Chapter song: Slither - Djo
The other students couldn't help but glare at Silas when they heard his comment, but they couldn't deny the fact that he was right.
Silas, Julius and Cyric were ranked high among the thirty students in the course which was an incredible feat. Usually designated groups would have a balance of overachieving and slightly underachieving students in order to encourage diversity in the groups. Why did Hendrikson decide to put them together? Not to mention the three could be considered friends?
A student raised their hand to object to this decision. "I don't think it's fair to have them all together sir."
Mr. Hendrikson gave the student a quick glance before looking back at the board."How unfortunate. Life isn't fair." He said.
The student as well as the rest of the class were aghast by his comment. It wasn't all that unusual for Mr. Hendrikson to be cold and unyielding, but this was a bit much even for him.
