"Greninja, Spiral Aura Sphere!" Chris called out as he threw his Poke Ball with determined force.

Greninja burst from the Poke Ball in a flash of light, immediately gathering pale blue aura energy in its palms. The Water/Dark-type locked its gaze onto the massive stone monument and fired without hesitation!

The concentrated waveguide power rapidly condensed and compressed from light blue into a brilliant azure spiral. The Spiral Aura Sphere descended from above, bombarding the imposing black sealing stone with tremendous force.

"Sizzzzz..."

Even after enduring thousands of years, the enormous black stone proved remarkably resilient. In Chris's original plan, this single attack should have completely shattered the ancient monument. Instead, the assault merely ground against the stone's surface like a high-powered grinding wheel operating at full capacity.

When the Spiral Aura Sphere finally dissipated against the sealing stone, the actual results surprised Chris even further. Rather than creating the massive hole he had expected, the powerful attack had only managed to leave a faint white mark on the monument's surface.

The effect was disappointingly minimal.

"Try Fire-type, Electric-type, and Rock-type Pokemon instead," Roy suggested with practical wisdom.

Chris retrieved three additional Poke Balls and released their occupants simultaneously. Blaziken, Zeraora, and Tyranitar all materialized, ready for coordinated action.

"Blaze Kick!"

"Plasma Fists!"

"Rock Slide!"

Blaziken charged forward at incredible speed, leaping into the air several meters before the stone and executing a devastating aerial kick enhanced with fiery energy and Fighting-type techniques.

Lightning crackled around Zeraora's fists as the Mythical Pokemon bounded high into the air, delivering a thunderous punch that sought to shatter the darkness with pure electrical force!

"ROAAAAAR!" Tyranitar bellowed with arms spread wide, attempting to use its earth-shaking power to control the surrounding rock formations and destroy the sealing stone from within.

Three distinct forces - two external assaults and one internal disruption - worked in perfect synchronization.

The surface of the massive pitch-black monument finally began showing visible signs of cracking!

It was difficult to imagine just how incredibly durable this sealing stone must have been in its prime thousands of years ago. The monument itself was undoubtedly a rare treasure of immense value.

"Again!" Chris commanded with growing excitement. "Greninja, you join in too!"

All four Pokemon launched their attacks repeatedly, maintaining a relentless barrage against the weakening seal.

After a full minute of continuous assault, the enormous sealing stone finally gave way. Greninja's final Spiral Aura Sphere proved to be the decisive blow that shattered the ancient prison completely.

The moment the massive monument crumbled, pure Ghost-type energy erupted like a magnificent fountain, then fell from the cavern ceiling like mystical rainfall throughout the chamber.

"This pure Ghost-type energy seems like it would be beneficial for Pokemon to absorb," Chris observed, watching the dark energy cascade through the air with fascination.

"Be careful - something's emerging!" Roy warned Chris and Alexis in a low, tense voice.

Suddenly, two golden orbs rose from the black fountain of spiritual energy.

The fountain began twisting and reshaping itself in mid-air, taking on various forms before finally materializing as a serpentine dragon approximately twenty meters in length. The two golden spheres had become its piercing eyes!

"Ray...Rayquaza?"

All three trainers stared in complete shock, their eyes wide with disbelief.

"AHHHHH!" Alexis screamed in terror. "Roy, I think I'm losing my mind! I'm only in my early thirties and I'm already having hallucinations - I'm actually seeing Rayquaza here of all places!"

Roy's brow furrowed deeply with confusion. Not only was he seeing the legendary Pokemon himself, but Alexis was witnessing it too, which proved this wasn't simply a problem with his own vision. "That's impossible! The last confirmed Rayquaza sighting was three years ago, and this sealing stone has existed for over two thousand years. There's only one Rayquaza in our world..."

"Is it possible this could be Rayquaza's offspring?" Alexis suggested desperately.

Regarding legendary Pokemon, especially Rayquaza - which ranked among the most powerful even within that exclusive category - human understanding remained severely limited. Roy honestly couldn't say whether such a possibility existed.

"It might be..."

"No! This is just an illusion," Chris's voice cut through their speculation with absolute certainty.

Roy and Alexis couldn't help but turn to stare at him with surprise.

"Leave this to me - I'll capture it," Chris declared without offering any explanation. He stepped forward confidently, positioning himself between his companions and the apparent legendary Pokemon.

Chris retrieved the Poke Balls containing Greninja, Blaziken, and Zeraora, leaving only Tyranitar standing ready on the battlefield.

"Tyranitar, use Snarl!" Chris commanded while simultaneously revealing the Key Stone embedded in his wristband.

Multicolored light formed a connection between Chris and his Pokemon as the Mega Evolution process began.

When the brilliant light surrounding Tyranitar finally dissipated, the transformation was complete.

"ROAAAAAR!" Mega Tyranitar, now possessing an even more imposing physique and fearsome expression, spread its arms wide and released a thunderous roar. The menacing pattern on its chest appeared more intimidating than ever!

Gray Dark-type energy spread outward in sound waves with Mega Tyranitar's intimidating cry.

The 'Rayquaza' reacted immediately to this challenge. Its massive body twisted through the air before suddenly blazing with intense light, transforming into a brilliant, dazzling projectile that pierced through the gray sound waves and shot directly toward Mega Tyranitar.

If Chris wasn't mistaken, this appeared to be Rayquaza's signature ultimate move - Dragon Ascent!

"The resemblance is remarkable," Chris commented calmly, showing no trace of fear. He retrieved a Dark-type Z-Crystal from his pocket and pressed it into his Z-Ring's setting.

"Tyranitar, Z-Move: Black Hole Eclipse!"

"ROAR!" Gray energy flowed from Chris's body and merged with Mega Tyranitar as its roar shook the entire cavern.

Within the Dark-type's mouth, the gray energy condensed into absolute darkness. A massive black hole materialized instantly, attempting to draw everything in the surrounding area into its consuming void!

After committing to Dragon Ascent, the 'Rayquaza' found itself unable to change course. The black hole's gravitational pull caught the legendary imposter, dragging it directly into the dark vortex.

"BOOM!" A tremendous explosion erupted immediately.

Both the 'Rayquaza' and Mega Tyranitar were blown backward by the tremendous force.

Mega Tyranitar managed to dig its razor-sharp claws into the black mud to brake and slow its backward momentum.

The Rayquaza, however, crashed directly into the cavern wall. The twenty-meter dragon's body collapsed like dissipating smoke, replaced by a completely different creature - a bipedal fox-like Pokemon standing roughly two meters tall. Its body was predominantly snow-white with hair tips that glowed bright red like fresh blood.

The only feature that remained unchanged was its pair of golden, majestic, and noble eyes.

Faint air currents rippled across the surface of its body, clearly indicating this was no ordinary specimen!

"Just as I suspected - my guess was correct," Chris said with a slight smile of satisfaction.

He recognized the Pokemon standing before them.

This was Zoroark in its Hisuian form.

Like ordinary Zoroark, it possessed the ability to create powerful illusions, but its typing was completely different from its modern counterpart.

Rather than being a pure Dark-type, Hisuian Zoroark possessed a unique Normal and Ghost dual-typing - making Dark-type moves the only attacks that could hit it with super effective damage.

"Perfect timing - I've been needing a Zoroark for my team. You're exactly what I was looking for!"
