In the woods, there was a young man training and training, crazily. His muscle Physique was impressive, but the young man didn't stop. He was swinging the wooden sword over and over again, until he dropped the sword in pain. His hands hurt like hell, but the man slowly picked up the sword again and was ready to swing again. His face showed pain and determination. He swings the sword before he fell down suddenly, he was breathing heavily. His body was sweating constantly and continuously, he stood there for a while. Time was going slowly going by.
???: "Damnit, I been training for 5 years but I only made small process in this world..."
This was Perrin and yes, he is a time traveler. He died by a heart attack, and he knew where he was at. He was at a forest that nobody knew about, and he was training, why? Because he is in demon slayer! If he doesn't train and get strong, he would die just like last time!
Perrin: "where is my system or something? Who am I kidding, it unless complaining about it. It will never happen; I waited for 5 years and still nothing!"
Perrin quickly gets his anger under control and was about to rest until he suddenly dodged for no reason. Luckily, he dodged the claws that ripped a tree easily. Perrin jumped away and looked at the thing who attacked him. Perrin was instantly felt fear, it was a demon!
Random Demon: "Food! I'm so hungry! Flesh! Those damn demon slayers are a pain, but I escape and I'm hungry! Come here human and get in my mouth!"
Perrin Dodged another attack again somehow. It was a Miracle that Perrin could dodge these attacks from this demon. After a few seconds, Perrin felt tried because of his own training Regimen. After Perrin dodged another attack and the next one came and connected. He ripped his skin and bones easily. Perrin was knocked back and his back connected with a tree, breaking more bones in the process. Perrin could only see blood and he felt dizzy, he was losing blood but couldn't do anything about it because of his broken bones. The demon was slowly going closer to Perrin and his claws were near his neck, ready to kill Perrin with his claws.
Random Demon: "Okay human, any last words? I feel great ful today."
Perrin barely could hear the demon words and when he thought that he was going to die, A ring was heard in his mind.
Dang! The Multiverse travel system has been unlocked! Opening Random character template.... dang! You have gotten the Pezo template. You have gotten a skill called weak Adapt body LV: 1 (0/100)

Perrin's vision blurred as the demon's claws neared his throat, his mind racing with fear and desperation. But then, the sudden ring in his mind brought a glimmer of hope.
"The system? Finally!"
His heart pounded as the message appeared before his eyes. His injuries quickly healed because of the pure power coming inside his body. The demon was surprised, and his eyes were wide open, shocked. Perrin's body surged with newfound energy, the pain in his bones vanishing as his wounds sealed themselves. His muscles tightened, his mind cleared, and the world around him seemed to slow. The demon's shocked expression told him everything he needed to know—this wasn't something it expected. He was excited in his mind and said happily
Perrin: "I don't know what this Pezo template is... but I'll take whatever help I can get."
His hand clenched the wooden sword once more, now steadier, his grip firm as if it had never wavered. The weak adaptation was slowly kicking in, and though it was just the beginning, it was enough to give him an edge. He felt his body learning, adjusting, becoming more attuned to the demon's energy.
Random Demon: "Impossible! You were half dead just a moment ago!"
Perrin just smiled and sword his sword at the demon, the wooden sword cut the demon in half. This shocked demon and annoyed it a bit, but Perrin was even more shocked. He just slashed A demon in half with almost no difficulty! Perrin gain more convenience but didn't let his guard down knowing the demons can't die unless there was sun light, or you had as word with the sun ore or a Nichirin Blade. The demon looked at Perrin pissed and spoke.
Random Demon: "You... you think a wooden sword can kill me?! You're nothing but a fool!"
The demon's body began to regenerate, its two halves stitching back together with pretty terrifying speed. Perrin's momentary victory turned to dread as he watched the demon rise once again, snarling with rage. The demon looked pretty tried after the regeneration, but he still attacked Perrin. Perrin was waiting for the sunlight to come up. The demon looked madder and completely forgot about the sunlight coming ever so closely to the surrounding Area.
Perrin, still feeling the rush of newfound energy from the system, dodged the demon's strikes with increasing agility. His weak adaptation skill was slow but steady, helping him predict the demon's movements, as if his body was learning each attack.
Perrin thought to himself, I can't keep this up forever. My body's adapting, but it's still not enough to actually kill this thing. I need time...
The demon snarled, its claws slashing through the air in a frenzy, "You can't run forever, human! I'll tear you apart and devour your flesh!"
Perrin felt the weight of fatigue starting to creep in. His training had pushed him to his limit, and now this battle was draining him further. But he noticed something— the sky. Slowly, the darkness of the night was giving way to the faintest glow of dawn.
He gripped his wooden sword, positioning himself between the demon and the rising sun. If he could just stall for a little longer, he'd have a chance.
The demon lunged again, and this time Perrin didn't dodge. Instead, he parried with his wooden sword, the demon's claws grazing his shoulder but not piercing through. Pain shot through his body, but he held firm.
Perrin grinned through the pain, his voice a low growl, "You're right. I can't kill you with this sword." He glanced over the demon's shoulder. "But I don't need to."
The demon paused, confused, then followed Perrin's gaze. Its eyes widened in horror as the first rays of sunlight broke through the trees. In an instant, its skin began to sizzle and smoke, the light slowly burning it away.
"No! Not like this!" The demon screeched, trying to retreat into the shadows, but Perrin was faster, blocking its path.
"You're not going anywhere," Perrin said, watching as the demon's body was consumed by the sunlight. The creature howled in agony, its form disintegrating into ash.
As the demon's final cries faded, Perrin collapsed to the ground, exhausted but alive. He breathed heavily, staring up at the morning sky, the adrenaline slowly wearing off.
Dang! You killed a demon! You have gotten +1% in Pezo template!

Perrin lay on the ground, drenched in sweat, staring up at the sky as his breath came in ragged gasps. His body ached in ways he had never experienced before, but he was alive. The system, which had eluded him for five long years, had finally activated. The message about his template progress was clear, but the thought of only having reached 2% after all this time was daunting.
Perrin chuckled, though it hurt to do so. "Two percent... after killing a demon. This is going to take forever." He sat up slowly, wincing as he moved. His body, while healed, was still worn from the battle and the relentless training he'd put himself through. The wooden sword lay beside him, a reminder of how far he still had to go. He glanced at the system's interface again, reading over the "Weak Adapt Body" skill description. He needed more—much more—if he was going to survive in this world of demons and slayers.
"Pezo template, huh?" Perrin muttered to himself, thinking back to the name that had come up during the system's activation. He didn't recognize it from any stories he knew, but the ability to adapt to energy sounded promising. He would just have to figure out how to use it effectively. If he could adapt faster, he might stand a chance.
But first, he needed to rest and recover.
After a bit of resting, he started training again. Hours went by and Perrin made some process on his new skill, including the mastery on how to use it better.

Perrin, who was pretty tried, noticed something and said to the system.
Perrin: "uh, can you please add like a power scaling for this world or maybe this universe?"
Dang!
Status has been open:

Power scaling: Abnormal demon slayer

Perrin was confused and ask the system his questions.
Perrin: "So uh, why am I called abnormal? And how high is that rank? plus can you show me the ranks too in this world?"
Dang!Power scaling ranks:
Mizunoto (Lowest rank)Mizunoe
Kanoto
Kanoe
Tsuchinoto
Tsuchinoe
Hinoto
Hinoe
Kinoto
Kinoe (Highest non-Hashira rank)
Hashira (Elite Slayers)
Your current rank: Abnormal Demon Slayer
Perrin blinked at the ranking display. "Abnormal?" he muttered. "What does that mean?"
The system continued:
Explanation:"Abnormal" refers to an individual who does not fit within the standard ranks of the Demon Slayer Corps. Due to your unique abilities and the process of adapting to your template, you stand outside the conventional scaling. Your power develops differently from regular demon slayers, which may result in rapid, unpredictable growth—depending on how you master the Weak Adapt Body skill and your template. This gives you the potential to exceed ordinary slayers in specific situations. However, your progression remains uncertain and unique.
Perrin frowned, his mind buzzing with possibilities. "So, I'm outside the normal system... That could be either really good or really bad." He chuckled to himself. "Typical of my life."
Perrin: "Okay, Let's kill more demons and see if I can get this template increase."
As the sun dipped lower, the air grew colder, and the forest around Perrin seemed to darken unnaturally fast. He could feel it—an oppressive energy, like the very air was tinged with malice. His grip tightened on the wooden sword, still far from the Nichirin Blade he truly needed.
Then, he heard it—rustling in the bushes. A low growl, followed by the faintest glimmer of red eyes in the shadows. Perrin's heartbeat quickened. Another demon had found him.
From the underbrush, a twisted figure emerged—a demon with a hunched back, elongated arms, and claws that glistened in the dim light. Its mouth dripped with saliva; its eyes fixated on Perrin.
"More food," the demon hissed, its voice grating and eager. "A demon slayer? And without a real sword? Pathetic!"
The demon lunged.
Perrin dodged, narrowly avoiding the swipe of its claws. He swung his wooden sword in retaliation, aiming for the demon's head, but the demon caught the blade with ease.
"You think this stick can hurt me?" the demon sneered, pushing Perrin back with a wave of force. Perrin stumbled but regained his footing.
"Not yet," Perrin growled, sweat dripping down his face, "but give me a minute."
The adaptation was kicking in, bit by bit. His body was adjusting to the demon's speed, its strength, its movement patterns. It was slow, but every second he spent surviving was another second closer to being able to turn the fight in his favor.
The demon slashed again, faster this time, and though Perrin barely managed to parry the blow, he felt his body moving more fluidly. The system had recorded enough of the demon's attacks for him to start countering.
Perrin lunged forward, slashing the wooden sword across the demon's chest. It wasn't deep, but it was enough to make the demon snarl in frustration.
You
"How...? You're somehow adapting," the demon hissed, realizing the change.
"That's right," Perrin grinned through the pain in his muscles. "You won't be the last demon I face, and with each one of you, I'll get stronger."
The demon's rage was palpable as it charged, determined to end Perrin before he could fully adapt. But Perrin was quicker now, more precise. He dodged the demon's wild strikes, ducking under its claws and delivering a solid blow to its leg.
The demon howled in pain, stumbling back. And then Perrin saw it—the sky was getting brighter, but the faint glow of sun shone through the canopy. The demon's skin flickered in the light, its regeneration struggling against the damage Perrin was inflicting and the influence of the rays of the sun.
This was his chance.
Perrin darted forward; his sword raised. He aimed for the demon's neck, not to kill, but to disable—long enough for the sunlight to finish the job. His wooden sword connected with a satisfying crack, and the demon collapsed to the ground, its body sizzling in the sunlight burning him into dust.
Dang! You have killed a demon! You have gained +1% in Pezo template!
Perrin's breathing was heavy, his body aching, but the rush of victory course through him and the flow of energy inside him. He felt way stronger now. He checked the system again in a quick motion.
Status update:
Name: Perrin
Template process character: Pezo (human)
Template process: 3%
Skills: Weak adapt body LV: 1 (33/100) – Adaptation is accelerating slightly. Your body now adjusts more quickly to energy-based attacks and demon movements, but it still costs physical stamina.
Perrin collapsed to his knees, a little tried but alive. He looked up at the sky, the sunlight illuminating his path.
"One more percent..." He chuckled weakly. "At this rate, it's going to take Clearly hundred demons just to get anywhere."
But he wasn't discouraged. If he could adapt faster, fight smarter, then one day he'd be strong enough to face even the most terrifying demons in this world. One day, he might even be able to become a Hashira—if the system allowed it.
For now, though, it was back to training and Perrin had demons to hunt.
