I lunge at her just as she charges at me. Our speeds are almost matched, but she's slightly faster. Just before we collide, I use my tail against the ground like a spring and leap over her, causing her to miss her strike.
"..." Right now, I'm thinking of the best way to fight. Lately, I've been relying too much on magic. Maybe it's a good thing I can't use it here; it'll force me to focus on evolving physically and spiritually.
I really need to learn how to manipulate souls, to understand them. And then there's the matter of soul creation, which I still don't grasp, even though I understand universal laws.
