"Kaminari, look at this!"
Inside the black car, Momo suddenly turned her phone screen toward Kaminari, who was seated beside her. On it was a video showing a Nomu emerging from the black sludge.
The video clearly captured the terrified expressions of men, women, and children fleeing in panic, as well as armed police firing their weapons to protect the civilians.
"It looks like something changed on All Might's end. Otherwise, it wouldn't be this chaotic," Kaminari said expressionlessly.
But in the next second, his expression changed drastically, as he suddenly remembered what that black sludge was.
Back during the USJ incident, this was the very substance that allowed the League of Villains to escape!
In other words, that black sludge could not only teleport Nomu in—it could also teleport people away!
"Could Kyoka have..." Kaminari's face turned grim as he voiced his suspicion.
Momo nodded thoughtfully and agreed, "You're right. There's a high chance Kyoka-chan isn't with All Might and the others anymore."
"What do we do?!" Tetsutetsu asked anxiously.
"Stop the car!" Kaminari suddenly shouted to the driver. Then he turned to Momo and Tetsutetsu. "Momo, Tetsu, you two keep heading to All Might. Maybe they'll be able to rescue Kyoka."
"What about you?" Momo looked at him, confused.
"Kyoka may have been teleported elsewhere, but there's a high chance she's still in Kamino City. I'll fly up and use radar to locate them!" As he said this, Kaminari had already opened the car door, ready to leap out.
"Did you forget? Using Quirks in public is prohibited!" Momo reminded him loudly as she looked at his back.
"How long are we going to keep worrying about that kind of useless restriction?" As soon as Kaminari exited the car, he activated his Quirk under the astonished gazes of nearby pedestrians, entering his 'High Voltage Shock Mode.'
Crackling!
In an instant, brilliant golden lightning surged across his body, with countless arcs of electricity dancing around him. His blond hair stood upright like sharp blades, drawing startled screams from onlookers.
The gunshots and explosions echoing in the distance had already put the people of Kamino on edge. Now, the atmosphere of nervousness erupted into full-blown panic.
But Kaminari had no time to worry about that. Without another word, he soared into the sky, wrapped in a radiant golden glow, heading straight toward the moonlit sky!
"That guy… isn't that Kaminari Denki?!"
"Yeah, it's really him!"
Momo watched the golden light flying toward the bright moon and shook her head helplessly. Then she ducked back into the car and told the driver to keep going.
"Damn it! I wish I could do something!" Tetsutetsu, sitting in the front seat, clenched his fists in frustration.
Why? Why am I always useless at times like this?
The area surrounding the warehouse had become a battlefield. This was likely the most intense conflict since the end of the Dark Age.
In terms of Pro Heroes, aside from those already secretly mobilized, many local Pro Heroes from Kamino had also rushed to the scene.
It had to be said, in this particular moment, the oversaturation of Pro Heroes had become a blessing.
The large number of Heroes on-site ensured that many civilians were able to escape safely and helped prevent the battlefield from expanding further.
Even so, the sheer number of Nomu, each with multiple Quirks, still caused significant casualties.
The ones who suffered the most were the armed police units. Despite being equipped with riot shields and mini submachine guns, their firepower had little effect on the Nomu.
Even so, they continued to form human walls, using their shields—and their bodies—to protect those behind them!
Endeavor incinerated the chests of two Nomu with a flaming punch and shouted angrily, his face dark, "Where the hell did all these Nomu come from?!"
At the same time, he was frustrated at being unable to fight freely.
There was no helping it. His Quirk, Hellflame, was far too destructive. In a chaotic battlefield with hundreds of allies present, one wrong move could hurt a fellow Hero!
But what he didn't know was that somewhere far away, a doctor seated in front of a wall of monitors was also cursing under his breath. All For One had thrown out all of their inventory.
Even though these were just the lowest-grade Nomu, they still required a lot of time, energy, and resources to create. It would be hard to produce so many again!
Still, even these so-called low-level Nomu were difficult for ordinary Pro Heroes to deal with alone. Usually, two or three had to work together to bring one down, which made things even more dangerous for the armed police.
Meanwhile, All Might—the biggest boss on the Heroes' side—was sprinting at full speed in a certain direction. Right now, his speed far exceeded Gran Torino's Jet.
As for how he knew which direction to go... it could only be called intuition. As one of the strongest beings on the planet, his instincts were sometimes just as effective as a Quirk.
"ALL FOR ONE!!!"
Charging through the air at lightning speed, All Might, utterly furious that Kyoka had been taken away again, let out a thunderous roar that echoed across the night sky.
At that moment, in the commercial plaza at the heart of Kamino, All For One—still dressed in a neatly tailored black suit and wearing his black iron gloves—stood calmly.
He looked like a gentleman.
But when thick, black sludge reeking of decay suddenly appeared around him, the people in the square, who had been watching the big screen, finally realized something was wrong. Panic broke out as they grabbed their loved ones and ran.
No one had expected this.
While the Pro Heroes were locked in fierce battle on the outskirts of Kamino, the League of Villains—and their long-sought leader—had suddenly appeared in the city center.
This was the absolute worst-case scenario!
"Ugh, it stinks!"
"Cough cough cough, what the hell is this?!"
Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, Spinner, Kurogiri, and Kyoka emerged from the disgusting sludge. After gagging and coughing instinctively, they quickly noticed All For One's presence.
"Sensei!" Tomura Shigaraki called out.
"You failed again, huh?" All For One looked at Shigaraki gently, his tone devoid of reproach. Instead, it was filled with encouragement and warmth.
"But don't be discouraged. Just start over. Your last plan was excellent. I'm proud of you."
All For One turned to look at Kyoka, who was standing on guard. Then he walked up to Shigaraki and patted him on the head.
"See? I helped you get your friends back. And this girl too."
"This was the result of your careful judgment, recognizing her as a key piece. It doesn't matter how many times you have to start over. That's why I'm here."
"That's right. Everything is for you." With that, he turned to Kurogiri, who was waiting respectfully beside him, and gave his order.
"Take them away. The next stage isn't for them."
At the same time, far away in the night sky, a high-speed figure tore through the turbulent air, shattering the web of neon lights with a thunderous crash as he flew straight toward the plaza—visible to the naked eye even from a distance.
"ALL FOR ONE!!!"
(To be continued.)
