In an instant, the white-haired girl thrust her hands forward. Ice spread across the entire area like wildfire, freezing everything in its path. The creatures that had been swarming around them became motionless statues in the blink of an eye, their grotesque forms locked in whatever position they'd been caught in.
Lightning crackled to life beside her as sparks erupted from her teammate. He moved with incredible speed, becoming nothing more than a blur as he darted between the frozen enemies. She could barely track his movements with her naked eye, but that didn't mean she couldn't follow him if she wanted to. If she activated her mana sense, he would become as predictable as a novice trying to find an opening against a seasoned veteran.
