Ravens eyes shot up, a glint in her eyes for a moment. Only for it to falter and fade as she realized what it entailed. Head returning to a sulk as Hugo shot up from his desk and spun on feet to look passed the curtain, seeing Red Sash continuing to yell
"Raven! I'm here for you!" His hand were at his hips, only gesturing with a large scream from his mouth
"Damnit! Fonias is dead…or down…" Hugo stomped over to raven, and gripped her arm harshly, pulling her from her seat and dragging her behind his desk and near the window. "This is your issue, and you're going to fix it. Tell him and that punk crew to leave or I'll call in the buster call right now and force you to watch."
He ripped the curtains open, and opened the tall glass patio doors and pushed her out onto the deck, causing her to stumble, Leroy watching as the other Familiar, and two new faces follow behind, and filled the Patio.
Hugo stood behind Raven as the Tall woman looked at the destruction on the rooftop before her. It filled her heart with both dread and useless sense of enjoyment to see it.
Leroy had a soft smile come to the corners of his mouth as he saw his Scholar. "Raven! I'm here! Don't worry! I'll be up there soo-" He was cut off by the voice of the Archeologist
"Leroy! Leave! Go Away! I told you once already that I don't want you here!" Her words were harsh, and yelling. Like scolding someone that had done something inexcusable
"No! I'm here now! I'm not leaving without you!" He shot back
"Just get fuck out of here Leroy! Let me Die! Please!" Her voice cracked at the plea "If you truly care for me you will listen to me! You'll get the others and leave before any of you get hurt because of me!"
"If you want to die, then you'll just have to do it with me! Not them! That's when I'll know you're speaking the truth! And until then! I need to hear those words!"
"Tell me you want to live, Raven! I know you want to! So tell me! Tell us all you want to Live!!" He shut his eyes as he screamed loud.
The Red Sash Pirates had been in the middle of fighting their way up the many floors of the Exalt, and to the main control room. Beforehand, Calliope said that she may be able to open the gates, but wouldn't be able to open the bridge the crosses it, having been able to sense the magnetic material down below.
"Nail Cushion!" Malle screamed, tossing three nails from his bandolier and then smacking them with such fine precision and finesse that they fired like bullets but were hit like baseballs by the hammers he wielded! Embedding and piercing the Agents that came his way.
"Dove Cry!" Jeanne shot off a volley of Shots of smaller rounds of ammunition that were curved almost like Doves, with the propellant being similar to the Micro CK
"We're almost there!" Kirk said, pointing his finger up to the sign on the wall that showed the way to the control room!
By this point, The Vibrations of Fonias' defeated shook the building, and then the echoes of Leroys words as they slammed into the Control Room! A large white and grey room with black accents, control panels with dials and CPA-2 and 3 Agents all sat up, pulling their pistols from their coats!
"Pouncing Shock Paw!" Dezzi shot forward! Both hands coursing with Electro and running across a Console that sat in the middle of the room like a tightrope! Then zipping from person to person and dispatching the 12 people in the room in under a second! Only once they skid to a stop did the paralysis take effect and cause them all fall to the ground
"How the hell does this stuff all work!" Jeanne said running up to one of the panels, she'd used complex machines and dials on ships before. But never something this advanced and analog! A Set of Monitors, tube and concave glass boxes held images from the cameras, and showed that there were even more reinforcements coming down the halls. And one showed a Wide angle view of Leroy, and another of the full tower from another angle. Raven pleading with him
"Don't mind that! I'll get it figured out!" Malle said, pushing his way forward. "You all still have your destination to get to, and it seems to me that your captain's alone!" He said scouring over the buttons and labels.
"Get up there! I'll make sure the bridge is lifted even if it kills me!"
"Thank you!" Kirk said, as he looked at Kale and gestured to the roof above. Seeing that there was already structural damage from Leroy's fight, but the Agents had persisted in staying
"Gojūyon Kōkei Hirudora" The Swordsman Shouted as he whipped his two swords out and sent a huge gust of wind upwards! Cracking and breaking through the Concrete and creating a hole for him to jump through! Followed by Noir, then Kirk. Then Dezzi with Jeanne in their Arms.
"Thanks Mal…" Calliope said with heaving breath as she looked from the hole, to Malle before embracing him in a hug. Squeezing him tightly for a brief moment before hoping away and commanding all the metal around her to form a wall and barricade the doors!
Leroy looked behind himself for a brief moment to see that the others finally caught up to him, and made their way over to the ledge and the pillars where he stood on. "Raven!"
"See! We're all here for you!" Leroy turned around, shouting again to the Scholar as The Rest all stood near him, one on each pillar only a few feet apart.
Jeanne stood next to Leroy, with Calliope next to him. Kirk next to her. Dezzi to the side of Jeanne, with Noir next to them. And finally at the opposite side stood Kale. All with looks of determination, and resolve on their face as they stood ready, face to face with the Citadel.
