Eta took a deep breath and she believed in Acid and said, "Well, I don't think that you would lie, you can stand now and now it's Zero's turn to explain everything."
Zero was surprised, and everyone else was now excited. Zero couldn't believe that Acid is trusted by everyone even if they would be seeing him for the first time, but he expected that they all would have known him from a long time but still, believing in him at this situation was a little bit strange and weird for him.
Zeta put his arm on Acid's shoulders and with a smile said, "Don't worry, Zero. I will stay with him and he won't run away, you go and take your seat, I will take care of Acid."
Zero looked at Zeta...and it was better now, he can't believe in Acid completely but if Zeta or anyone keeps him here only so that our information wouldn't be gone somewhere else, he will be fine. He walked to the chair and took his seat and shook his head and hair and clapped on his face and looked in front and Delta was in front of his eyes and she smiled and locked his hand with the chair...and Zero was speechless, he didn't understand...why is he being considered the villain, he won't run away but he believes that Acid may run away.
Delta started walking back to her team and explained, "It is just so that we could keep you here for a while, on the situation like if we couldn't believe in your words and we could torture you or force you to say the truth and you can't run away at those situations."
And Zero started sweating...he realised that a very strict investigation is going to take place on him, but he wasn't afraid to it, he would just answer what they all will ask. He looked at front and everyone was ready to hear the story.
Eta looked at Zero seriously, and asked, "Zero...tell me, you can remember your past life, don't you?"
And it made to sense to ask that question because what he said to Alpha looked completely familiar with the words of Zero they know and how the story had ended. Delta and Eclipse were confused, "I don't think that Emi would lie, but maybe she would have this time or there maybe something strange. Tell Zero."
But Zero was confused, "I really don't understand what you all mean to say. I don't know about my previous life..." But suddenly Zero's eyes widened, he assumed that maybe...they have got to know about the nine hundred ninety nine life he repeated and Delta and Eclipse were speechless by his face, they thought that he can remember his life and Epsilon smiled, looking at Zero and said, "Well, you will just answer what we say, so I will ask you...tell us your all the stories you can remember. And tell everything about it, each and every word of it."
It was a perfect question to ask, that was what others thought...Zero looked down with closed eyes, remembered and answered.
"...My first life...I don't know how was I born, who were my parents and I don't know anything, but I was adopted but Head Rem and Head Rehi..."
And the Lords were confused by hearing the word of Rem and Rehi, it was their grandfather who picked them all in their previous life.
But Zero continued, "Then I joined the organization, worked with you all...I think I liked someone at that point...I think it was Alpha..."
And Alpha's eyes widened and everyone was confused, where the story is even going.
"But when I turned of 16 and the day Mistress took over the school...I died because I failed to save the one, the one rich in heart and soul. My second life began, I repeated everything again, but I was now more scared that I will be repeated again, if I didn't save the one...Heads adopted me, I worked at the organization with you all, and it repeated again...I failed for the mission the Screen had given to me..."
This was going somewhere else, somewhere more shocking...and they all realized, that Zero...has done regression again.
"Let's go to the final life, my this life... it's my nine hundred ninety nine time I repeated this life, and at this time...I finally saved the one, I didn't know but...it was Alpha, I saved her and the regression ended...and that's my all nine hundred ninety nine lifes I lived. I don't remember about any other life of mine, that's all."
And everyone was speechless, shocked and Alpha fell on her knees, tearing...and looked down. Delta and Eclipse couldn't believe and they both came in front of Zero and with a hurry asked, "...Who was ordering you to do that...who was killing you all the time and repeating everything again and again?"
Zero was surprised, he didn't think that it would be question but he looked at them and answered, "God of Time it is...right? The one who made the Screen?"
And Delta and Eclipse were shocked...they both couldn't control their anger anymore and suddenly snapped their fingers and they both disappeared in a second.
Eta, Epsilon, Beta, Zeta and Acid were in a great shock...the same story was repeated like it did the last time. They all looked at Zero and finally they got the answer...why Zero was always lost in his work and responsibilities... because his feelings were killed, he still liked Alpha but when he focused on everything just to not be repeated, he killed his emotions and focused on to achieve and end the loop.
And suddenly Alpha's eyes widened...she also remembered, all the nine hundred ninety nine life she repeated and died, at every three she forgot it, but finally...her all past memories and she fell down and started crying, screaming and shouting and Eta, Beta and Epsilon tried to calm her... it wasn't the fault of Alpha either, nor of Zero... it was just the same fate, the same story.
