Just how strong was Hui with his Celestial Eye fully activated?
There hadn't been a clear understanding before, as it had been a long time since Hui had gone all out in a fight with his Celestial Eye unleashed.
His last opponent who could be considered powerful enough was Imu, a the sovereign of world government form One Piece world.
Unfortunately, Imu wasn't a true powerhouse, and Hui hadn't intended to truly fight him; their battle ended too quickly.
This time, however, the Captains of the Gotei 13 in the Bleach world provided Hui with the opportunity to engage in an exhilarating battle with his Celestial Eye fully activated.
Although Hui didn't utilize his Space affinity in this fight, his swordsmanship alone was sufficient to deal with these Captains.
After all, while these Captains were Shinigami, wielding powers that ordinary people considered incredibly strong, they ultimately remained within the realm of "humans," not having ascended to the next level.
At this "human" level, factors like individual strength, speed, technique, experience, reflexes, and willpower determined the outcome of a battle.
Even though they used Reiryoku, it still operated within the confines of physical laws.
After activating his Celestial Eye, Hui overwhelmingly surpassed the average in all these attributes that determined victory at this level.
Therefore, once Hui went all out, the result of this battle was predetermined.
Boom!
A body flew backward, smashing a deep crater into the earth.
Byakuya Kuchiki lay in the pit, gazing at Hui, who was wreaking havoc in the sky, a sense of powerlessness washing over him.
This wasn't the first time he had been so thoroughly defeated. And he wasn't alone. All the Captains present were injured, and not lightly.
Sajin Komamura's mouth dripped with blood, Toshiro Hitsugaya was wreacked, Jushiro Ukitake was pale, Mayuri Kurotsuchi's eyes held fear, Shunsui Kyoraku's face was contorted in pain, Kenpachi Zaraki was barely alive, Soi Fon trembled, Unohana gasped for breath, and even Yamamoto bore wounds.
Excluding the defected Aizen, Gin Ichimaru, and Kaname Tosen, the remaining ten Captains of the Gotei 13, despite their combined efforts against a single opponent, were beaten so badly.
This was something Byakuya had never imagined.
It was also something the ten Captains present had never imagined. If ordinary Shinigami witnessed this scene, they would be utterly shocked, unable to believe their eyes.
Fortunately, this battle was too intense, the aftershocks too terrifying. Ordinary Shinigami dared not approach this area.
Only Lieutenant-level Shinigami and seated officers could come here, but their arrival wouldn't change the outcome of the battle.
They couldn't alter a thing.
In fact, their condition was worse than the Captains. The Captains could at least continue fighting, could still stand.
But the Lieutenants and seated officers who had tried joining in lay scattered on the ground, groaning in pain.
"Hahahaha!"
Hui felt an immense exhilaration within him.
He was fired up, no longer limiting himself to swordsmanship. With a casual wave of his hand, he unleashed various techniques utilizing Reiryoku as their source, clashing head-on with the Captains.
He countered Yamamoto with flames, attacked Toshiro Hitsugaya with ice, and engaged each Captain with a corresponding technique, reveling in the intense battle.
For a time, the sky was filled with flames, hail rained down, fierce winds howled, waves surged, and rocks flew.
The appearance of these techniques plunged the Soul Society experts into deeper despair.
They were left speechless, overwhelmed by Hui's endless arsenal of attacks.
They should consider themselves lucky.
Lucky that Hui didn't intend to kill them in this battle. Though all were severely injured, almost none perished.
The few deaths that occurred were solely due to those individuals attempting to block attacks beyond their capabilities, essentially seeking their own demise.
The battle lasted for a considerable duration, a little over an hour.
This hour-long fight caused an escalating commotion within Soul Society.
Starting from the immediate vicinity, the disturbance spread throughout Seireitei, then across most of Soul Society.
Shinigami after Shinigami sensed this terrifying battle unfolding.
And when the final, dazzling sphere of light erupted like a blazing sun, when the world spanning sword light tore across the heavens, every Shinigami in Soul Society who witnessed it gasped, their hearts pounding, eyes wide with disbelief.
This scene would become an unforgettable memory for them.
It also became a topic of endless discussion among countless Shinigami.
They only knew that a terrifying battle had erupted in Soul Society that day, that the Captains, Lieutenants, and seated officers of the Gotei 13 seemed to have suffered grievous injuries.
But who, or who exactly had fought against these Captains, remained unknown.
Some Shinigami attempted to discreetly inquire about the battle, seeking to understand who or what could inflict such damage upon Soul Society's strongest fighting force.
But alas, every Shinigami who experienced the battle remained tight-lipped, refusing to speak.
Moreover, whenever questioned about this matter, their expressions shifted. Perhaps subtly, but some observant Shinigami still noticed it.
This change was most apparent on the faces of the Lieutenants and seated officers. It was...fear.
Consequently, no Shinigami dared to inquire further.
This event became Soul Society's greatest mystery in a millennium.
Hui had single-handedly fought his way into becoming a taboo subject within the hearts of these Captains.
He, however, remained unconcerned.
For Hui, the greatest gain from this battle was simply the satisfaction of his desire for combat, and it was merely the fulfillment of a desire for a fight that wasn't entirely satisfying.
Beyond that, there were no other gains.
After the battle, he merely strolled through the various squads in Seireitei and the residences of the noble families, observing things that piqued his interest.
Thus, he concluded his journey in Soul Society and returned to the human world.
Back in the human world, Hui resumed his previous life, continuing his research, delving deeper into the study of Reiryoku and beginning to research Zanpakuto.
He hadn't harboured idea of abandoning Zhi Yi for a Zanpakuto.
In Hui's view, Zhi Yi was the most suitable for him, and a Zanpakuto couldn't replace it.
His reason for researching Zanpakuto was simply to understand the power they contained.
Thus, the world seemed to fall calm once again.
Time passed, the force of the fate of the world moved onward.
Ichigo Kurosaki encountered Rukia Kuchiki, the gears of fate turned, and the passionate story began.
Hui didn't intervene in the plot, nor did he have much interest in the current storyline.
What interested him now was a potential fusion of Aizen with the Hogyoku, Yhwach, and the Soul King.
