"You two girls alright?" Noir said as he held an arm to block the two of them. "Yeah…Yeah." Jeanne could barely speak as she was attempting not to utterly freakout and breakdown. "Hey-Jeanne?" Calliope asked, using the woman's name for the first time sense learning it
"Is this that Leroy guy?" She asked in a breathless voice, looking at Noir. "Uh? What? No. This is Noir. Our Chef." Noir extended a hand to Jeanne who took it and stood shakeley
'What the hell? He's just the cook?! What kind of guy is this guy's captain?' Cali thought to herself "Oh." She took Noirs hand as well, standing to her feet.
"Let's get you two out of those Cuffs." Noir said, gripping the chains of Jeanne, Before attempting to snap the seastone apart. "Hrngh...Gah! Shit!" Noir let out a sigh letting go "What the hell is this stuff made out of? It's like 100 times stronger than steel!"
"I have no Idea how to pick locks…" Jeanne said. Cursing herself for never picking up the skill when she was younger "Yeah me neither." Calliope added "Where the hell is Kirk when you…Need him…"
Noir began to stop speaking as he looks to the car doors next to him, only for all three of them to run through the cars, passing all the destruction that Noir had caused. 'Damn! What a monster…' Calliope thought as she followed Noir. They quickly made it to the last car door where Noir had entered, the lights of the Rocket Train rumbled closer and closer!
"Oh Holy Shit!" Cali swore as she could barely see it. But it was hauling ass like a donkey souped up on a dose of coffee experiencing an open field for the first time. "Haha! They got it working!"
"There!" Malle said as he suddenly pulled on the break! Sparks flying against the rail and a loud screeching noise reverberated and echoed as it took seconds for the train to come to a slow halt! The Quartet inside reeled forward from the sudden stop.
"Malle!" Calliope said, Hopping off the rail and running up to the train, Malle meeting the pink haired woman and embracing her in a hug, where both would let out an enormous sigh of relief "Oh god, you're safe…"
The two stayed there for in the Embrace. Mainly staying there due to Malle, while the Remaining Red Sashes hopped out of the train and met up with the others "Is Raven on there?!" Leroy shouted, stretching his hand out and leaping over the group, peaking in the first car "No! She's gone." Jeanne said as Kirk got to work picking the lock and uncuffing the Steam Woman. Then getting to work on Calliopes
"Fuck!" Leroy screamed as he slammed his fist into the door frame. It carried so much strength from the outburst that it caused the entire side of the solid steel car to rip and explode into a flare outwards like a can being torn open by a of bear claws
Leroy tried to calm himself. His hands shook violently as he could feel like he was on the verge of a panic attack. Body going through tremors like tectonic plates grinding against each other. "Nononono….Cmon…Get a hold of yourself. You're not gonna lose another one." He tried to reconcile. He was going to lose the Palm. He was not going to lose Raven!
"Hey." A voice called out next to him. It was none other than the Swordsmen himself, having tapped the captain with the handle of his katana. "Relax."
"Yeah." Noir said, adding to the Swordsman's words. Standing to the opposite side of him. "It aint over until she's actually out of reach. And even then. We'll still go after her." The twos words were what the Captain needed to hear. His nerves beginning to calm as he settled his breathing
"Yeah…Yeah…Alright."
"We better hurry!" Malle said from behind the three "That train will make it to the citadel in close to…7 minutes? Quicker if they really kick that train into a risky gear."
"I guess we'll just have to kick our own pace up another gear huh?" Leroy said hopping off the back of the train. "It's gonna take some time to move these trains…" Malle said as he scratched his head. Only to hear the noise of metal creaking. "Holy Shit." Calliope said.
Leroy. With one hand, had lifted the train car up over head! And then tossing it to the side where it the slinked off like a noodle on the edge of a bowl "Ah man. I was hoping That would've done it…" Another crash! Noir had slammed his foot into the train car and caused the rest of it to be sent flying a few meters up into the air! Almost as though it was weightless before crashing into the meters below! A large gigantic splash of misty blue water flying up into the air!
"Hmph!" Kale walked up to the ledge, and took out two swords and swiped them hardly! But with a losseness in his shoulders and waist to create those air slashes that then split the 9 train cars in two! The Bodies of CPA floating out of the metal and to the surface. "That should help it sink."
"Why'd you do that?" Leroy Asked "Why not?"
"Why-What?! Huh?! Why! We could've salvaged it! Don't you know how much it costs to make those?!" Malle screamed with a look of sheer shock on his face. Calliope in the back with a giant smile behind them. "Hahaha! That was awesome! You just picked up like a total of 7,000 tons! With one arm! And then threw it!"
"Well. I didn't expect Calliope to be safe so soon." Malle sighed. Resting his hands on his hips "Cali? We should, we should get back to Winslow…" He said turning and walking back to behind the Train to begin walking. "I've repaid my debt well enough I think. I got you, your crewmate back."
"What?! Malle! You can't be serious! Dude! What is going on!" Cali said with a strange weirded out look on her face, this was so strange! Malle had always been a head on sort of man but now he was slinking back, so strangely so eagerly! "I'm gonna make sure you are okay. That is my Priority. I had a dept to these pirates for helping me save some of the gang. But now, you are my Priority." He didn't even turn to meet the Pink haired woman's gaze
"That! That's nuts! I ain't gonna leave these guys here, I saw that Girl with green or purple hair or whatever! If these guys want to get her back, I'm going with them! They saved me…And like you said. They saved the Gang. And the guy that…Killed my dad is with those suit guys…" She clenched her fist as she spoke.
Malle however, grit his teeth while he shut his eyes tight. He needed to keep her safe. He put the gang in her control because he knew he could trust her, but she was still his responsibility. Winslow had entrusted him with that fact. But- if he knew Cali. And boy did he. He knew she wasn't going to go easy… "Gah! Damnit Calliope! Fine! Okay. Fine."
"Yes! Thank you Malle!" The short woman gave a jump and a quick slap to the man's shoulder, hopping onto the Train she designed. The rest of the Red Sashes follow suit. "Hah…Yeah. No Problem Cali…" He rubbed his shoulder only to move to his neck and finished at the ridge of his nose with a sigh. Being the last to board the Train.
