The second he saw those words,
CLANK!
"Grrhh..."
A groan of pain escaped Err's lips as the staff crashed onto the ground, sending him down with it.
His hands gripped tightly at his head as images began appearing of where the name had been mentioned, but they were all mysteriously blurred out.
Yet they came in such large numbers, forcing him to think about them again and again.
His teeth ground together, a yearning from his soul urging him to see what lay beyond the blurred images.
DROP!
Red blood dripped from his nose and ears, his hands pulling tightly at his hair, and finally they came.
All of it, and all at once.
The memories of his life, his childhood, his parents, and ultimately the memory of their deaths.
Then what he had last seen:
The golden panel that now blinked at the corner of his eyes.
But the remembrance of his parents' deaths, for some reason, didn't bring tears to his eyes.
"The werewolf monster..."
