The battle had only started a few minutes ago, yet four people had already died. Normally, the deaths of four enemies would have been good news, but for Timi and Lily, they had only made the battle more difficult.
After discovering that killing Lon's followers only made him stronger, the two stopped attacking them. Still, just because they had stopped didn't mean Lon would willingly fight in a weakened state, despite his hypocritical claims.
"Damn it!"
Timi gritted his teeth.
This was getting ridiculous. At first, he had believed that defeating Lon would be relatively straightforward with Lily's assistance. Yet the man's strange ability had made the entire confrontation far more troublesome than he had expected.
We can't keep fighting like this.
Timi launched another attack. With a burst of speed, he appeared beside Lon and thrust his dagger toward the man's chest.
