"Quit the bullshit and tell me where she fucking is!"
Greyson's gaze lingered on Alex before he let out a loud sigh.
"Alex, if he says he doesn't know, then he doesn't," Samuel said
"SHUT UP!" Alex roared.
He pulled out his gun and pointed it at Samuel without hesitation. His gaze snapped to Stefan. His jaw flexed, and he clenched and unclenched his fist.
"Call Erica. Now."
Stefan straightened his back and crossed his arms.
"And why should I?" he scoffed
Stefan didn't want to drag his girl into this.
He brushed his hand through his hair and face.
"Stefan, imagine yourself in this situation." Alex barked
Stefan sighed and called. Luckily, she was near.
***** Fifteen minutes later.*****
Greyson was allowed to leave before the girls arrived.
"Why do you think Stefan called?" Suzzy asked.
Both women stepped into Cherries and knocked on the door.
Erica's grip tightened on the door handle, while Suzzy turned pale.
"Shit," Erica muttered under her breath.
Erica forced a smile and stepped in.
"I didn't know this was a gathering," Erica said as she made her way to Stefan.
"Suzzy," Samuel called to her.
She turned her gaze to him. She gave Alex a curt nod and walked towards Samuel.
"Where's Avery?" Alex asked Erica.
"In your mansion," Erica answered.
Alex chuckled darkly.
Was she trying to push him?
He gritted his teeth, then forced his jaw to relax.
"I'm asking one more time. Where. Is. My. Wife?"
"Are you deaf, or are you pretending not to hear me? Read my lips. Avery Gibson is in Imperial Garden."
Alex pulled out his gun and pointed it at her.
"Don't push me."
"ALEX!" Stefan growled
"Erica, "Suzzy said, gripping her necklace.
Erica let out a dry laugh.
"You dragged me here to ask about your wife. Do I fucking look like a babysitter? She's at Imperial Garden."`
Alex's grip on the gun tightened.
"I'm not a pushover. Tell me, or I'll put a bullet in your head."
Erica shrugged.
"Shoot. I'm always one step away from death."
"ERICA!" Stefan growled.
Stefan hated what was going on.
Alex turned to Suzzy.
"Where is Avery?"
"Put the gun down, Alex," Samuel growled.
"Answer me,"
Suzzy flinched, her face draining of colour.
"I - I don't know."
"One, T-
Suzzy swayed, her vision blurring - then everything went black.
"Suzzy," Samuel quivered.
He slapped her cheek to wake her up. She showed no response. He scooped her up and rushed out.
Alex screamed and fired the sofa.
