again! Like branches from trees that grew high and wide gripped the Card Kights and pulled them apart viciously!
"Mazus Choke!" She clutched her hands, and the cards were crumbled up into balled pieces. Unlike the others, she was strong enough to effect at least these disconnected steel like cards!
"Dual Chord Cutter!" Eddie yelled as he pulled his axe and scythe out! But the blade on the staff flipped down, resembling an axe! Dashing forward he sliced with the two axes in tandem, rending through the Card knights and causing them to explode into tiny pieces!
