Eva leaned back on Foxy, her lips smacking as she savored the last traces of sweetness on her tongue. She glanced at her empty donut plate with regret, wishing she'd eaten them more slowly.
"No matter how slowly you nibble, they'd be gone eventually," Julian muttered, smirking at her unsatisfied expression as he lay atop her beast. Foxy's massive frame could hold three more people, making the space feel roomy with just the two of them.
Eva shot him a glare and rolled her eyes, knowing Julian was still miffed she hadn't shared the donuts—hence his overly cheerful attempt to annoy her.
"The chef will make more for me… but you'll get none, ah!" she taunted, turning her back to him.
Before she could react, he pulled her into his arms, and a quick yelp of surprise escaped her lips.
Julian pinched her cheeks, ruffled her hair, and chuckled at her frozen expression of disbelief.
