The driver's face changed colors as he repeatedly examined the banknote to make sure it wasn't joss paper before relaxing slightly.
Just as he contemplated taking the cell phone and money to the police station to file a report, An Ying had arrived with his men. Without saying a word, he snatched the phone from the driver's hand and then stared down at him with a razor-sharp gaze, "You better explain clearly to me how this phone ended up in your hands."
The driver was intimidated by An Ying's fierce presence. Glancing at him and the man standing behind him, he said, "Just... just now a kid left it behind."
An Ying immediately asked, "Where is he?"
The driver honestly confessed, "I don't know. I saw him, so young out on his own so late, and I thought to bring him to the police station. But as soon as I stopped the car, he vanished, leaving only a cell phone and some money."
