The meeting ended without lingering.
No one stayed behind to repeat what had already been decided. The plan was clear, and more importantly, it was practical. Four days were not a long time, not when they were trying to establish themselves on an entirely new plane against established kingdoms.
They moved.
Almond stepped onto the central plateau, the wide stretch of land lying between the towering central palace and the nine surrounding castles. The scale of everything around them made the plateau feel smaller than it was, but it still spanned far enough to house an army without crowding. Beyond the plateau, the Pocket Realm unfolded in all directions, each biome distinctly different from the others.
