Chapter 241 - They Came From The Blue Sea

A Chill ran down both Coatl and Galvars spine. This old man, Aktani, was from the Sherokine People. He had seen the Actions of Tejolo's predecessor. Molca. He too Possessed the powers of Wokan. But now, he was one of the very few that remembered its practice.

"Taona" He Began to speak again. Coatl and Galvar shifted their gaze. All of the Sky People had known of the Sun God. Be it in their own way much like the Father or Mother Moon. But the Pectise had a specific belief about this entity.

"His light has shown on us…Setting us free…"

The Pectise Believed that The Sun God, Taona, was the Great Liberator. He who wrought the freedom of the soul all where his light shone. That when a person was born, his light shined into their bodies, illuminating their souls and giving them autonomy. This was also what gave them the ability to learn the ability of their soul. Wokan.

Aktani clasped his hands together and began to pray. Uttering their thanks to this God. If he may be listening. Galvar bowed his head with the Man. And even Coatl, despite having come from the Tolamayz, and being imprisoned after having turned against his Masters. Clasped his own hands together.

The City of Molca Burned as the Large chunk of land left a Massive crater in the middle of the Sprawl. Deep fissures like gashes into the Clouderia webbed across the terrain. From the Crater, a Ledge that terminated up into the air at close to 80 meters, like that of two buildings stacked on top of one another, and stretched for almost a Kilometer back and around. The Flow of Water that was known as the Jet Stream ceased, leaving the land mass wedged into the ground like a giant plug in the hole

Dark skinned winged men with caps made of animal skulls and pelts of animals that the Talomayz Warriors had never seen. Only for the Reality to merely be that they were pelts of wolves. Tools and weapons made of Metal. Spears and Bows. Arrows beeing slung through the air and piercing through the chests' of Tolamayz Warriors.

Citizens scattered like ants at the sight of water. Some were horrified at their homes being destroyed by a seemingly Divine act of wrath. Others figured it to be divine retribution for the actions of the Tolamayz, Molca and Tejolo

The Feathered Serpent swooped through the air, and with fangs bared impaled them into a group of these new Invaders! Blood and viscera staining Tejolo's teeth as he flew!

"My Warriors of Blood and Stone! Purge these Incessant Invaders! Those Foul things of the tribes we've conquered have brought these Monsters here!"

The roar of words seemed to rile the warriors. Releasing a roar of their own as they took up arms against these strange new people.

One of the Warriors from the Blue sliced a Talomayz down the middle with an iron bladed polearm! Their jade mask falling into two as blood erupted "Eauderians! Hold the Line! Protect those in the Inner Jungle!"

The Entire Land mass Had been Suddenly Sheared from the island below. At the Time it was known as Eauderia. But eventually it would come to be known as Jaya Vanem. Ruins of their Once Large Expanse of Stone Buildings within their Village was now in ruins. The Sea Quake that Presided the Jet Stream alerted everyone on the Island below to evacuate to the Capital Closer into the Jungle. But not everyone was able to make it in time.

When the Jet Stream pushed the Capital into the Sky, it created a Vacancy in the Crani Jungle. Eventually becoming known as Hallow Hallow. A Deep Crater surrounded by Crumbled ancient Stone Buildings.

The Journey into the Sky left many injured, fatigued, and out of breath. But those of the Warrior sect were used to traveling close to the clouds. And were able to defend their people.

Violence was not their first choice. The warriors that were on the edge of the island when they burst through the foundation of Talomayz's settlement attempted to plead in confusion to the first that appeared. But they were attacked nonetheless as demons

They resorted to what they trained for, and what they had already fought against. With in the Island of Jaya Vanem there had been those that attempted to take what was theirs before.

With a Roar of their own, Euaderians readied their spears, their shields, and their bows. They held their ground, and began a counter assault against these warriors!

The Slaves and Prisoners of the Last remnants of the Sky Islanders sat outside of their prison. Talks and Whispers of what to do next were amongst the huddled masses. Those that were strong enough to take care of those that were punished and starved were fed what was kept in store houses.

Galvar sat on a log, his gaze focused on the blaze only a number of Kilometers away. His wounds had been treated, but now he affixed blades to leather straps, tightening them with his teeth. Leaving his stubs no longer useless, but now refined and sharpened weapons.

"Galvar?" Aktani walked up to him. A Bala Wood bowl in hand. A broth inside of it "Drink this."

Galvars gaze shifted, and took the bowl in his hand. The brown sludge with specks of what looked to be bits and pieces of fungi. "What is it?" Galvar asked in a rasped tone.

"Medicine. Once you drink it, your fatigue will leave you. And your body will return to the feeling right."

Aktani Continued to explain that it would make him feel better. And allow him to use his full strength, it did not heal him or bring him back to health.

Cotal walked over to the two and took a whiff of the bowl. His nose winced "That is not a good smell. You sure it'll do what he says?"

Galvar however ignored the man and tipped the rim up to his lips and let the liquid slide down his throat.

It burned like cinnamon, and tasted like grass and mud after rain. But even as he swallowed it all down he could feel the effects take hold rather quickly. The stinging sensation of his wounds were replaced by a sense of revigorization. Like he'd just awoke from the best night of sleep in his life.
