Magic is an ancestral power that flows within the will of a living entity, and it is released through the amount of mana one possesses. Mana is like petrol; once a spark is introduced, it ignites a grand level of flames. That is how magic functions.
Mana serves as the fuel that brings magic into reality. The most well-known aspects of magic are the elements. The four elements are predominantly practiced in magic, but only a select few have been known to create their own magical arts.
Gravity magic is a fundamentally recognized form of magic, as is barrier magic, both of which, like elemental magics, fall under the category of fundamental magical arts. However, there exist magics outside these fundamentals.
These are magics created by individuals who have reached the pinnacle of magecraft—what is referred to as the peak of the mage art. At this level, mages are able to create their own unique magics. Mind-controlling magics fall into this category of non-fundamental magics.
