"Answer me… Woman… who sent you?" I asked, a wide, twisted smile stretching across my face. Tears kept streaming down my cheeks, but my eyes glowed pure, burning red with pure hatred. The smile never left even as the tears fell.
Eliza lifted her chin toward me. Her bright blue eyes stayed straight and completely empty of emotion, matching the cold emptiness in mine. "I am afraid that cannot happen," she said in a calm, almost polite voice. "But you can satisfy your heart by killing me if you want."
"So be it."
I bent my knee slightly, the black aura around my body thickening like heavy smoke. Then I launched myself straight at her with explosive force.
*Fwooosh*
The air exploded outward as I left the ground. Dust and small pieces of rubble flew away from the sudden blast of wind. Mid-air I pulled my right arm back, clenched my fist tight, and aimed it straight at her head with everything I had.
