Sisi had not walked far from the bathroom when she accidentally slipped and almost fell. Fortunately, a young man behind her caught her in time.
"Thank you!"
Sisi gratefully expressed her thanks after she steadied herself. If she had really fallen, she was afraid her dress would have gotten dirty.
"You're welcome!" The man's voice who helped Sisi was a bit hoarse and deep, but not unpleasant to listen to.
When Sisi looked up, the man's eyes flashed with amazement. He had not expected that such a beautiful girl could exist in this world. Indeed, as the ancients said, to add a fraction more would make her too chubby, and to subtract a fraction would make her too skinny – here was the real personification of that!
Sisi was already accustomed to such gazes. After thanking him again, she was about to leave when she spotted a puddle of water on the ground, with a trace dragged over it – right where she had just stepped.
