Axel's POV
For a whole week, we really gave it all. And today is the pitching day. I was checking our material for the last time. Cora said she has good feeling about this project, It's my first real project that we made from scratch.
I was waiting for Cora, the meeting held at 10 AM. but she hasn't showed up.
Cora will present our project in front of all the shareholders, she tried to convince me to present it for days. But I don't have the desire.
She's never been late before, what if something happened to her?
I called her, no answer.
After a couple of times, someone answered it.
"Hello Cora? where are you?" My voice sounds panic without being able to control it.
"Hello, right now Cora is in the hospital, and she's been passing out in the street and broke her arm." A sound of a woman in her middle age replied,
"I woke up now, please give me the phone." a slight sound heard, it's Cora.
