Leroy looked on, matching eyes with Leery for a moment who returned a sadistic grin of excitement. Only for his eyes to shift below as the bridge began to rise
"Go!" Malle screamed
"Its the bridge!" Jeanne said looking to leroy, who snapped back with a snippy "Yeah I can see that!" His voice sarcastic
Meanwhile Malle in the Control room had finally found the level that activated the bridge to raise, it was quickly doing so, lifting in only a few moments, where he then snapped the metal lever from its place to ensure a way out for the Red Sashes!
Behind him, the door that was blocked began to shutter. Causing Cali to turn around with a look of worry on her face as she suddenly became stuck between both the Citadel and the worry of Malle
"Cali c'mon!" Leroy said as he Leapt down, cradling Jeanne in his arms, while the Noir held Kirk, all jumping down to the Bridge. But-
She hurried over to the hole, despite being now left alone, the balcony doors having slammed shut and the Red Sashes and CPA quickly mobilizing for the coming conflict. "Malle! C'mon! Get up here!"
Her voice was demanding, laced with a sense of concern, moving her Pink bang out of her face. Malles eyes meeting hers. "No…I'm Cali. But I can't come with you any further. I'd just be holding you back."
"What-? What are yo-" She said before being interrupted "You're stronger than me, and If keep going I'll be nothing but dead weight to be dragged along. Slowing you all down. But here I can hold them off. Give you all more time."
"I told you I'd keep you safe. And I'm doing just that." His eyes burned with determination.
"You're talking crazy Mal!" She dropped to her knees, gripping the edge of the hole. Tears welling in her eyes "G-Get your ass up here!"
"Calliope!" He shouted. Loading his large nail gun with an explosive round. Causing her eyes to widen from the shout "Keep goin, alright? Don't let these guys or me stop you. Be good alright?" He gave a slight smirk. Making Calliopes tears flow, a deep furrowed lip and she nodded her head
"Right! I'll see you around, right?" Her voice hitched, but the reassuring but obvious lie met her ears "Of course. No go."
The sound of Cali's sprinting footsteps becoming distant. While the sound of the barricade breaking through replaced it. "Come and get me you pieces of shit!"
The metal shattered forward from an explosive breaching it, smoke filling the room, a CPA 5 Agent coming in with rifle raised, only to have the Explosive bolt meet him, causing his shoulder to explode in a flurry of blood and bone fragments, scream soon following as the blur to reload, the next came in attempting to break into the room point towards Malle, just to be met with a similar fate, a 16in nail firing from his gun and impaling the agent! Sticking him to the wall!
But the next Agent got the drop on him by peeking the entry and firing a shot from his pistol, knocking Malles shoulder, though not penetrating, allowing for a squad to burst in! Taking the Staggered Malle by surprise! Firing shot after shot into the man!
Malle stood firm however, quickly reloading and firing shot after shot into the Agents, the skirmish lasted only mere moments the Red Sashes not even have made it to the citadel!
Dozens of men lay around the Shipwright, nails in them like pin cushions, though the Man wasn't without his own injuries. Enough rounds had been fired into him where they finally penetrated. Leaving him bloody and panting.
The footsteps of even more coming down the Halls reverberated. Telling him clearly that there was nowhere else to go. "Come and get me, all eyes on." He held a large sledge hammer, watching as the men funneled in! Hammerhead coming down with monstrous strength, taking a few with him as he was tackled to the ground! A ruthless beating following.
The beating continued, his view becoming hazy. But the only thing he could do was imagine Cali sailing the sea. It was the last thing he ever saw.
"What's the Plan Leroy?" Noir asked as he ran side by side to the captain, meters away from the large doors. The Captain responding plainly "Kick their asses and get Raven back. Fight anyone you come across, Marine, CPA or one of the CPA 9. We're taking them down!"
Hugo paced the room as he held his hands behind his back. "Everyone get into position. Take your places. Do whatever you can to stop them."
"You, Standa, get out of here with Hugo." Ordered Leery "He'll need protection. I'll take the girl, she's already broken her contract so there's no need for a Trial. In fact, I'll give it to her on the way."
"Roger." Spoke Standa and the Others as they stood to their feet and funneled out of the room. Dispersing through the Citadel.
BAM! Leroy reeled a fist back, and slammed it forward! Breaking the huge thick doors that were a mirror image of the ones on the opposite side of the bridge, sending them flying across the room!
He ran forth! Dozens of squads of CPA firing rounds as Calliope came to the foreground, hands raised and manipulating the Magnetic field to halt the lead nonmagnetic rounds in the air! And with a flinch of her body, she forced all of the weapons to disassemble themselves! Magazines coming from magwells, then disassembling into sidings, springs and screws, all the pieces totally taken apart to their basic components
Like a Fishman controlling water, Calliope waved her hands controlling the mass of metal slamming into the Agents and flinging them away!
"Looks like there's an Elevator." Noir pointed to the far wall. "We should split up, everyone taking on one of the other Assassins." Jeanne said. Kirk agreeing "Thats fucking nuts! But- I think we can take them…"
"I'm going after that bald bitch!" Calliope declared as she forced the parts into a ball that followed her, like a quiver of an archer.
"Alright! I uh…I still have the Den Den, we'll figure out how to get out of here when were done. They were planning to ship her off right? So there's probably a port we can use to get back to Water 9…"
Kale looked behind to see that CPA agents were flying across the bridge "Alright, then lets get going before those guys catch up and waste our time!"
"Right!" The Red Sashes all broke up, scattering across the floor to all the other stairwells, Jeanne running to the Elevator.
