Minutes Earlier
Galvar leaped into the air, mantling up onto a roof, using this blades to claw into the hardened Clourderia walls!
For Years, He'd worked the fields. For years he was forced to be chained, work against the resistance of starvation and deprivation, for years he was weighed down with so much weight it felt like sometimes he held the entire population of the prison on his shoulders to till at the soil of the fields.
All this to say, all that Slaving, all that starvation, it would've broken and left most men beaten and frail. But Galvar was no mere man.
His Servitude Served to strengthen his Defiance
He leapt from building to building, the pillar of destruction swiping behind him destroying the path he took before focusing his strength into his legs and leaping the tremendous distance up into the air! Arms and legs flailing as he flew straight for Tejolo!
Tejolo hoped that a single blast of destruction should deal with what he thought to be a nuisance. Charging the blast he released a ball of concentrated wind! Blades rippling and flinging through their air in a ball before slamming into Galvar!
But it wasn't enough! Bursting from the blast, Glavar leaked blood from dozens of cuts! The Crimson trailing behind as his blades dug into the side of Tejolo's large skull, just below his cheek! The sting of pain caused Tejolo to Recoil backwards, attempting to whip his serpentine head from side to side to rid his face of the intrusion!
Still not enough! Galvar clung to the side of Tejolo's face, clawing his way up to his eye that was the size of his torso, A Bloody smile was the only thing the Feathered Serpent could see before going black! Galvar pierced the pupil with the twin blades on his right arm!
With a Howl, Tejolo released a blast of Weather from his mouth, whipping from side to side! Finally ridding himself of Galvar!
Flying through the air, Galvar made a harsh impact into the harsh dirt of the Euaderian land mass, bouncing, and skipping across the ground before skidding to a stop against a tree, a harsh crack against the wood
"Ha- Ack…Agh…" What a Strange Feeling. The feeling of brand new terrain beneath his body. Dirt sifting beneath his knees, it was far coarser than Clouderia. Clumped the same. Brown like his skin, green grass. A color he'd only seen in the trees of Bala, or from complex dyes and fish from the white sea.
Shoving his blades into the ground he raised to his feet, resting across the rough bark of the tree. Yet another strange texture different from Bala.
Looking over his bleeding arm and damp hanging hair, Galvar could see a group of Men with wide white wings. The Euaderians
"You. Are you with the Invaders?" Asked one in a deer pelt. A Skin that Galvar had never seen before. "Does it look like it?"
The Man looked him up and down, the nubs of feathers where his wings had been clipped off, his hands and makeshift weapons told him everything he needed to know. "I suppose not."
"Then Who are you?" A Female warrior with a boar pelt around her waist , that was also made to use a top that covered her torso for battle spoke
"The one whos gonna stop all this." He declared confidently, pushing away from the tree and walking over to them
"You warriors?"
"Yes. We don't know how we ended up here. Perhaps a punishment from Mother Nature."
"Mother Nature?" Galvar perked an eyebrow. His people had no such concept. But Euaderians had gained it from those that traveled by their island on the blue sea. Shaking his head he dismissed it. "Nevermind that. You've got good handy work with those spears. Where are the rest of you?"
The Woman thought for a moment, deliberating if she should answer. "In the inner jungle, at Thiya"
"Good, keep 'em There. I'll make sure they stay safe." He said as he huffed in fatigue.
"But why? Why care?" Asked the man
"If it's true the Sun God sent you. Then I need to pay my thanks to you for allowing me to be set free. And if not, I thank you for the same either way."
Sun God? They had Stories of The Sun God. Perhaps that was who sent them into the sky. Or perhaps it was their Faith that led them to that conclusion.
"Whatever it is. Can you all still fight?"
They looked between one another. There weren't many spears left. But they did have a few tricks. One stepped forward, fur on their shoulders as their hands coated in scales, and another pooled wind into their palm. A Devil Fruit user, and a user of the element of air, an ability able to be granted to those with wings
"Fortunates…And a User of the Wind." Galvar muttered under his breath
"We call them Cursed Fortunate. They may be cursed, but their abilities bring great gifts." Noted the man, commenting on the similar phrase that Galvar had mentioned.
"Good. I'll need your help as I try to get Tejolo back to being human. If that's even possible." He said turning around. Stopping as he asked. "I'm Galvar. Whats your name?"
"Chief Loup" Spoke the one with a Wolf pelt.
"Alright Chief, back me up will you?" Loup didn't say anything but nod. Looking to the others who raised their weapons and readied themselves.
"Lead the Way Galvar"
