'Where am I?' he muttered.
Towering trees surrounded him, their trunks stretching high into a dim canopy that blocked most of the light.
He took a step and staggered. The gravity pressed down on him—at least fifty times heavier than what he used to. Even drawing in air was hard.
Closing his eyes, he steadied his breathing and drew on his energy. It wrapped around him, pushing back against the crushing weight and boosting his strength.
After a few seconds, he found his balance and managed to move with some effort.
He remembered sitting in his library, reading quietly—then nothing. Darkness, and now this place.
'Is this part of Father's training? '
It was the only explanation that made sense. Only Asher had the power to throw him into a situation like this.
'I need to get a better view of this place first,'
