The next morning, as soon as Wan Chu'er got out of bed, she received a call from Jiang Kechu.
"Come downstairs."
Lin Yufei and Mai Qiqi, still asleep in the dormitory, watched Wan Chu'er tiptoe to the balcony. Looking down, she saw Jiang Kechu's car parked downstairs, with him leaning against the hood, looking languid yet dazzling.
Some early-rising girls leaving the dormitory just happened to see Jiang Kechu and couldn't help blushing, stealing glances over and over.
Indeed, Jiang Kechu was so striking; his tall stature, handsome face, along with his military background, endowed his features with sharpness and a rugged charm that was utterly captivating.
Wan Chu'er pursed her lips with a smile and quickly went back to dress and freshen up, grabbing her bag before heading down.
"I'll take you out for breakfast, then bring you back in time for class," Jiang Kechu said as he took her bag with one hand and wrapped his other arm around her the moment he saw Wan Chu'er.
