Kirks gaze shifted around has he soaked in the new environment. He wasn't as strong as the other Red Sashes, minus Jeanne and Dezzi. It was like a terrarium, or a conservatory. Tall trees with vines covering them. It had a unique them of a Zen garden mixed in. Tall bamboo shoots rising into the room from close groups of multiple stalks.
With fear in his body, Kirk shot back to the holes in the walls. Aiming his nephobo only to see that- the masked man was gone!
CPA-9 Agent: Hide. The Master of Infiltration and Disguise
Kirk whipped his head around, looking around frantically. "Damn! Where'd he go…"
A sudden pain shot through him! Blood dripped from his arm! A cut! But from what?! His head continued to swivel, looking from place to place! He wasn't feeling any disturbance in the air of high speed movement like he did back in the Mayor's Office.
Again! Another cut! Right across his back! The Fishman screamed out! "Argh!" He lurched forward, hand reaching to his back, searing pain radiating from the wound!
"You coward! Come out!" He shouted, only for a slight snicker to come from the forest around him "Why would I do that? I like to play with my food…And you're far too fun of a toy to not play with!" The voice was high pitched. But it was coming from one direction!
Kirk spun around, and whipped his body around and aimed his bo staff! A huge gust of wind shooting through the forest and causing a well formed hole like a hallway to form right where the voice came from, but a moment before it impacted where the voice was, the dirt disturbed and exploded into a wall of dust and dirt!
'Is he invisible?!' Kirk thought, sharp teeth gritting as he continued looking around, his ears open as waiting to hear the next piece of movement.
The moments were excruciating…Waiting, his heart throbbing in his chest from the anxiety of going up against an opponent that was hundreds of times stronger than him! He knew that he'd have no chance in a one on one against any of these guys! But he was stronger than before!
There! Branches snapped, one after another like a chimpanzee swinging from branch to branch! He could tell the way the wind was aimed, over a decade of work as a navigator informing him of his enemies movement!
"Atmo: Ultra Cyclone!" He slammed his staff into the ground, the tip of his staff beginning to have a torrent of wind above it form! Only to shift and wrap around Kirk, before pushing and expanding out rapidly right as he heard another snapping branch! Hide was coming right for him!
But the underestimating assassin was expecting the cyclone to not be as powerful as it was! Causing him to be sent flying backwards as his finger was extended forward in a shigan!
The moment he was sent back, he appeared! His full body now in few! He wore a simple outfit of skin tight black fabric extenuating his lean figure, he stood at only 5'5. His face covered with a visor like goggles, his mouth, ears and nose covered by a piece of fabric serving as a mask! His brown hair swooped and puffed up to the side sticking out the top, a pair of black skin tight pants as well on his legs, with tabi like boots on his feet while a black utility belt was around his waist.
It wasn't a shigan, it was a set of push knives! Sharp blades poking from his fist as he was pushed backwards! Grinding to a stop!
"Wow, not bad. I'm surprised you were able to predict my movements!" But right before he was about to move again, Kirk aimed his staff again! "Atmo! Cold Snap!"
He yelled as a huge ball of frigid air formed at the top of his snap before firing right at Hide! But it was too slow, the Assassin leaping out of the way and turning invisible yet again, a Devil Fruit that grants the ability of invisibility!
But Kirk's plan wasn't to hit him directly, with his staff still out in front of him, the Frigid Blast continued to spiral out in front of him, his aim shifting and turning around the large room like spraying water from a hose!
After almost 10 seconds of firing, the forest around became nearly frozen solid! Sounds of the ice creaking. The ice sparkling from the frozen grass and trees. His breath was visible as he huffed from the exertion.
His Koi constitution allowed him to survive cold environments well, given that true Koi were cold blooded. But hide didn't have this advantage.
The ground shifted beneath Kirk's shoes as he was on a swivel, looking around. Eyes locked on the slightest hint of movement amidst the frozen landscape.
"Hah…." Hide let out a breath, a large puff of cool mist visibly left his mouth! Kirks eyes locked on as he launched another attack! He needed to be smart about what he was going to choose to do.
"Atmo! Thunderbolt Clap!" With precision, the Navigator was pushed back by recoil as he had both hands on his staff! A large bolt of lightning shooting forth! Arcing through the air, its form harshly zig zagging back and forth!
"Bragh!" Hide screamed out, causing Kirk to smile wide! It was a direct hit! But it wasn't enough! He saw the ground crater again as he leapt away, bouncing around the room again, crawling across the surface and ceiling!
Kirk gripped the top and bottom of his staff, before twisting it and causing it to disconnect and turn into a four section nunchaku! Kirk could tell, based on the lack of movement, that his plan had worked. The frigid air causing frost to form across his body, allowing him to possibly see him, along with the cold causing his movements to slow!
"Sharp Impalement!" Hide screamed as he appeared in front of Kirk! He was to fast! Kirk had to act quick! Using all the speed and strength he could must, he channeled electricity to course through the end of his staff, attempting to bring it down.
It was just close enough to cause the sparks to radiate and attach to hide! Causing him to be shocked mere inches from his chest!
The Navigator was lucky that he was able to think quick enough, even if he couldn't process such speed!
