It was completely dark.
No sound. No pain. No time.
It felt like a heavy, endless void.
Then—

Scott's chest heaved. His eyes snapped open.
『What the hell happened to me—!?』
Gasp… exhale… gasp.
The first thing he saw wasn't light. It was her.
A face—so close he could feel her breath.
Wide brown eyes filled his entire view, lashes trembling, lips parted just a few inches away from his own like she'd been leaning in… about to maybe kiss him?

Judy screamed back at the exact same pitch.
They both jolted in opposite directions.
Scott shot backward into the pillow and Judy nearly fell off the edge of the bed.
For a second, it was just awkward silence and the sound of two hearts panicking.
Scott blinked, dazed.
