Rumbles and Explosions filled the air, the Ember Blossom rocking against the harsh darks waters, dark clouds above rumbling with thunder and lightning as harsh typhoon like winds and rain pelted the ground
"Titanic Shot!" The Red Sash Captain was in midair, Black button up on his torso, with the typical dark loose fabric pants, the brilliant Red Sash around his waist
His enlarged gigantic fist shot forward and slammed into a ship! Causing it to explode into a cloud of splinters and wood followed by the ammunition of the cannons exploding below the deck in a gigantic explosion!
Dozens of ships surrounded the Blossom, Jeanne had a sniper's nest set up, a window open and firing shots off to the crew on the decks of them.
Running across the decks, a large flat staff spun around in a bone white hand before coming to a stop, a huge blade popping out the top to form a staff! Leaping into the air was a cloaked figure with a large draping black cloth fluttering as they soared!
"Kirk!" Leroy shot through the air and slammed into the Deck "Get this thing moving! We're sitting ducks out here!"
But how exactly did the crew get here? Let's wind back the clock…
It had been a month since Water 9, The Crew was getting the hang of the Ship. There were so many rooms, so many activities to do. And in that time, birthdays passed. All of the crew over the course of a year on the Sea had grown older. And finally, it had been Leroy's turn.
20 whole years old. No longer a teenager. Mamtha was celebrating on Goa with a bountiful dinner for the family. Even Azar had a small treat for himself in honor of his birthday, as did Jack.
Dezzi had also given their Captain a physical to measure his growth, as they did for everyone to keep proper records of their health. He had grown to 6'1 ½ since the East Blue, and now weighed just under 190 lbs.
In the following weeks after, the crew had landed on the island that the log pose had directed them to.
The Island of Hoomaha.
It was Surprisingly Small. Only around a few kilometers wide. It was a shipping island that had a few spots for rest, but was mostly used for storing and hauling goods.
A small pit stop, most on route three tended to ignore it from what the locals said. They asked a few questions, such as what the next island in the route was, but they had no clue. At least who they were talking to.
Kirk figured it made sense if they were so small and only ships were the ones to come to them, they never had to leave.
But the log pose never shifted. In never changed course in the few hours they were there. It just sat there, ticking back and forth like a broken hand on a clock.
So they got what supplies they could. And loaded up, Kirk figured that if there was no other Island. He could certainly just sail to the closest island of another route, and figure out where to go from there.
The Morning was Typical. The crew all woke up at different times through out the morning. And of course, Leroy was one of the Last to wake up. He went through a morning routine that boiled down to 'what do I need to do.'
The Restroom was large, different from the Bathroom. Multiple Sinks lining the walls, where the crew would get ready.
Noir Shaving, Raven getting a light layer of makeup on, Kirk fixing and doing his hair and skin care. And today, Leroy shaved. He had to shave at least once every two days, or else he would end up with a beard like his Grandfathers in only a few weeks. Facial Hair genetics were strong in his family.
Breakfast: Breakfast Sandwiches served on Baguettes with eggs, bacon, ham and cheese and toasted on a pan with a side of hashbrowns, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed juice.
Later into the Afternoon, Jeanne, Leroy and Dezzi were playing a game of Mahou. A complicated game consisting of creatures, magic, and resource management. "So I tap, and–"
Leroy was interrupted by the intercom, Kirks voice coming through the speakers as he sat up at the front of the ship where the control panel and wheel were.
"Okay everyone, we're coming up on a storm! Looks pretty bad, so hold tight." Kirk released the button, eyes squinting as he looked up to the sky. The sky was intensely dark, the sea was extremely calm from where the ember was, but he could see a distance away that the waves became more intense.
"That's weird…" Kirk stood from the seat, and walked over to the edge, a curious look on his face while his gaze scouted the waters. With a quick motion, he unbuttoned his crop top, and leapt over the side! Soaring down the dozens of meters and splashing into the blue water!
His gills opened as he looked around, his eyes adjusted to the water to see clearly around. Then his eyes widened as he swam down.
It was…So strange. There was no fish or sea life anywhere. Not even the tiny minnows or small schools of fish, no coral on sea floor or grass. It was all gone. Nothing was there.
The Sea…Was Empty
