Nalan glanced at Navi, who had finally stopped crying. "Are you done?"
"Yeah," Navi replied and then leaned against the wall, looking at the spectacle in the distance.
The officials had decided to use the nuclear weapon and they didn't hold back in the slightest bit. Countless magic beasts were killed as several nuclear bombs were used one after another.
They didn't even care about the returnees who were nearby and simply continued with their deeds.
Navi's eyes had long lost their luster.
She used to be very brave and thought that no matter what the future hold, she would overcome it.
But being forced to the brink of death repeatedly…
Navi felt really tired.
"The bombardment of the nuclear bombs will not last forever," Nalan said as he looked at the distance. "When it stops, we'll have to fight again."
