The illusion Michael had established around the area had been destroyed long ago, unable to withstand the terrifying lightning that descended during the old man's advancement.
With the illusion gone, everything in the surrounding area was exposed, including Michael himself. However, he maintained another illusion that allowed others to see him while keeping Isabella concealed. It also masked his actual reactions, making it appear as though he had been standing still the entire time.
Currently, he was under the observation of numerous powerful supernaturals from Aurora, something he didn't find particularly troublesome.
Although his relationship with Aurora was somewhat unusual, there wasn't much genuine hostility between them.
At least, not enough for either side to regard the other as an enemy.
Quite a few of the supernaturals recognized him, and upon noticing that Michael had no intention of concealing himself, they approached to offer their greetings.
