Darien was stunned when he heard this.
He looked at Kiera in confusion, not understanding why she said that: "What do you mean by 9:55? I... I don't understand what you're trying to say..."
Kiera immediately pressed him: "I mean, when you called her to go out, why was it exactly at 9:55?"
Darien was bewildered: "I called her at 9:55? I had no idea!"
As he spoke, he took out his phone and checked his call logs. Only then did he realize that he really had called at 9:55.
Even he couldn't make sense of it: "I just randomly dialed! How would I know the exact time?"
From his expression, he didn't seem to be lying.
But to be sure, Kiera turned to Erin.
Erin immediately asked: "Why are you looking at me?"
Kiera: "Check if he's been hypnotized too."
"Oh."
Erin stepped forward and examined Darien's pupils, then shook her head: "No, he hasn't."
Kiera frowned: "Then what's going on?"
The clues seemed to abruptly come to a halt here.
