Ethan was dumbfounded when they subjected him to a series of tests simply because he had stayed in the rain a little longer than he should have.
"Alisa, I'm fine," Ethan muttered helplessly as Alisa questioned the doctor about his health.
"Shut it." Alisa snapped and escorted the doctor out of the room to discuss his health further.
When she left, Eva peeked through the doorway, her green hair giving away her presence. Ethan pinched the bridge of his nose, already knowing why she was there.
"I'm alright for the hundredth time. I'm not so delicate that I'll fall sick just from a bit of rain," Ethan muttered in a deadpan voice before she could speak, successfully blocking the question lingering on her lips.
"Do you want some hot soup? The chef made fish soup," Eva asked instead after noticing the displeasure in his tone.
"Yes, thank you."
