She could not just spell it out that she was together with Reko. Because she was not, she was aware of the many flings Reko had. So, she could not claim it.

"It's about the curse, some health check up."
She decided to lie through gritted teeth. In the worst case scenario, she could just run a few basic check ups on Reko and claim that this was what she was there for.
"Ohh? I see."
Nodding in understanding, she contemplated. What should she do?
She was not particularly informed about their situation but the look in Shizune's eyes could not be faked. So, she decided to play along and give Reko a hard time.
"You should visit him then. He seemed to be waiting for someone."
She pretended to realise something and her eyes widened as she suggested Shizune to visit him.
Of course Tsume knew that Reko was not waiting for someone. But who cares, it was his trouble to deal with.
Since she was ignored by him and Kurenai, let them deal with it.
"I have to prepare dinner. See you later."
Tsume did not give Shizune time to think and left in a hurry.
'Haha! Let's see how they deal with it.'
She seemed happy, chuckling, thinking of the scene at Reko's place as she headed to her home.
Reko was still in the moment when he suddenly realised that someone was really close to his house, his door.
Someone familiar!
"Shizune? Wtf!!"
He muttered in a low voice, low enough which Kurenai drowned in pleasure could not hear.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Crossing his fingers, he quickly made a Shadow Clone. That was the only way to deal with Shizune right now.
A Shadow Clone popped up beside him, startling Kurenai.
Her brain turned to max speed, thinking of all the things she could explore with the help of another Reko, a clone.
"What? You have enough strength to spare a Shadow Clone now?"
She gave an alluring smile as said this. She was thinking that the clone was for them, for their bedtime fun.
But her devilish confident smirk vanished as soon as she realised that the clone was making its way out of their room.
Embarrassing!!
'The clone was not for me? It was supposed to go out??'
She closed her eyes in embarrassment, unable to face him after saying that.
"I can make another one, if you want to try it."
Inching close to her ears, Reko whispered softly.
It was funny that she thought he would be interested in such a thing.
But he was happy to entertain her with a few of his Shadow Clones, if she wanted.
"Did you just lure me into asking for this?"
Embarrassed and angry, she asked Reko. If it was not for her then he could have just done it secretly or made it clear.
But no! He chose to smoothly execute it and made her feel like he was up to something new.
Wasn't it just trying to get her to ask for this?
"Quite smart, pretty lady."
He smiled as he used his hand to squeeze her cheeks, nearly petting her.
This made Kurenai pout in dissatisfaction but she didn't say anything.
She should have played smart and remained reserved like a demure lady.

"Hey Shizune!"
Outside the house, Reko greeted Shizune, catching her off guard. She was just about to knock and call for him but Reko showed up before she could do that.
"Hey! Reko!"
She greeted him back, showing him a bright smile.
Reko, or the Shadow Clone, was only half dressed. He greeted her shirtless, allowing her to have a good look at his upper body.
"I am really sorry. I was just about to get back to you before leaving."
Before Shizune could manage to take her eyes off his body, he decided to apologise for not showing up to meet her.
This caught Shizune off guard, melting her anxiety and resentment. She had believed that Reko did not even remember her.
"You are leaving?"
However, his words caused her to feel sad again. He was leaving? Already?
She asked him just to make sure if she had not misheard.
Reko placed his hands on the back of his neck, flexing his biceps as he pushed his elbow back, stretching his arms.
"Ohh yes, I have to be back."
He replied. There was no need to go back, nothing important.
But he said so, to avoid Shizune from getting inside the house. He believed he could take a walk outside with her, letting the real body do the deed without any problem.
"Why don't you come in?"
Unfortunately, Shizune seemed to be eyeing the inside of his house through the gap in the door. So, he decided to invite her inside.
It would seem very impolite and suspicious otherwise.
"Is it okay? I heard you were expecting someone?"
Shizune looked apologetic for entering his place uninvited but her body said otherwise.
She was at the doorstep, her body already moving to get inside. Her feet were headed to the door already.
'She says so, but look at her, already stepping in. Haha!'
Reko thought in his mind as he looked at Shizune stepping in even though her words were polite.
"Expecting?"
However, Reko paused for a moment as he muttered. Expecting?
No! He was not expecting someone!
The only reason why he reached out to the door was because he had intentions of leading Shizune out of the house rather than inviting her in.
Then how did she get to know that he was expecting someone, a visitor?
"Tsume Inuzuka, I met her on my way here."
Shizune shook her head as she answered. She had managed to save some time thanks to Tsume telling her that Reko was still there, expecting a guest.
"Ah, I understand now."
Reko listened to her patiently, nodding, as he understood the gist of what was happening here.
"No. That person left already."
Reko pointed at the doorstep, there were no footwear in that place, only the vacant place for them.
It showed that no one else aside from Reko was inside the house.
Shizune respectfully removed her footwear at that place before entering the house.
She was still kind of unsure, the surroundings looked fishy. Her woman's intuition was alarming her.
