"So you came at midnight, with Alpha and Kin?" Zeta said and Zero nodded his head. Beta looked at him and said, "Leader said that Alpha has came with Kin, she would have forgotten you, but I didn't see them, where's Alpha and Kin?"
And everyone was speechless, shocked that a guy with glasses is free to talk with the Elites without any problem or anything. They couldn't believe that a boy who is not even in the uniform is talking with them like they are their companion, which Zero is.
Zero looked at Beta and answered, "Alpha was at the garden just a few minutes ago. And Kin had came running with Leader and their roommate and they all took Alpha, for something like this hall or it was intro or something."
"Hm, makes sense." And everyone looked in front. But they all suddenly started sweating, because they all know that in an hour, they will forget Zero again, they had taken the Remember power which was too much costly and to reduce a little bit, the power would only work on Alpha all the time and they don't have enough money to buy for Zero, even if they all make all the coins together, still not a single one will get for him, they realized that there's so much inflation at the System as well, and they all sighed, having no other option than just using whatever they have for now. They can't help about it for now.
Epsilon started walking ahead and everyone started following her and walking away and she said, "The boring speech is going to start, Sacreficer. Go and stand anywhere in any line, we will have to now leave."
Zero smiled and he just waved his hand and they all five smiled and moved ahead and left. Zero now looked around, and there were so many students and lines of them, some were boys and some were girls and as Epsilon said, he can stand at any line so he just walked a little bit and stood in a boys line at the end and looked at side...and he started sweating.
Alpha was even there, standing next to him and she was surprised by the coincidence and she smiled brightly and Zero also smiled back.
"How am I looking, Zero?" Alpha asked and Zero and Alpha were still like they are still at their home because it was common, in a week Alpha would go for shopping twice all the time anyways. But the question was worst, Zero looked at Alpha and she was looking happy and it was uniform which can't be changed either and he remembered that Alpha actually liked it. He smiled and commented, "It's looking good on you."
"Lord!!! They are flirting!!!"
And a kid complaint immediately and Zero didn't get it, but Alpha blushed a little bit but she also didn't understand. She had asked on her own and Zero just answered it normally and they were enough close for that as well.
And Delta came behind Alpha and Zero, put her arms on their shoulders and said, "Hey, Sacreficer and Alpha, don't make others burn by jealousy. Did you both get it?"
Alpha laughed gently, but Zero was still not understanding anything. He was blank. The kid actually became angry and he was going to complain about Zero not in the uniform but Zero said before him something else.
"Del, you are a Lord?" Zero asked and Alpha also looked back at Delta and Delta nodded her head, "Yeah, so called discipline in charge. All the six are, Elites one. Maybe you will also become one, Sacreficer."
The boy was left frozen...
"You were one of the companion of the night shift team and worked at the organization, then you should become one. Do you want to become?"
Alpha looked at Zero denied, "I am happy with whatever I am doing, I don't want responsibilities of many. But good luck to all of you."
And Delta started sweating, indeed their bad and boring job is going to be hard. No one ever wanted that work, but Rehi just requested for it and they can't deny with him. Delta sighed and she finally started walking away again and said, "Thanks for the good luck, but join us Sacreficer if we ever want to protest and leave this job, if Rehi refused."
Zero never had gone on protests, but as they all were his own companions, he had no problem and replied, "Sure, and tell me any task if you want me to do, except anything of the Academy. Alpha may join us as well."
"I don't have any problem." Alpha said and Delta smiled and walked away, "Sure, I will rely on you both any time, see you all later."
The boy looked away with anger...but suddenly he forgot everything and he just looked in front and focused on the stage.
The lights were off and the spotlights came at the stage and Rehi finally came at the stage and the assembly finally begin.
Rehi opened his mouth and he started giving his speech and Alpha yawned, feeling tired and so did Rem at the back stage and Eclipse, Delta, Eta, Epsilon, Beta, Kin and Zeta were also there and they all smiled with sweat, even Rem accepted that Rehi was giving a speech which no one wants and is not even necessary. The speech was too long, going on from a whole hour and even Alpha had kept her head on Zero's shoulder and feeling more sleepy now than before. Zero looked at others but no one else were acting like her, everyone else looked like serious, some would be really inspired and fire was burning inside them and while some were trying to act that they are not bored but others...they looked kind of strange.
But suddenly Zero's eyes widened and he looked somewhere and his eyes widened...even Mistress was there! The Mistress looked back and with a rush Zero hide himself and sat down and Alpha slipped and she completely slept on the floor with her head on Zero's laps, she was almost asleep but still asked, "...What...happened, Zero...?"
Zero remembered about two weeks ago. He was worried about Alpha and nothing else and he just smiled with a sweat and remain sitting and patted on Alpha's head, making her more sleepy and he just smiled and said, "Nothing, but you sleep."
"...Ok..." And Alpha slept again.
