Chapter Forty-Eight: Doom Battle
The sounds of metal clashing against metal resounded in the area. The myriad of footsteps moving all at once added a steady rhythm to the sound playing out in the battle scene.
Bloodshed. Utter chaos. Arrows tore through the air and landed, killing multiple individuals in the process.
Swords stroke, ending the lives of countless. Low grunts, pain groans and even screams were heard.
The ground was covered in a crimson river as talent abilities of all kinds raged on the battlefield.
The pale light of the moon shone the blood on the ground, giving the surroundings an eerie feeling.
Dusken extricated himself from all these, observing with a cold gaze. Although the battle was ongoing, the three Preeminent ranks were yet to make their move.
This kept a hindrance to Dusken's plan of escaping during the chaos. Their full attention was placed on the eight candidates, their stares holding deep curiosity and also killing intent.
