Sara hesitated for a moment, looked at Chuchu, and said, "My car can only seat two people. She should take the car Jacob arranged. After all, Lillian is targeting you, not her."
"No need." Ming Wan's gentle voice carried a firm refusal, "I don't believe Andrew would let Lillian harm me."
Sara wanted to persuade her, but Ming Wan remained stubbornly resolute and refused to listen. Sara had no choice but to turn to Chuchu, who shrugged, indicating she couldn't help.
Just then, Jacob personally came to escort them out; he wasn't at ease with Sara after all.
Ming Wan elegantly adjusted her scarf and was the first to walk out, with Chuchu carrying their luggage and following behind.
"What's this?" Jacob asked.
Ming Wan turned back, "It's my wedding gift for Andrew. Why? Does Housekeeper Jacob want to inspect it?!"
