Jade's consciousness slowly surfaced. His eyelids felt unusually heavy, as though sleep refused to release him. The first thing he noticed was the silence.
The room, which had been filled with hurried breaths and moans only hours ago, had become tranquil. Moonlight spilled through the tall windows, painting silver rectangles across the marbled floor.

Jade blinked several times before realizing it was already nighttime. Then, heat rushed to his face. He and Claude did it like rabbits in heat!
"...Claude?" He called out since he didn't see him on the bed. His voice came out rough, barely louder than a whisper.
There was no answer from the open door of the bathroom.
Jade slowly pushed himself upright. The moment he shifted his weight, a dull ache spread through his body, forcing a quiet groan from his lips. He immediately froze, one hand instinctively gripping the mattress as he waited for the discomfort to subside.
