"It is a tree," Xavier said flatly.
Alvin wiped at the corner of his eye. "Educational indeed."
Luis crossed his arms. "The brakes are sensitive."
"You did not brake," Daniel replied.
Luis hesitated.
"…Details."
Jax pushed his door open and stepped out to inspect the damage.
The tree stood firm.
The armored vehicle looked mildly inconvenienced.
The bumper had a dent.
A noticeable dent.
Jax stared at it in silence.
Behind him, Daniel exited and walked around the front.
He looked at the tree.
Then at the car.
Then at Luis, who was now peeking out sheepishly.
"…You hit it dead center," Daniel said.
Luis smiled weakly. "Precision."
Xavier stepped out last and examined the damage.
"It's cosmetic," he said finally. "We're fine."
Jax exhaled through his nose. "I am never letting him drive again."
Luis climbed out and approached the tree.
He placed a hand on it solemnly.
"I apologize."
