The Ship over the Horizon that Came into view was massive. It was Bigger than Even the Ember, it was much much wider than it and longer. It was almost shaped like a floating dock with how the sides did not curve up, rather leaving the space bordered by tall walls
The Ship was a dark brown with black trim and metal skeletal bits on the outside supports. The Figurehead at the front looked almost Identical to what The Body of Eddies guitar looked like, although more in a Simplistic design. Roughly in the same shape, a small guitar neck rising from the body.
The ship was a full rig ship, many many sails were once hoisted across the wood. Brilliant colors of flags once flapping through the air were now ragged and faded to muddied versions of their original colors, lightly fluttering in the air.
"Thats your ship? A bit of a shit hole…" Leroy bluntly said, Noir elbowing "What!"
"Yes. That's the Allegro Rocker." Eddie said solemnly
It wasn't much longer before the Ember ended up floating at the side of the Ship. A set of stairs was set up to ascend onto the deck of Allegro Rocker.
Moss and mildew covered the planks, Eddies footsteps sounded hollow, then squishy against certain planks on the Deck. Everything across was run down. Planks of the deck cracked, wood on the railing warped to an extreme degree, the persistent smell of 'Old' filling the air. Specifically rotting wood, pungent salt, and must from the moss and vegetation that was growing
"Damn, you really live like this?" Leroy asked again. Kirk now giving a slap to the back of his back "Leroy…"
"It's fine. I assure you. I've been on this Ship for long enough to understand that it is not what it used to be. I and the Sonorous Pirates lived on this ship for over 10 years. I had the ship custom built when I was 21" Eddie Explained
"It was meant to be both home and venue. As you can see by how wide it is. We were a traveling band. The Crew had a hundred people in the End."
"You were able to gather that many under your flag?" Kale asked with a slight smirk. He'd be lying if he didn't find the prospect of an Undead Skeleton fascinating. Especially with what he was taught about what happened after death. Even if he wasn't particularly religious
"I was always told when I was alive that I was quite the Charismatic man. But I don't particularly think thats the man I am any more." Eddie looked over his shoulder before he continued walking around the large deck
Coming to a stop he looked up, a large stage like structure sat in front of him with a banner over the top with the Jolly Roger of the Sonorous Pirates. It was a typical skull and cross bones, but instead of being rounded, it was sharp and angular. From the nose to the eyes. Four thin lines that curved up and down violently on each side.
"The 100 Men and Women were known as the 100 Forte. Each of them had their own 'Bands' so to say." He emphasized with air quotes "As in from time to time, before the main show that was Me and the Sancanorus, the 3 main players. I, the Main Guitarist on my Bass, my Vocalist, My Drummer, and My Guitarist."
"We sailed from Island to Island in the Grand Line, people would pay exuberant amounts of Berry to be able to come and see our shows. They would File onto the ship, The Ships chef making large amounts of food to be sold. From time to time there would be entire Symphonic Orchestras playing, the Entire 100 playing at once as a grand opening to the Show."
"Then there was the Parties…My My The Parties…" Eddies smile grew as he reminisced on his life. "I'll be the first to admit, I certainly had an issue with partying hard. Hard enough that it was like I was running away."
"And In fact I was." His large skeletal hand ran across the raised wood of the Stage. Warped wood shooting out all across its surface
"They would Last for Days. Dawn till dusk. Drinking, Eating. Men and Women filled private rooms on the Island we were staying at. We even had our Regulars. Some would sail all the way out to our next Island just to wait for us. Some even followed us."
"Heh. It was almost like we had our only small fleet of loyal fans. Some of them even joined the Crew over time. Some replaced others, some because other members got into relationships with fans."
He rubbed his fingers together. Feeling the moss and rotted wood crumble between the wood.
"Huff…" Eddie let out a sigh as he turned around. "Thank you. Truly, I am grateful for your Kindness and Hospitality for this Old Man. And Fulfilling a strange favor of his after he scared the life out of you."
Eddie walked slowly across the Deck, coming to a stop in front of the Crew. "I truly wish you all luck on your journey. And if I may ask one thing of you. Take my name. Make sure that it is not forgotten on the Sea and in the History of Music and Metal."
The glow in his eyes shifted into arches as his teeth stretched into a small smile
"Of course!" Jeanne said. "Theres already been plenty progress. I mean theres a whole genre around progressing it…" She said sheepishly with a rub of her neck
"That sounds wonderful." He said, putting his hand on top of Jeannes head
"Are you sure you don't want to join?" Leroy asked. Eddie already had his answer. "I am sure, Leroy. I must look over my Ship, and my Crew. Live out the Rest of my afterlife in peace…" He began to stride away
The Crew were back onto the Ember in mere moments as they watched Eddie enter into a large structure like a galley or quarters.
"Shame…It would've been really cool to have him…" Leroy and the crew readied themselves to disembark when a sudden sound filled the air!
"Leroy!" The Captain snapped around to the voice, running to where it came from. It was Eddie! "Leroy! I need your help!"
