Chapter 255 - Chapter 254: Distribution

After briefly assessing his recent gains, Qing Ming did not linger any longer. He quickly cleared the traces left around him, then moved swiftly to the top of Flying Rock Stream. Activating his Sharingan, he scanned his surroundings and, confirming that no one had been drawn by the recent commotion, returned to the stronghold at the village of Xiaogu.

By this time, it was already late at night.

Under the moonlight, Qing Ming moved as silent as a phantom, effortlessly evading the watchful eyes of Iwa ninja stationed at the outskirts, as well as the patrols of Konoha ninja within. Quietly, he slipped back into his quarters.

Inside the cabin.

After a brief wash, Qing Ming did nothing else but lie down on the bed. Within a few moments, soft snores were heard. Clearly, he had fallen into a deep sleep.

For the past month or two, he had been utterly exhausted, with little sleep and constant battles and training leaving him barely any time to rest. Now, with his Mangekyou Sharingan awakened and his strength soaring to a Kage-level, he felt he finally had enough power to protect himself and could afford a little rest.

Thus, for the next three days, Qing Ming did not engage in any training, allowing himself a much-needed break.

Of course, he wasn't completely idle; adjusting to the new powers of his Mangekyou Sharingan took some time. He used this opportunity to get accustomed to the changes it brought.

Just the added four points to his "spirit" attribute from awakening the Mangekyou Sharingan made his genjutsu significantly more powerful. Now, if he were to face an elite jonin like Shou again, even using only his Three-Tomoe Sharingan, Qing Ming was confident he could trap them in his "Genjutsu: Sharingan" without them breaking free so easily.

With the Mangekyou Sharingan added, if the opponent failed to evade in time, breaking free from his hold would be nearly impossible. In other words, he now had a hidden trump card.

Imagine someone in battle with him, believing they had already gauged his limits and had prepared counters for all his known techniques, including his Three-Tomoe Sharingan. Then, out of nowhere, he uses the Mangekyou Sharingan — the opponent wouldn't know what hit them! And let's not forget the "god-like power" of Susanoo. Even in its initial form, its offensive and defensive capabilities were nothing to scoff at.

In the worst case, if all else failed, he could rely on "Heaven's Dominion" — with ten seconds of time, he could accomplish quite a lot. This meant that against any jonin, he now had no reason to lose.

However, since both his ocular techniques lacked offensive power, he would need to further develop his regular combat methods.

With that in mind, Qing Ming began distributing his chakra.

Currently, he could recover up to 85,000 chakra points daily, and he planned to allocate 36,000 points to bodily enhancement using "Mystical Palm Technique." Each use of this technique consumed around 150 points, allowing for 240 sessions in total. With each session lasting about three minutes, this training would take approximately twelve hours.

Additionally, Qing Ming intended to devote 30,000 chakra points to develop his Mangekyou Sharingan, enhancing "Heaven's Dominion" and "Human's Dominion," as well as the growth of Susanoo.

The method?

Training through "Art of Reflection."

Currently, his "Chakra Control" skill was at lv5 (1450/5000), reducing chakra consumption by 26.5%. Each practice of "Art of Reflection" thus consumed between 150 and 160 points, allowing for 192 uses from the allocated 30,000 points. This would take about three hours.

12 + 3 = 15.

In other words, these two training activities alone would consume fifteen hours each day.

As shown, with the constant increase in available chakra, it wasn't chakra that limited his growth, but time itself! And more crucially, neither "Mystical Palm Technique" for body strengthening nor "Art of Reflection" for potential development were tasks he could delegate to a Shadow Clone.

In other words, he couldn't use Shadow Clones to share the burden.

Thus, time was incredibly tight.

The only silver lining was that his other skills could be practiced by Shadow Clones to accumulate experience and return it to the original for skill proficiency. Although this would waste some chakra and wasn't the most efficient approach, it was the best solution for someone short on time.

Therefore, Qing Ming planned to use his remaining 19,000 chakra points in this way, letting the Shadow Clones absorb them.

As for what skills to practice...

Since these conventional techniques were meant to compensate for his ocular techniques' lack of offensive power, the logical choices were "Wind Release: Blade of Wind" and "Rasengan."

The former was already a solid wind release jutsu worth improving, and the latter served as the foundation for developing the S-rank Forbidden Jutsu "Wind Release: Rasenshuriken," so it could not be neglected.

As for other skills...

If there was additional chakra left, he would invest in them. If not, they would have to be put aside for now.

After setting the chakra distribution plan, Qing Ming began his training.

However, this time was different from previous repetitive practice.

Now, every ten repetitions of either "Mystical Palm Technique" for bodily enhancement or "Art of Reflection" for developing his Mangekyou Sharingan's evolution, he would activate his Mangekyou Sharingan and use "Human's Dominion" to guide his body's evolution.

Though his ocular power wasn't yet strong enough for deeper manipulation, "Human's Dominion" would still respond to his intent.

Even though he couldn't yet see any visible changes, it subtly altered his body, steering it toward the evolution he envisioned.

So, incorporating "Human's Dominion" in between was quite essential.

The only thing to be cautious of was not overextending each use, as repeated activation of "Human's Dominion" put a considerable strain on his right eye.

To ensure he strengthened his "physical" attribute enough to offset the strain before it caused severe consequences, Qing Ming had to manage the pace carefully.

After about a day of training, he estimated the time needed for his "physical" attribute to increase from 14 to 15 points.

At his current pace, it would take roughly twenty days for his body to accumulate sufficient foundation for the transformation.

This was almost a third faster than the time it took to go from 13 to 14 points.

Ordinarily, the difficulty of increasing from 14 to 15 points should have been higher, requiring even more time.

Yet now, it was faster.

The only reason for this must be the guiding influence of "Human's Dominion," allowing him to avoid many detours and thus saving time.

It's foreseeable that as "Human's Dominion" advances and its effects grow stronger, even more time will be saved.

Perhaps his next increment from 15 to 16 points will be even shorter.

Such thoughts flashed through his mind, and then Qing Ming composed himself and continued his training.

In this way, the days passed by one after another.
