"Come on over here, Rachel," Theo spoke in a gentle tone, gesturing to the spot beside him on the bed. Rachel's eyes grew slightly wider, yet she took a cautious step closer and then sat down. Her hand remained clasped in his, feeling the tender squeeze he gave, which served to comfort her and confirm she was indeed welcome.
The warmth of the love system began to wrap itself around the two of them, hinting at the early stages of a deep connection. "Rachel," Theo went on, "You can talk to me about anything," his gaze filled with sincerity, "We're all in this together, and I care about each one of you."
Her eyes studied his, vigilant for any sign of dismissal or ridicule. Yet, all she found in his eyes was empathy and goodwill. Rachel took a deep breath and began to reveal her innermost emotions. "Master," she started, her voice quivering slightly, "I... I can't quit thinking about you. I'm aware that I'm not quite like the rest, but I wish to assist you in any way possible."
